New member (not a techie, slightly geeky ). I used ur xda manipulator - GREAT!!! (Is there anywhere I can vote for it? :wink: )
I cracked the screen of my xda playing leapfrog with my son Parts of the screen stopped responding and I did a hard reset, Now I can't get past the stylus alignment screen 'cos at the last tap to align it goes back to the first step.
Is there a way to get past this and keep using it (hoping the screen will work) or do I have to replace the screen? If I have to, can anyone suggest a place to do so in the UK?

Screen and touch part are separate separately, although prying them apart and sticking them together again can be tricky, we found.

Hello, just broke screen of my Honor 7, I would like to change it, but I want to be sure to buy the correct screen, not a fancy one like beiing in 720 instead of 1080. So if someone has already changed his screen and knows where to buy a real Honor 7 screen.. thanks for your help

Here is the issue. xperia z3 |compact needed a new screen after a fight with a car. I bought replacement and installed. However, although the image is good and the digitizer responsive, if I touch the screen centre ('show touch' is on) the touch and screen response line up but further out from the centre, the more out of alignment the touch and response is. It is as if the 4.6 inch digitizer has 4.3 inch firmware in it. Have factory reset and tried calibration apps. Is there a way to tweak this, perhaps by an Input Device Configuration file (*.idc) or to force Android to change the touch position via an app?
I very carefully installed this screen to be waterproof, so I am loathe to start again with a new screen if I can avoid it.

Hi, about 1mm on the left side of my display no longer response to touch, all other parts of screen work just fine, but this makes typing dificult and I don't have money to either buy new phone or getting it repaired(cost about the same). So is there a way to either increase the left side border or apply a custom border that will stay there in all apps and keyboards and basically moving screen to the right 1mm. Or a custom launcher that could add this feature?
This happened after I added tempered glass(supplied with the phone) to my phone, and even after removing the tempered glass problem persists.
I just need a solution untill I have money to to get it repaired or buy a new one.
My phone is Firefly Mobile Intense Desire, 5.5" screen 1280x720 IPS, 3GB ram 32GB ROM, 3550mAh battery, Android 5.1 Google Now launcher - not rooted - best phone I have ever had.

I am asked to repair a broken screen of the X Pro ...second time.
For first replacement I ordered this part:

But it was less responsive (especially the softkeys, but also in general), not as bright and not as colorful as the original screen.
Furthermore we faced random screen-freezes, which are gone after switching screen off/on.
Does anybody have a suggestion for me, where to buy a (hq/original) screen?
