Anyone tried Magisk 13 with this?
Me with b05 if it works.
It would have to work also in the one that is to download.
The rom that I use is one made by me and not the one that is in the post

Hello Guys,
Just a quick question. I have a Chinese version. Can I convert it to European version by just flashing the stocksystem.zip file via twrp? I am aware that I will have to flash the Chinese modem for network to work. Also do I have to flash the bootstack?
Thanks in advance.

I think that is the correct way yes.
I did this to my european model, flashed the american rom, bootstack and the european model and it worked nicely.
Keep in mind to edit the zip of the bootstack and remove NON-HLOS.bin (the modem) just in case, I've read you may lose your IMEI if you don't.

@raystef66 could you upload a flashable zip of the modem mate?
thanks.
@SilentEYE
@nfsmw_gr
In size / baseband N-B04 and N-B05 ("modem": "MPSS.TH.2.0.c1.9-00104-M8996FAAAANAZM-1) are exactly the same. Even N-B02 looks identical.
Only N-B01 ("modem": "MPSS.TH.2.0.c1.9-00095-M8996FAAAANAZM-1) is different (which is on the first page of the LOS14.1 thread, so outdated )
Like @dnlilas said you can find the B04 here : https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=172381
Thx! @storming :good:
Attachment VER_INFO : difference between MODEM N-B01 and N-B05 (same as N-B04 and N-B02)
Perfect, thanks.
Dont forget to flash SuperSu.

Someone tried this method :
He flashed bootstack, system and super su 2.79. wipe dalvic/cache. That did not work. after that he formatted system and flashed system again. rebooted into twrp and flashed system and supersu again.
Or try this if this wont work : https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/guide-b08-rooted-unlocked-to-leaked-7-1-t3575601

Thanx! When switching from MM to Nougat a system wipe certainly makes sense.
Edit: Just to follow up I went the safe route following the recommendations in the link you posted so I went from B08 to B10 bootstack and system and SuperSU 2.79, then to Nougat 7.0 bootstack and system and SuperSU and then to the B05 Nougat 7.1.1 bootstack and system and SuperSU and everything went fine, all my applications and settings were preserved and Nougat runs very smooth and without any problems so far. I only wiped cache and Dalvik cache after I flashed SuperSU after every update, probably not necessary but still recommended. Did not touch system or data at all.

Hi all, i'm pleased to share my work with you.
Here you have the latest official lollipop firmware for D855 ( v. 20A - LRX21M) packed in a zip flashable file.
I made this because all of us want to keep the old bootloader that is - at the moment - the only one who accept the bumped TWRP provided us by team Codefire.
I made also a step further and found a way to root this ROM.
Here you go:
First of all i suggest you to install the TWRP modded by me to allow the backup of the modem.
Be sure you select also the modem partition before taking the backup. ( If you want to restore the backup then restore also the modem )
1- download the two files and put them into the sdcard;
2- reboot in recovery and do a factory reset;
3- install the ROM and the supersu ZIP;
4- reboot the device and enjoy your rooted Lollipop ROM.
If you come from an earlier lollipop firmware you can dirty flash, it might work.
I spend a lot of time developing this so if you think i deserve you can donate ( look at my sign )

Q&A
What this ROM include?
In the ROM zip you can find only the system, modem and kernel (bumped) image
What do i need to flash this?
You need only to have the TWRP recovery installed
If i flash this i will lose the bumped recovery?
Nope. The bootloader will not be changed.
If i want go back to KK roms ( stock or AOSP) what i have to do?
Just flash your ROM or restore a previous nandroid backup. But, after that, flash the zip with the KK modem you can find in the 1st post.
I really need to flash the root files?
Must i answer????
Cannot write to internal SD?
With adb or a terminal emulator do:
Code:
su
restorecon -v -R /data/media
Your statusbar and navbar are gone?
This is a issue reported from some user.
Try to format manually data in TWRP before install the rom.
If this doesn't work try flashing the kdz of the H firmware ---> root ----> twrp ----> install this rom ( sperimental).
Doesn't have the option to enable LTE?
Go with a root browser to system/app/Lteconfigs/, click and install the apk, then reboot and you will have the option for LTE.

If you wanna update, flash stock recovery, only then it will work. Also, you need to have an unmodified system so you probably have to flash the entire stock ROM 4.4.4 only then you can update. Or if you wanna get out of the bootloop, just wipe cache.
Follow this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e/development/downgrade-5-0-x-to-4-4-4-stock-firmware-t3031073 and then update.

Ok, use stock recovery for OOS 2.2.x to flash OOS 3.1.4 found here: http://oxygenos.oneplus.net.s3.amazonaws.com/OPX_recovery.img
2.
Then after you have flashed OOS 3.1.4 you flash this twrp recovery by blu_spark for the new bootloader found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=20236
3.
Then in the new twrp by blu_spark you flash a modified SuperSU provided by me:

ok go here and use the guide to update your BL,and while you are flashing the OPXBLupdater.zip flash MOoSv3.zip after it.Then flash the recovery as stated in guide.
This way you'll be upgraded to new BL along with the MOoS.:good:
Note: remember to wipe your data and system partition before flashing the MOoS or else it'll bootloop.
Also please don't create unnecessary threads,if you could just have browsed the general section or the MOoS thread you should have been fine.

