I updated to the latest version of Lineage Os and my speakers stopped working, the back speaker and the front speaker. I can't hear when people call me and also cannot listen to music on loudspeaker, but I can hear everything with headphones. A little hand anyone?
Bro,I think Phone is stucked in headphone mode.
Try putting on earphones And pulling them out Of headphone jack a multiple times your problem will be solved.
If not then try blowing air in the headphone jack a few times and it will definately work.
I have also faced such problem but I solved by this method!!

All of a sudden during a phone call the voice in the earpiece became demonic so I think I did a hard reset, since, no sound. Until it started working again. I had tried another fresh module I had in an electrostatic bag, but the headphone audio didn't work, so I put the original back in. Fast forward a day or two, now the headphone audio works in neither, and the earpiece doesn't work again. I'm wondering if this has any connection with the fact that I'm running unofficial CM12 with archi kernel and is not a hardware problem. The headphones are detected by both and the speaker works for both. What gives? :crying:

Hello!
I have a rather annoying issue with the headphone jack on my p9000, it is heavily distorted.
When i'm playing music through the headphone jack in my car, the sound is just awfull on this phone!
loud crackling noises and heavy distortion on all volumes, even though the audio "enhacements" that comes out of the box is disabled. I've tried with multiple other phones and cables and i only experience this problem with the elephone p9000.
Is it just me having this problem? if not, any ideas?

Hi.
Do you have stockrom?
If you have eragon, then you have ViperAudio. Take a look in it.
If you're on stockrom, then i can't help you.

Sent from my P9000 using XDA-Developers mobile app
I had to RMA because the microphone picked up loads of noise.

Running stock rom with root/busybox and xposed.
Do you think this might be a software issue?

My mic is just fine, it's the headphone jack that is having issues.

Hi.
Its worth a try.
On stockrom is everything way to silent.
With viperaudio you get other libs. And with it, an equalizer.

Since update to marshmallow, the audio jack can't be used anymore. Had similar problem last year but it was quickly solved by mutiple times of plugging in the earphones this time it seems dead.Tried different earphones, no luck. The sound still playing on the phone speakers and not through the earphones. Sometimes a certain earphone would have sound but only on one side. Should i flash previous firmware? im not sure if it was caused by the update or the hardware problem. Phone is not rooted btw. Tried cleaning the audio jack as well. Any help would be appreciated
Hello,
When I connect headphones I hear the music but the vocals are muffled - sound quality is overall just bad. Without headphones it works like it should. I tried few headphones. Also I tried different ROMS - GlobeROM and MoKee. It can't be Jack connector either, I have had it replaced. Any idea what could it be? Thank you in advance.
EDIT: every headphone tested works great in PC/other phone
