Have TWRP installed? If yeah, just try to boot into TWRP. Once you get there, wipe everything and flash a custom Rom.

Hmm, try to fastboot TWRP. If it works you can recover your device. Otherwise you've to use SPFT.

Do I do it while the phone is plug up to pc or do I disconnect first

I bricked my Xperia S

I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to roms although I did install a few on my old zte blade a few years ago. Anyway I just tried to install the pacman rom from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2685822 and I've managed to brick it somehow. Install all seemed to go fine via CWM, selected reboot system and now it won't turn back on. No lights or anything. Only thing I get is a vibration when I hold the power button down =/
Any chance of saving it?

Sooo.. i understand that you have allready root rights.
Iff you do... here is an ideea:
1. go to android market and download RebootManager
2. install.
3. this app has the power to make you happy .
4. press rebootmanager > press reboot to recovery... give app root right...
5. and... voila you are in recovery. Custom recovery(if and only if you installed the right and good recovery for your phone)
hope this helps you.
Ohh.. one more think: TWRP is way better then CWM. My opinion.

Hi. I am sory that is not working.
I have thinked about what you sad. Try this:
1. Load the scatter file that is in the firmware: MT6572_Android_scatter.txt
2. Try to flash without the accumulator pluged off.
3. Plug the cable after you pressed firmware upgrade button.
If this is not working, i will try to find something that is working, when i will have some time. From time to time check this post maybe i will find something and i will upload here.
Good luck.

Problem when unlocking bootloader

Hi guys I need your help.
I just got my Redmi Note 3 Pro 32GB. It was on official China ROM from what I know. I tried to unlock the bootloader without permission using this guide http://en.miui.com/thread-235865-1-1.html but when I flashed the ROM using MiFlash I got an error. I later restarted the phone and then all of a sudden my WLAN, Bluetooth and SIM would not work at all. So I tried again and now I get this error saying (Reached end of file... Receiving Hello Packets).
I can't flash a ROM from MiSuite through recovery as it always says it fails.
I'm at a loss here stressing out for days trying to get this to work and install CM13 on it. Was really excited but now this phone kind of pisses me off everytime I look at it. If I could fix the problems and flash CM13, this would be a great phone. Guess after this I'll probably not purchase another Xiaomi, nightmare to unlock and stuff.
All your help is appreciated. Thanks!
Try use Miflash too to wipe it with latest beta or stable rom.

Unlock your bootloader, then open your phone in fastboot mode. miflash works in fastboot mode too. Flash your phone. If the wifi problem is still present, then flash a radio package. PM me i will send the link if the problem is still present.

Download the latest miflash. Try to flash a fastboot rom via edl mode. Ise 64 bit os. Make sure driver signature is disabled. Once you have properly flashed the rom, open miunlocl and then proceed normally.
When i revert back to miui from cm13, i encountered network and wifi problem. I unlocked bootloader via unlocktool and it unlocked like a charm.

Try using windows 7. It has higher success rate. Also try to download some other version of fastboot rom. Maybe the rom has problems. As for your network and wifi related problem, it can be fixed by flashing a different nonhlos.bin file

Not going well man. Still same problems no matter the ROM. If I try the same method on fastboot they tell me the bootloader is locked. I don't have access to another PC so I can't really try out. Looks like I'm all out of options and this phone is pretty much a brick. Maybe I'll buy another one and try again but... goddamn

As long as you phone does not have any hardware fault and can boot in either edl mode or fastnoot mode, then it can be repaired. Keep patience. Better yet take it to xiaomi service centre, they'll do it for you. But as far as i know, edl mode can help you properly flash. Keep patiece buddy

Windows 10 64bit and yes I can

Dead/bricked infinix hot 4 pro (x556)

A friend of mine gave me a rooted infinix X556 (Hot 4 Pro) to unroot for him
I actually had in mind to just flash it, knowing well that it'll take care of both the rooting and ROM issues.
But in the process checking the root, I got to know that TWRP Recovery was used for the rooting.
I later got it successfully unrooted, and I tried to get rid of the TWRP by flashing just only the Recovery, but it wasn't just going through.
My friend collected the phone and was using it, Having been wiped with TWRP.
But after some days later, he came back with the phone, as it can only boot to the TWRP (It was even showing in the TWRP that NO OS Installed). He got the phone into that situation by trying to use TWRP to do a factory reset.
So, when I later collected phone, The initial OS version that actually came with the phone was X556-H371A-N-170926V157.
But I successfully flashed X556-H371A1-M-160906V70 MT6737M, using flashtool 5.1640, After the flashing, the phone couldn't power on again, and that's where the bulk of the problem is now.
Now it seems the phone to have been bricked, Guys, Please, how can I succesfully unbrick it and bring it back to life?
Thanks in advance.

Really? But all of these were working before the flashing, and what actually baffled me is that the flashing I did on it went through and I'm just wondering what the problem could be.
So you mean there's no solution whatsoever to this?

Well, I thank God I didn't relent on my own effort by not giving up on the phone as you have already condemned it.
I later used Infinix Flash tool to flash the same firmware I flashed with SP flash tool, and now the phone is up and running well.
So, please, I'll urge you not to be too quick to jump into conclusions.
Thanks

Wow That's some serious effort by you, but the situation you made, confirmed that your phone was hard bricked!
As far as my knowledge went I considered the following facts mentioned on Quora.com and confirmed that your device is HARD BRICKED!
QUORA said:
Hard Brick: All your device does is showing you a black or grey screen and keeps vibrating without any display.
Sometimes all you see is the RED charging light, and nothing else on the screen.

What I only observed is that it's like the Infinix Flash Tool is a bit better than the normal SP Flash tool, because the same firmware I flashed, which made the phone dead, was the same one I flashed on Infinix flash tool, which later made it work.
All the same. I appreciate your efforts.
Thanks so much

Well, I thank God I didn't relent on my own effort by not giving up on the phone as you have already condemned it.
I later used Infinix Flash tool to flash the same firmware I flashed with SP flash tool, and now the phone is up and running well.
So, please, I'll urge you not to be too quick to jump into conclusions.
Thanks
