Hi,
Quick question: What type of storage does the honor 9 have? UFS 2.0, UFS 2,1 or flash?
Thanks in advance.

eMMC 5.1
Got the information here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzORJY1lHtY
*sigh* they could've used UFS for more performance.

Hello XDA,
I have a redmi note 3 kenzo 32gb
But its only showing as of 9.23 gb
It must be at least 24 GB I think
When I tried to check in settings/storage, it is showing that my system is of 19.90 GB
Plz help me configure this issue
Please help me!!!
Same issue here though with my letv le 1s and after flashing Lineage. Did you also flash lineage?? If you did then after wiping internal storage you might not have booted the system back to MIUI which i think is the issue. Anyways please tell me if you get any solution.

In twrp, select format data (under wipe). Then flash rom + gapps.
I spent many hours with one of these MXQ Pro 4K boxes trying to restore it following a faulty firmware which was incorrect. 80GB later and 2 days solid I found the correct firmware.
I took a look at the board and it is labelled H234 V2.08 HXW17041803-02 it is an AmLogic S905x quad core, mali 450, 1gb/8gb as well.
It has the strange SCI S9082C wifi chip.
This firmware should get your device working again as it sure did with mine. Flash with USB Burn Tool.

I'm not sure, but I think the SCI S9082C chip is a clone of a Rtl8189es. Any body could help with that?

anyone have android 7 rom for S905X cpu S9082C wifi?
Hello dear Community,
I am wondering that the size of the Firmware (Memory&Storage > Firmware) is 12,67 GB large.
Is that the case in any of the STF-L09 Models with the latest updates?
This seems to me as a huge waste of the available storage, since I am using two SIM Cards.
Is there any way to reduce this size?
I would be grateful for any confirmation or reply.
Thanks, Veduuu
Yes, system takes a lot of space, it's normal
Thanks for the confirmation!
My old 2nd gen Moto G uses around 3,5 GB for system files and necessary apps with LineageOS. I am just wondering what the additional 9 GB is used for in a Honor 9.
How big is Firmware size running a custom ROM (e.g. LineageOS for Honor 9) ?
Thanks in advance

Custom ROMs take less than the Stock Firmware (EMUI)
Good day to all, maybe this question is already repeated but I did not find a clear information, according to official features says it supports up to 64GB, but I have seen some that use 128GB, is it true that if it supports?
I use this LP ROM: PureX v11 (https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z2/development/rom-purex-z2-v1-0-t3168555)

I use a 128 GB A1 microSD without any issue
hello,
I have X96 mini, P281 board ,S905W CPU, 1GB RAM, no idea about the wifi
The OS (Nougat) 7.1.2 is working but I keep getting errors that apps or services stopped or failed, it's not severe case, I still manage to do a lot of things I just hope to find a newer OS
Sadly I found out the RAM is just 1GB, is there a way to install any newer OS or ROM on this device? of course wifi and Bluetooth support is essential, I want a fully working OS version that is not sluggish/slow
Is this possible? I want something already known to work, well tested and proven
I want to use the device to play 4K video files and play streams from local network, install the most Play store apps.

Edit: Also where do I find tutorial for such flashing?

Did you find anything? I bricked the same device and I think I can't find the correct firmware for this board. My Usb Burning Tool keep failing at 2% with error [0x10105002]Romcode/Initialize DDR/Read initialize status/USB Control setup error. Do we have the same board? (it has 2308 writing on it, but I have a working identical device and its says p281 in Android Recovery:
Amlogic/p281/p281

I never opened the device to see the board number...
I decided it is not worth the effort. the information is not clear and expected results is not clear also, I don't use it anymore, too many problems to fix.
