Trouble Installing Clockwork on Mac - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

It seems like all tutorials for a mac are so outdated. The new android sdk doesn't have adb so I can't do any tutorial that tells you to use adb, rom manager didn't install it like it was supposed to, I don't have odin so I can't do it the easy way, that weird mac program that is supposed to be like odin can't detect my phone, and now all I've got is the stock android recovery and no stock operating system.
What can I do from the stock recovery to get clockwork on this thing?

[Q] LS990+Bootloop+Mac

I edited the DPI to 700 in the build.prop on my ls990 and now it is bootlooped. Require urgent noob assistance. I can't use this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/spr...de-how-to-restore-sprint-lg-g3-ls990-t2852042) because i have a mac. Currently trying to edit the build.prop through adb, but i get this error whenever i try an adb command (-bash: adb: command not found)
i installed Android Studio successfully but have no clue how to use it.
Stock Recovery. Stock ROM. No backup. Rooted.
Use parallels and install Windows and flash the stock rom. That is how I flashed stock rom via Mac.

S7-301u Fastboot bricked - need TWRP flashable Stock Recovery

i want to dload my MP back to official B005 and give it my mother
unfortanely i cant get back stock recovery anymore
Windows XP SP3 detects an "Android" device but cant find a driver. i tried every package i found on my hdd and internet., even modded the inf file to include device pid/vid, then it installs but fails with error code 39. same result on a netbook with Win 8
can i somehow flash stock recovery or rom via installed TWRP 2323?
Hi, you need to go on the Huawei website and download HiSuite and install it. This provides the required driver to use fastboot. But this does not help install a dload file, unfortunately, unless you happen to know some commands that I do not know. If you do, please let me know.
After the drivers for ADB and Fastboot are installed(from Huawei, from the Google SDK, precisely the ADB Installer Utility found somewhere on XDA, or even those already installed for a different device), install the Mediapad Recovery Installer Tool (contains all recoveries) from somewhere in this subforum, then replace TWRP with stock recovery, then Dload will work again.

[Help] Install CM7 on Motorola Cliq XT without camera button

Hello to all.
Well, I have an old Motorola Cliq XT (mb501) (a friend gave it to me) that I want use like a backup phone. This smartphone has an old Android version (Android 1.5, official ROM) and I can't use basic apps like WhatsApp or Facebook Lite, so I tried upgrade to Android 2.3 using CM7. I downloaded it and I decide use the official CM guide. I haven't got any problem rooting and installing the custom recovery, but when I want boot to recovery mode is necessary use the camera and the power button. And here is the problem: this phone apparently have it (see this photo) but, if you disarm it, there is nothing and I can't boot the recovery. Is there a way to boot the recovery without using the camera button?
Regards and sorry for my broken english.

Someone here?
Are you able to plug it into a computer and run the command "adb reboot recovery" without the quotes ?
If so then that should bring you straight into recovery.
That's assuming they have adb. If not, get it from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790 . Since you are rooted already, you can also boot to it from inside the OS by using Terminal and using the command: reboot recovery or an app like Quick Boot https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.siriusapplications.quickboot&hl=en which does basically the same thing but automates the process. I'm not sure if it supports android 1.5, but the commands have been the same since then so maybe. 1.5 is indeed waaay out of date and that might just be another app that won't function, but the Terminal command definitely will.
Quickboot doesn't works.
When I use adb reboot recovey it's says error:closed
Do you have USB Debugging turned on on the device? That's the only thing I can think of at the moment. Sorry. Maybe someone will chime in that knows more.

Re:Stock or Custom ROM flashing with TWRP...

Re:Stock or Custom ROM flashing with TWRP...
Let me preface this to say that I am a "noob" when it comes to all things Android, that being said I need some helpful replies re:flashing (with Windows 7 64 bit PC or Smartphone...)a custom or stock ROM (if TWRP is to flash the image, will need a zipped ROM)to an Alcatel One Touch Fierce XP-5054N smatphone that has mysteriously lost Android 5.1.1 Lollipop after downloading, installing TWRP recovery app /) ; after installing TWRP recovery , i noticed that "TWRP" had erased my Android OS so I will need a download link (or ?) for a good Stock Alcatel 5054N ROM or custom ROM copy that is compatible with the aforementioned smartphone...
I will also need to know the best way to reflash/install Android 5.1.1 (or later android OS version)...to my Alcatel(i prefer to install via the smartphone since the smartphone has issues being recognized by any windows adb drivers(well, the smartphone shows up in windows explorer when connected to a USB 2.0 port, but any PC based flashware i've tried cannot find my smartphone!?!?)
Thanks in advance for a pertinent reply!!
