To relock the bootloader follow the following instructions:
Put your phone under the fastboot mode
enter the following commands: fastboot oem lock
Keep in mind that while your boot-loader is locked, you will not be able to root or flash ROMs to your phone.

Thanks. Yes I can unlock the bootloader again to gain root but I have read in unlock thread guide that relocking might have unknown results. Have you or anyone else tried relocking personally?

You should not re-lock you bootloader if you have root but if you are going to trade in your phone or sell it then you should definitely re-lock your bootloader after you flash a stock ROM.
Bump..... Anyone successfully relocked bootloader without any error and got rid of unlocked bootloader at startup?

As the title says, i have a phone which has "bootloader UNLOCK allowed:no" set. My phone is career free. Is there any way to change that to yes?
My phone is E5823 i'm on Firmware E5823_32.0.A.6.200_R4B_Australia Generic_1298-7260.
I need this to root my phone.
Normally it's not possible. If your device says bootloader UNLOCK allowed:no then there is little to no chance in unlocking the bootloader.

Go to about phone, tab your buildnumber ten times, congratulations you are now a developer.
Go to developer options, switch Enable OEM Unlock to yes.
Follow this: http://developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/unlock-yourboot-loader/
Congrats, you are now able to root.

Enabling OEM didn't do anything. Still unable to unlock bootloader.
Will using PRF Creator method help with this?

No, you could temp root your phone with ivory root on a .200 firmware. But on one hand it's an outdayded show floor lollipop firmware and on the other hand root is only present 'till you reboot your phone.
And then there are the security features by sony that prevent permanent root access. And these features can't be deactivated without an unlocked bootloader.
So in short you're **** outta luck...
Sry dude

This method will not work for him because he's not allowed in unlocking the bootloader in the first place.
So there is no stable and easy to use method to root a locked bootloader phone on 2016?

Yes, there is currently no method avalible.
I suggest to sell the phone and buy an unlockable phone.
Sounds like a carrier locked phone. Ask your carrier for the unlock code.

IS rebranding change bootloader unlock code ??
If you did it with funkyhuawei I think you are screwed. Read in the funky thread that rebranding changes something so fastboot can't read the imei correctly.

Already asked in the huawei thread if there is a solution.
Hope there is. Not intend to unlock again, because I tested all custom out there, but maybe I need to later.

Not yet tried, OEM Booloader unlock option is available.
I may lose all security options tied to it. Hence not yet rooted.
OEM bootloader unlock should enable the magic

Don't bother. He just reffers to 'OEM unlock' in developer options. But that doesn't do anything since we don't have fastboot. So in contrary to the OP, no, it won't 'enable the magic'
There is currently no known way to unlock the bootloader, let alone root the Oppo Find X.

Confusing thread, but please read the existing threads on this topic as there are a few.
You need to SIM unlock the phone before you can unlock its bootloader.
If you have the T-Mobile variant, check this thread to see if they can SIM unlock your phone:
[CLOSED][T-Mobile USA] Free SIM Unlocking Service - [OnePlus/Samsung/Google/LG/Moto]
Hello XDA, I am back at it again with the free T-Mobile network unlocks. Yep, you heard that right... 100% FREE. This service will allow you to go into your Settings and perform a network unlock. I've been doing this for over 3 years now with...

I haven't got a lot of time to get this out before heading out on a job, so here's the nitty gritty. A few days ago I flashed over "OnePlus_Nord_N10_5G_Metro_by_T-Mobile_OxygenOS_10.5.8" to get a clean start. I then allowed 10.5.14 to install...

No need to reboot, once you finish that, going into Developer options should allow you to set OEM Unlocking to whatever you want. Easy peasy.
If it is from T-Mobile, you'll need to go into bootloader to get the serial, unlock code, and IMEI to submit a ticket to Oneplus for an Unlock Token and then wait a week to get it.
You can skip all of that if it's direct from OnePlus - just toggle OEM unlocking in developer options then go into bootloader mode and 'fastboot oem unlock'.
