I've recently tried rooting my dad's Lyf Wind 1. I first rooted it with KingO root app, then unrooted and tried with King root, then I did something using a terminal editor to replace King root with SuperSU.
And the next time I restarted the phone its just stuck on the "powered by android screen".
I've tried cleaning cache and factory resetting but nothing seems to work.
Then I downloaded the official ROM and tried Apply update from sdcard. But it shows an error E:Footer is wrong E:Signature verification failed.
I'm completely stuck at this part. My dad's gonna kill me. Please help.
(Also I dont have access to my PC for a week, so please try to give me a way to fix it without a computer)

I have this rooted kata fishtab 3 and I can't download a certain app it says there that the device is not compatible with it. So what I did was I tried to find a solution so I can download that app and I found 1 and I did the steps I changed the build.prop I changed that device name and all of the sudden after restarting my tablet I got stock with the CWmod I think they call it bootloop and I tried resetting the device to it's default or factory reset but there is an error message and I forgot it. And what I tried to do is try doing the rooting steps again but it's failed also after erasing the IDB I can't install the custom ROM and this is the error message I get "Download boot failed".Anyone here who can help me? Or my tablet is already bricked and no solution. Will you please tell me I'm kinda noob and I just bought this tablet :crying:
Hi guys,
3 days ago, the google play store stopped working. Then 2 days ago, setting was also not opening. So basically I was not able to install and uninstall any app. The last thing which I did before it all started was installing pokemon-go from kickass torrent.
I tried restarting but was of no use. So I read somewhere to factory-reset the phone after taking backup which I did.
I tried this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2277765
The user data was deleted and I tried to restart.
When I restarted, I started getting the message com.motorola.ccc has stopped. And it restarted again from "Select your language".
This happened some 4-5 times.
I restarted again and then it went into boot-loop. So I tried going into recovery but it showed relaxing android logo with "no-command" message.
Now when i try to go to recovery/factory it just starts from M logo screen and keeps stuck here.
Please help, I don't have enough money to buy a new phone. Also I have never tried to root or unlock boot-loader. So I think my device is still unrooted and with a locked bootloader.
Try this
http://dev-viraj.blogspot.in/2015/02/flash-official-android-444-on-moto-e.html
If it fails then visit service center.
I didn't saw your reply, and now I have unlocked bootloader. Also put twrp and installed super-su through it. When I try to reboot after installing super-su through twrp, it now getting stuck at a screen where its written "Warning Bootloader Unlocked" image link - https://img.xda-cdn.com/07bHXuyl9MWBlTXLMfLQbTgjqXQ=/http://i59.tinypic.com/2uny2pk.jpg.
Now I am thinking of putting a custom rom "http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e/development/rom-temasek-moto-e-t3226883" this one.
Am I doing it correctly ??
Hello there.
Ive had my Alcatel (android version 5.1.1) phone for about 3 months now and a while ago I wanted to root my phone so that I could install some Xposed modules, and I ended up using Kingroot. The rooting process failed but I kept it installed so nothing much occurred afterwards. A few days later I decided to install Kingoroot to see if maybe that could do the job of rooting my phone and it also failed. I was tired so I powered off my phone and went to sleep. The next morning, I powered on my phone and to my surprise it was stuck in a bootloop. I attempted to wipe the cache partition and factory reset and then reboot my phone, but it didnt work. Please not that I wasnt able to unlock the bootloader, so I cant flahs any ROMS. No system file is missing to my knowledge because it always stays stuck on the metro pcs screen with no error message. I appreciate all the help I receive and thank everyone who responds.
Thank you.
I have exactly the same problem with the exact same phone and the exact same carrier
were you able to fix it? if so, could you please tell me how.
Hello, so about a week ago I did a factory reset to my phone PSP5508 from the official OTA update app after that the phone rebooted and went into Android System Recovery and displayed the error message "Installation Aborted" and now everytime I try to boot the phone, it ends up in bootloop. I had about 90% of battery left when I did the update. I have tried flashing the update with adb sideload but still no luck.
Can any of you experts please help me?
Thanks!
Hi,
My phone was updated to Nougat 7, and rooted using CF auto root, Also had TWRP installed (but was too dumb to actually make a backup.)
It started playing up so I decided to do a factory reset, upon doing this I could no longer login because I don't have a google account I can access.
I tried to reflash 6 and the bootloader for it through twrp and it appeared to work but when it rebooted I couldn't get past the logo screen.
When I try to flash nougat 7 with odin I get Error SW REV. Check Fail Device 6. Binary 3
I can access my "download" screen and I can access TWRP, is there a way that I can fix this mess?
Hope you can help, I appreciate anyone that can.
