Does anyone have a rooted, Intel-based android device that has access to the Play store? If so, could you download the 'Sonos Controller for Android' app and upload the apk here?
I'm trying to find a way to run a Sonos app on Ubuntu and the easiest route seems to be to run the Sonos Android app in an Android VM (because the Sonos Windows app no longer runs in Wine). I'll be running on Intel though so I need the apk that targets Intel architecture.
Many thanks!

An XO Tablet here with Android 4.4.2. I've installed GNURoot Debian 0.5.0_armhf.
I want to run a software which works routinely in desktop systems. Where should
this be located? If an account with directory /home/user/ is created and the
executeable is put there, the permission is rw_ and can not be changed to rwx.
Thanks, ... Peter E.
Does somebody succeed to ssh into GNU Debian for Android ?
I installed this app as well on my Huawei Mate 9 (not rooted) with Android 7 Nougat.
It installed flawlessly and the APT manager works good as well.
But the problem is to get SSH access from outside. I installed sshd and it worked and it opened on port 2022 but ssh'ing into that port results in
Code:
ssh: connect to host <ip> port 2022: Connection refused
I searched on the internet and tried this but to no avail.

Hi,
i have this simple configuration.
Philips Andoird TV PUS6501 (Android 5) + External HDD
PC (Windows 10)
What i want is to copy files from my PC to the HDD wich is connected to the TV.
I heard this was possible with Android KitKat but since Android Lollipop the function is gone.
I heard what i want is possible if i get root and set up a Samba Server (wtf never done something like that before)
I heard root is possible but only temporary (with the dirty cow script) but i didnt find any tutorial for my TV nor did i recive any help in the Philips Android TV Thead.
So what can I do to get write access when the HDD is still connected to the TV?

Share the files on your PC and use X-plore or ES file manager to copy the files from one to the other. Another possibility is using something like Cetus Play on the TV side. It can set up a simple web server that will accept uploaded files.

Wine 3.0 has been released recently and it now supports android, especially x86 android, like our beloved YB.
Unfortunately, im using windows version.
ive tried the WINE 3.0 on my Shield Tablet (arm), it works but with limited function. i only got to play with the windows calculator. media player comes pre-installed but doesnt run. maybe because my android tablet was ARM-based.
ive discovered that for android, the C:/ directory is at /data/data/org.winehq.wine/ - so you would probably need to root your device.
for those who have the YB android, pls let us know what you think
I tried to get Office 2016 working in Wine 3.1 but got an error upon install. I haven't had a chance to try any other installs
Hello,
I downloaded Android x86 from the official site on my laptop and install unfortunately I have a problem when I download and
install pubg the app doesn't work, it doesn't even start the app. What could be the problem? Have not changed anything so far,
only activated the arm function under the setting on android x86.
Thank you