With the new bootloader and TWRP for it, you should be able to wipe all & flash full 3.1.4 rom zip.
But, I've seen people with relojed BL without reason .Just check it before proceeding.
Hi all,
I'm a bit of a Noob when it comes to this phone and rooting it, and i've been following a Rooting guide by theunlockr. My phone has stock 3.1.4 on it. I've installed adb on my PC and when flashing recovery.img (fastboot boot recovery.img), I get an error dtb not found. It appears that I need the modified TWRP.
So from fastboot, should I just be doing steps 2 and 3 in post #2 above ?
Sorry but I have no idea as to what bootloader I have. If necessary, how can I check this ?

You need to have an unlocked bootloader to use fastboot.
To verify, fastboot command is (you need to have your phone on fastboot mode and usb connected to the computer)
"fastboot devices"
It should retturn a number DFGKCK999
= it's OK, recognized
"fastboot oem device-info"
Should give 4 or 5 lines. One is Device unlocked "true" or "false"
If true, it's OK.
Just flash the recovery here :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-x/development/unofficial-twrp-3-0-2-0-recovery-onyx-t3471584
Reboot directly to recovery with the buttons to be sure he's sticked
Thanks
And to root it, which version of SuperSU ?

[EDIT] Needed the proper version on SuperSU found in post #2 here - https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/oos3-0-twrp-root-make-mm-great-again.440706/
In fact, the last post in the XDA link from Keno40 confirmed that SR5 didn't work. If only I had read that before getting close to heart failure !!!

i think you just wiped system partition while wiping,
no need to worry, once go to mount menu and try mounting system manually and try to flash any custom rom..
(or its better if you restore any of your old rom backups..)
though if you get a status 7 error, it might have to be delt with updater script, do not worry , give me a screenshot of twrp when you have an error again..
and dont say thank you, have a habbit of pressing thanks button.. good luck..

i think you just wiped system partition while wiping,
no need to worry, once go to mount menu and try mounting system manually and try to flash any custom rom..
(or its better if you restore any of your old rom backups..)

just press volume down and power ant the same time.. (remember just press both at a time, but DO NOT HOLD FOR A LONG TIME,)
or else you can just take pic from any other phone or
you can simply type in here the exact red lines that appear in the error..
Here is the screenshot
You should try going back to stock ROM. Its easy if you download the firmware for your model.

I did a factory reset because i had problems with RR (System Ui has stopped) and i wanted to get the FP update.
I think i still have a backup in my SD card. If i can't flash any rom i will just go restore my old backup

Looks like the last stock firmware you were on was Lollipop. You must upgrade to Stock Marshmallow firmware at least once to get the latest builds of CM working.
Did your Fingerprint scanner work in Resurrection Remix?

No it didn't it was an old version but on android 6.0.

Yes, it's not RR that needs to be MM, the stock should be.
The stock Marshmallow firmware contains important updates to get the FP working in other Custom ROM's.

Just download the latest Firmware for your model below version B360 from Honor site. B360 causes bootloop when you try to install Custom ROMs

looks like you have mismatching baseband,
try any other rom or the previous rom you used on your phone...
and i would recomend wiping system and data before flashing roms each time,
let me know even if it fails..

If your model is KIW-L21 then go ahead and install that. Check the forums for installing Honor firmware using the eRecovery if you don't know how.

That assert is there to check if the last stock ROM was marshmallow or not. It fails if Stock was never updated to MM.

No, the first builds without the fingerprint didn't need the latest stock MM update and could be flashed on top of Stock lollipop.
THIS IS FOR ROOTED/Bootloader unlocked users - You can simply flash this over previous TWRP bootstack/stocksystems
Install procedure in TWRP :
1.flash N-B09 bootstack : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=673791459329066133
2.flash N-B09 stocksystem : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962021903579497339
3.flash SU2.79 (or 2.82) again !!! DO NOT FORGET !!! : link in DownloadCenter A2017G
4.reboot again (...and give it some time...)
Btw, install Magisk at will. No problem there.
E N J O Y
Thnx @tron1 for his initial work on it :good:

I have a question.I am on stock B32 and unlocked bootloader on my G .If I flash universal B15 bootloader,Does the bootloader lock then ?
Hi guys, what's the purpose of flashing the bootstack? I came from Nexus 6 / LG G2, I am used to just dirty flashing the new builds over.

Thanks a lot, downloading it now! My internet is quite slow and so it's going to take over 3 hours to download this ROM, but it'll be worth it in the end.
is it better to upgrade with stock system ?
@raystef66
Dear friend, I really enjoy your work because I actually own a A2017 version but with your images I'm able to simply flash the update without any modem fuss. Also it is great that there is neither force encryption nor unlocked bootloader warning present in your builds. Do you remove it by yourself?

Much appreciated !
These files are made that things like fastboot,... are left as they were. So no "unlocked bl warnings: whatsoever.
These bootstacks contain also the proper G modem in it (not as Universal B15, where you have to flash it afterwards)
Alright, I updated to this version from B04 and I honestly can't find any difference save the Dec 1 security patch...
hello if you can install this rom on a2017?
one silly question.
its possible to dirty flash?
If I flash bootstack I lost data decryption?
So I need to backup, flash, boot, then restore?
thanks

I'm running the latest Resurrection Remix (A version of LOS) on my A2017G. can I also just flash this new bootstack without doing anything else? I only want the new modem and such because I'd like to try out if it fixes my horrible SOT of about 2 hours

Yeah you can use the files as it is for G model.
But first take twrp backup! Use 3110 to be sure.
Btw, you can try out the different G modems in Download Center. No harm done flashing them. Just try and see what's best.
But then again, 2h SOT... Mmmmm, advice looking for some draining apps, check all permissions on app settings for battery saving and so on.
