[Q] LS990+Bootloop+Mac - Sprint LG G3

I edited the DPI to 700 in the build.prop on my ls990 and now it is bootlooped. Require urgent noob assistance. I can't use this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/spr...de-how-to-restore-sprint-lg-g3-ls990-t2852042) because i have a mac. Currently trying to edit the build.prop through adb, but i get this error whenever i try an adb command (-bash: adb: command not found)
i installed Android Studio successfully but have no clue how to use it.
Stock Recovery. Stock ROM. No backup. Rooted.

Use parallels and install Windows and flash the stock rom. That is how I flashed stock rom via Mac.

[Q] Custom Recovery??

can anybody teach me?
When mine P-500 on Android 2.2,I can root & using custom recovery
Now I using Android 2.2.2,I using GingerBreak v1.2 to root and I already root.
But when I want to operate custom recovery steps.
Then 1st.-restart my phone =>finish ok
2nd.-connect to PC & open Debug mode =>finish ok
3rd.-open windows DOS Command mode and type "adb shell" =>finish ok
4th.-In "$" prompt to input "su"(own superuser)
=show"Permission denied" why??
Hope someone talk to me how to
Thanks a lot
When you type su on your pc, you will usually get a prompt from the superuser app on your phone where you will have to allow it for the procedure to proceed on the pc. Have you done this?
And, If I understand correctly, gingerbreak need not always install busybox and superuser correctly on your phone. check first whether you have the superuser app on your phone and that it works. If not, install these 2 apps from the market.
Then try the procedure once more.
If you are trying to install a custom recovery on your phone, you don't need adb. You can install a custom recovery using a tool like terminal emulator on your phone. The procedure to do so is mentioned in the following thread -

Trouble Installing Clockwork on Mac

It seems like all tutorials for a mac are so outdated. The new android sdk doesn't have adb so I can't do any tutorial that tells you to use adb, rom manager didn't install it like it was supposed to, I don't have odin so I can't do it the easy way, that weird mac program that is supposed to be like odin can't detect my phone, and now all I've got is the stock android recovery and no stock operating system.
What can I do from the stock recovery to get clockwork on this thing?

[Resolved]step guide how to flash a razr on linux

I also tried to flash to ICS ( through the eternity Project and it failed to )
I have only Linux , I don't have any acces to a windows machine, please suggest me only solution which can be accomplied with a linux machine.
I searched the web with steps by step guide, but It seems it missed always something. please, when you alredy flashed your razr through linux, show me how you did it. my razr is not rooted. I have android SDK installed and it is operational.
So here is what I want :

I already follow these step it failled. I think the comes from the fastboot file. may be could someone point me to a fastboot file which works well.
i tried many from this page : sbf.droid-developers.org/umts_spyder/ list. php but it failed.

Support in German :good:
Questions belong in Q&A
I wanted to let you know I find a solution .
I did as follow:
using only a linux machine , I setted the android sdk, and from the unzipped Stock rom folder ( ICS) I executed the fasboot_image.sh file:
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
sudo fastboot_image.sh
NB: I have move both the adb and fastboot files to /usr/bin so they are globaly accessible. fastboot_image.sh is just a script which continually run fastboot , so ensure first your fastboot can see your phone
Well, this is exactly what Fla**** does without the need to install the Android SDK, which is not required to perform this task.
As you noticed, the ICS SBF is self contained (it contains a script and fastboot binary) - but other SBFs are not.
You have to set up udev using appropriate USB IDs first, so that tools fastboot and adb can access the device. If you are smart, you won't have to use sudo.

[Q] Soft-bricked phone! Any help?

Hello XDA! I'm pretty new here to the forum, and I need quite a bit of help here.
I own a Nokia Lumia 1020 clone(named L1020, running stock 2.3.6 rom on a SC6820 SoC, rooted but no custom recovery) and since I rooted it started loving Android. I was modding framewprk-res.apk, but I messed up and deleted the /system app, and now I got a pretty good soft-brick.
Luckily, I have backups of both modified and stock versions of the app on my SD Card.
Afterr Googling a bit I found that I can reinstall the app via adb or a custom recovery. (I can boot the phone into recovery)
Also, I've been unable to mount the system partition read-write when trying through adb under Win8.1 32bit (driver issue, maybe? ) neither detect the device under recovery mode
Question is, can I try to flash a compatible version of CWM through stock recovery, or maybe help me with this issue using adb, or help looking for a better solution? I really need that phone, as I won't be getting a new phone soon.
(May I add that I'm going to use the same laptop I rooted my phone for adb today afternoon. It runs Win7 32-bit and has the adb drivers correctly installed)
EDIT: used laptop today, installed the drivers and stuff, ran ADB but..
adb shell
$ su
su
[-] connect ui: timer expired
so, no superuser access... what did I do wrong?
please help!
Thank you very much!
