Hi, so I just installed Samsung Good Lock UI because it has the option to change your lockscreen wallpaper to be the same as your desktop wallpaper (I have a GIF wallpaper so I cannot set that to the Lockscreen without Good Lock) then I uninstalled the updates in settings (basically replaced System UI with the factory version) but I am not sure what I did wrong because now my Lockscreen, Status Bar, Notification Shade and Recents and whatever Good Lock replaces is gone! Normally when I installed or uninstalled Good Lock a popup will say The device will now restart. Then I installed Good Lock again, and literally when I booted up all I could see was my wallpaper. Nothing at all except for my wallpaper. I tried go into recents and notification shade but that also doesn't work, so I rebooted into TWRP and restored the backup I made earlier that day (it was Enigma V3 Rom) before flashing Enigma V4 and I could see apps and app drawer now, and wallpaper and I could open them fine, but still there was no lockscreen and and recents and notification shade and such, like the first problem I got before installing Good Lock again on Enigma V4. So now basically I can't really use my device, hopefully someone will have a fix for this. Thanks for your time.

Hey guys~
So, I personally don't like the slide toggle in Widgetlocker, so I decided to just get a separate widget that is a button toggle (Silent Toggle) and put it on my lockscreen. Problem is, I don't like the icons >_<
Any way to change the icons? I can't seem to find where the widget was downloaded onto my A2
Also if you have any nice toggle icons, that would be great too
I'm going with a mainly black and white transparent theme and the only icons I could find right now are the ones used it this theme
Thanks^^
If you could also help me with this problem, it would be nice~
Whenever I try to make a shortcut in Launcher Pro for a specific email account that uses the stock email app, the shortcut goes on the homescreen and not the dock. Sometimes it even says that the homescreen has to force close! Any reason for this?
bumpidy bump
Any help appreciated^^
Hey,
having two problems
the 1st -
unable to change the wallpaper for the lockscreen.
in only shows the picture i've set for homescreen wallpaper for some reason.
think its related to the JKay mod.
the 2nd problems,
i have some icons not showing up.
instead of the appropriate app icon, i see android icon and text label "loading" instead of app's name.
tried reset, and cache & dalvik wipe.
my phone specs:
ROM - Firefds v13 (based on Samsung stock rom 4.1.2 XXELL5)
Kernel - Perseus (the latest)
Last installed app (think its somehow related) - JKAY Mod(+Delux Settings)
EDIT:
after disabling the option "Transparent status bar" in JKAY, the lock screen background changed to some green leaves now,
but still i'm unable to set other pic as the lockscreen background.
Please help
thanks !
someone please:angel:
another try
update:
the lock screen issue is handled by JKAY author for the time being
still having the problem with the icons
I'm pretty certain its using the stock AOSP lock screen, but the enable widgets option and add widgets screen are missing. If I long press on the one widget that's there (Lenovo's clock widget), the arrange widgets screen or whatever its called comes up, but there's only one widget on it (the clock) and no plus button. Is there any way I can force enable this? Something in build.prop, or maybe an xposed module (I have xposed framework installed)? This isn't a huge issue, the music and alarm widgets show up when their associated apps are being used, but it would be nice to replace the music and clock widgets with CyanogenMod cLock and Apollo (I copied the APKs off of another tablet running CM11 from /system/apps and installed them on the Lenovo, they work great so far even though its running the stock ROM), or be able to swipe through my emails and calendar events without unlocking the screen. I won't bother asking for a Cyanogen lock screen apk to replace the stock lock screen, since I searched through the system files and Google and can't find evidence that such a thing exists, but it would be awesome if it was floating around somewhere.
Has anyone else been experiencing issues with the Samsung themes not applying to their lock screen?
I apply the theme of choice (tried several) through the Samsung themes settings/app. The theme changes on the pull down menu, messages app, etc. but does not change the lock screen clock or music player controls. Some online research says others are experiencing the same thing. Has anyone here been having this issue and/or found a solution?
Thank you for your time!

Not having that issue here, do you have AOD turned on and a theme that theme's AOD.

.
Thank you for the reply!
AOD is on, but with a custom image (my signature).
Full setup is:
Nova launcher with icon pack
Custom wallpaper on home and lock screen
AOD on with custom image
Theme applied (should be changing clock and look of clock on lock screen but is not)
Thanks again!

I'll bet it's because of Nova Launcher and not using TW, just a thought..

If you apply a custom wallpaper to both home and lock screen it erases the theme home and lock screen images. I am using Nova and have no issues. Sometimes I just use a custom home and leave the stock lock screen from the Samsung theme.
The clock on the lock screen changes but my Pandora music player remains the same.
I had that issue with the batman theme. the AOD theme option would be there after i applied the theme but if i changed the AOD to a different design, the option for the one that comes with theme would disappear. only fix would be to re apply theme
This works for me as well, but oddly enough, when setting a live wallpaper (just for home screen), the clock goes back to stock.
So frustrating.
Hi guys! Is it possible to hide the clock from the lockscreen on a non-rooted device? Thanks!
Install "good lock" utility and then "lock star" module. you can hide whatever you want from lockscreen.
I am using a tablet. Good lock doesn't seem to work in album mode, doesn't really override the stock lockscreen (first I see my stock loscksreen and only after that Good Lock is loading) and I can't find the lock star module.
I have Galaxy Tab S3 and S4, currently S3 is on Android P and S4 on Q. I have downloaded "Fine lock" app. Downloaded all modules via this app(as it takes you the the compatible version of Android and module) and they are working fine. Howeever, "the latest version of lockstar" having some issue with Android Q, so I installed one step version version. And it is working as it supposed to be.
OK, I downloaded Fine Lock and managed to get it working, clean locking LockScreen as I wanted, but now I have an issue with wallpapers. Fine Lock's styles only support Portrait oriented wallpapers, and I am using my tablet mostly in album mode. Any suggestions how to get horizontal wallpaper display correctly on lockscreen in album mode?

I do not know which version of Android you are on. But On my S4 with Android Q, I can choose any wallper with "LockStar" and it works fine. . You can activate autorotate and it will turn automatically.Or just Turn your wallparer to lanscape orientation with Gallary app or any other photo editing app. and apply it.
