SOLVED!!!!
Hey there....
So i have done something terrible wrong.
Was rooting my phone... worked well but i cant install apps as system app. It always told me that it cant mount.
After i saw something on youtube to solve this kind of problem i went to revovery in TWRP under wipe > advanced wipe, checked "system" and clicked to repair or change file system > change file system. I than chosed FAT and rebooted.... result is that im now in a loop of the Galaxy s7 Edge logo because the filesystem of the system is wrong? Dont know what to do... i changed it already to EXT4 and F2FS but its always the loop
Now i cant even enter twrp anymore (it stucks on the logoscreen)
When i try to do anything via odin it tells me FAIL! (Device Info) ... is there anything i can do right now? or did i killed my phone
im realy desperate, i pray that its not hopeless right now
Thanks for your time and answer
Greetings
Chris
UPDATE:
Fixed it with this:
The fail pops up when i insert the rom only in AP... i guess i messed it too much up for only this.... when i set it as the screenshot is showing it works ... thank god xD

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to search my problem around but cannot find any thread about this, sorry if I missed out something.
I'm using GT-I9100 for a year now, I was using custom rom Hydra-H2o. Today, I updated rom to version 1.4.1... the process was fine. When I booted up, set things done, I found the contact information was really really wrong, it kept updating wrong photos to wrong contacts.
So I decided to factory restore in the setting menu. The phone was rebooted and struct in the boot screen that has its name "Samsung Galaxy SII GT-I9100" and an ordinary yellow triangle.
Even charging my phone, a battery icon is loading and nothing appear to show me how much juice I have.
I tried to boot to recovery mode, still the same as normal boot. The only boot that is working is download mode.
Please help me, this phone is my buddy
Thanks
Ok you can get download mode, get a stock Rom, flash using Odin
If it boot loops, go to recovery and wipe data cache.
Should fix your problem
I will try
Thanks for now
Fixed! Thank you so so much!

Hi all,
My partner has a S3 which is unrooted, it stated it needed to restart as something went wrong (partner says) she rebooted and not its stuck on the samsung boot screen.
I cant boot to recovery although I can get into the vol down menu, it currently downloading custom os i think.
I am a big HTC fan so I am confident with flasking and such so can someone point me in the right direction for a fix
Been on Odin it saying There is not PIT partition
Thanks!
Bump
I rooted my Samsung Galaxy Prevail II with Framaroot-1.9.3.apk, granted SuperSU, then chose Gandalph option.
After rooting, I used Odin 1.85 to install recovery CWM_Prevail2_Ring_Koumajutsu.
It would not boot all the way. It would get to the second Samsung logo and flash it on the screen. I waited for an hr. It never booted.
I tried to install SPH-M840_MH5_Stock, that has bloatware removed. Still fail.
So I was frantic and started formatting data and cache cuz it said "can't mount data (or cache).
Then I saw a mounting option. So I mounted everything it would let me.
That got rid of the "can't mount" errors, but it would show a yeild sign below the first Samsung logo.
And when I try to restart from recovery, it says no root and does the yeild sign. And the whole time I have been working on it, since I flashed the recovery, it says "can't find /tmp/recovery".
So. I think for the no root error, formatting it, removed root...
HELP PLEASE!!!
Blessed be,
Toxic
Hey there.... realize this is an old post... You ever resolve your issue... Looking into rooting a buddies m840?

Hi, people at the xda forum!
I got a s6 edge g925l from a friend that showed an invalid imei (350000000005), it was working fine before suddently it stopped getting service, so i flashed the stock original firmware from sammovile, for that particular model, thinking that it might been something software related, it flashed ok, at first boot it took me to the stock recovery and i can see 2 errors at the bottom,
"cant mount /efs" (i expected that since the efs partition might have been corrupted before) and somthething about dm-veridity
thing is that it wont boot into the OS, it shows the s6 edge logo and then it fades to black, with a blue led in the top, i installed twrp via odin ver(3.1.1) and i can flash zip files normally, i can get it to download mode without issues, im looking for some ideas as to what can be happening
Why wont let me boot into the OS (Regardless of the Null imei, i dont really care about the imei at this point) i just want the phone to boot into the OS.
Any idea or sugestion will be greatly apreciated..
Thanks in Advice!
