Guys,
If I was to activate the TV sub with a virgin SIM, and then swap it out to use my TMobile SIM would I still be able to use the TV function while the TMobile SIM is in there until the 30 days runs out?
Thanks
Dave.

I don't have TV coverage in my area to check it out but from what I've heard you only need the virgin SIM to activate the subscription. Might actually work out cheaper to keep buying a new PAYG SIM and get the 90 initial trial, £10 for three months as opposed to £15 + a SIM (they do come with £5 calling credit still don't they?) that you can sell on to anyone who doesn't use the Lobster 700TV.
TV on non Virgin SIM
YES I do it at the moment with Orange SIM after unlocking via Virgin.
BUT you'll have to insert Virgin SIM every 30 days to renew TV licence.
No TV license update.
Well I unlocked mine, used Vodafone sim, replaced with Virgin to update license but no go!
Entered into explorer address bar Virgin sms my friend had sent.
www.mobiletvportal.co.uk/vm/index.asp?go=nextfile.asp
But it says I have a blocked ip address.Could it be because phone unlocked?
could i please have the unlock code for the lobster ive looked everywhere
So I recently found out that I needed to get a sim card and connect to mobile data in order to unlock my pad 4 plus and so I thought I could use Tmo's 4g/3g network, went to the store in order to get a nano sim card because my old tablet used a micro sim, then I found out later that there's not even a 3g band for tmo that can connect to the tablet. I could just be dumb to buy the tablet from China but in reality I was going to use to on WIFI only and 4g would be a plus. But since Xiaomi doesn't allow for Mi Unlock Tool to be used on WIFI, I can't even unlock the bootloader, I have a useless sim card and mobile line, and am looking for another way just to unlock this device.
It's disappointing to know that I can't even unlock the device on WIFI.
Please, I would greatly appreciate it if someone can find a solution to unlock the device via Wifi

I'd like to know too. I figured lte meant it could take tmobile, but I'm a bit disappointed. Any work around to get it working for tmobile?
a quick check here: https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/US/xiaomi-mi-pad-4-wi-fi shows that it should support at least B5 on the T-Mobile network. But we don't know the band coverage over the country, so you might simply be living in an area without any usable bands.
Looking at this list, we can see that Sprint apparently has 2 supported bands (B5 and B41) so maybe you can try a Sprint SIM? Maybe someone you know has sprint and can borrow you their card? Or maybe Sprint offers a cheap prepaid plan you can use temporarily?
I've a problem with my new Honor 8. I have a Vodafone contract SIM in slot 1 and when I went abroad to St Lucia I bought a local SIM (flow) for slot 2 and switched over to activate that in the settings. A Simple process i have not done before on this phone but have on my previous Motorola Moto G4. The problem is the only network the phone could see was the other carrier on the island (Digicel) who Vodafone use if I used world traveler plus at £6 a day. The SIM worked fine in my friends Samsung J4 so the SIM was OK. I tried the Flow SIM in SIM1 and it still didn't work.? again it detected the Digicel network but not flow? I tried auto search and manual search?. Actuated roaming and mobile data. Re-started the phone countless times. It's like the phone is behaving as if it's locked for Vodafone only (which is what the guys in the flow shop said?) but I bought the phone from Huawei direct through Amazon as unlocked?
It should be simple and straightforward?. I've checked and re-checked the settings many times
Any ideas?
I just bought an used Verizon version to be used on Xfinity Mobile. Every Verizon phone I bought has worked flawlessly on XM, but the V60 won't let me use it with XM. It doesn't say it's sim locked. It just say at this moment you can't used the V60 with non Verizon phone. Anyone using the Verizon version with other carriers?

I have the Verizon V60 using it on Mint Mobile. I used to get the same notification when putting a non-Verizon SIM in it. I had to wait 60 days from first activation and then contact Verizon support to get it unlocked.
Yeah. I just realized Verizon has this new policy of locking for 60 days. Mine started to work on exactly day 60.

is there anything you had to do to get them to give you a sim card for the V60? i have a Verizon V60 that is unlocked and they are just telling me its not supported and dont want to just hand me a sim card to just try. i would greatly appreceate a responce as i love Lg phones and am extremely frustrated at this situation.

Could you connect to the T-Mobile's 5G network? I consider to buy the Verizon LG V60 unlocked to use with a T-Mobile SIM.
I just bough a new in box LG-V600VM version that is "unlocked" . @gordec Were you successful in using this phone with xfinity mobile? Do you think I will have to wait 60 days, even though this is new in box?
HI guys I bought an unlocked pixel 6 from google store and I cant get mobile data when I'm using my MetroPcs sim (USA)
but when I'm putting my sim in my previous Oneplus 6 its working just fine!
what should I do?
Tnx.
BTW i performed a Data reset on the pixel already.
Use the Metro App to change the sim card over to the new phone. Metro needs the IMEI from the phone for service to work. Using the app is free, calling can cost you $20.
