I've searched trough the forums for days now but was unable to find the right solution, so I'm in need of advices and guiding.
I recently got a Huawei Mediapad S7-301u, which I think is soft bricked. It keeps restarting over and over again. I'm able to enter only into fastboot mode I think. Tried to get into recovery mode without success. Text on device screen: Entering fastboot mode, press power for more than 10 seconds to restart.
When I connect it to my PC -running Win10- , fastboot devices command lists it. (Installed Minimal ADB and fastboot software found in the forums.)
I'd like to just get it working again, a stock ROM is okay. It doesn't matter if data is lost or not.
As far as I know it's an almost unused tab, probably been running 3.2JB on it.
If somebody could kindly write the detailed steps to make it work again or point me to a guide how to exactly do it, I'd be glad.
Hello all! I'm really sad...
I tried to download from Play Store the new app: Official TWRP App and...
I tried to update my recovery and ... boom!!! My phone has rebooted into fastboot and has remained so ever !!
If I try to restart it (also recovery mode) back into fastboot !!!! I am desperate!
On the fastboot mode I can not do anything
I tried reinstalling the TWRP, I get message FAILED
Unlock bootloader? I get message FAILED
Boot recovery? I get message FAILED
(the smartphone is detected in fastboot)
I do not really know what I can do :crying: can someone help me?
very very very... thanks!
Perhaps I realized that the app has lock me the bootloader
There is perhaps a way to unlock the bootloader mode?
Hello gentlemen,
I am a victim of Samsung latest update for the Galaxy S8 which made my phone being stuck in a reboot loop. The only solution seems to be a factory reset
I would really love to be able to backup my files first so I googled quite a while on how to do it.
I think it should work when booting the phone into recovery mode and then enable the ADB mode and then using adb from a PC to download files via USB.
My problem is:
I am in the recovery mode but as soon as I choose "Apply update from ADB" then I see a printout "stopping adbd..." and then the phone restarts (again into recovery mode). Is this expected? I was hoping to get in a mode where the phone is detected by the PC as a USB device so I can start using adb.
Any help is really appreciated!
After some hours of googling and reading it seems it actually is a problem and not intended.
I ended up flashing the previous version (AQL5) using Odin to see if it might help in any way. The flashing worked but then after booting the device complained about broken data and wanted a factory reset. So I did that
Bye bye my data... thanks Samsung...
Hello. I Factory reset my Mi A3 while in my Google account not through recovery. Now when I boot the phone I get an error saying unable to connect to wifi when phone is connected to wifi and the when I try to add my Google account I get a message the The Google servers are unavailable and try again later. I did some looking and tried a few suggestions on line, about deleting Google app caches and delete account and add account. I deleted the phone in my Google account in my desktop and can't add it again, I turned off two step verification...it's seems like the phone isn't behaving at all right. I can get into the phone and a message will tell me to finish setting up and when I tap the message I go to the start up page. The phone isn't currently rooted but the bootloader is unlocked.
Thank you in advance for reading this far, please any help is appreciated.
I haven't experienced that problem myself, but if you have already factory reset your phone, then why not download the stock rom and flash it? That would reinstall your OS and may solve the problem. Do it from Android SDK platform-tools. You will need to boot your phone into fastboot mode.
Download the stock MIUI firmware fastboot image from: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/laurel/
Then follow the guide here: https://www.thecustomdroid.com/xiaomi-mi-a3-stock-firmware-guide/
Thank you for your reply. I was thinking about that and wasn't sure if it would help. I will try that and let you know how it goes.

Well I have gone from bad to worse. Now stuck on fastboot screen and bootloader locked. Ugh!
If you google "mi a3 stuck on fastboot screen etc" you should get a couple of suggestions. Can you boot into recovery? Press the power key and the vol. up key at the same time. Keep holding until phone restarts, then release the power key and wait for the Recovery menu screen to appear.
Also did you read the Important Note at the bottom of the instructions?
If the device fails to boot into the OS and keeps bootlooping, connect it to the PC while in fastboot mode, and execute the following command:
.\fastboot set_active a

Thank you for you reply. I did see the instructions and tried the script while connected in fastboot mode. I tried the miui tool and relocked my device while and now I am in fastboot with locked bootloader. I was reading about EDL mode help however the first attempt came back unable to enter EDL because bootloader locked. I decided to step away for a few days to take a beat before going further.
Hello,
I have an LG G watch w100 that only boots to the LG logo. Initially I thought this to be a battery issue however it appears to be pulling correct power, and it also stays powered on while at recovery or fastboot screens. I do not know the entire story behind this as far as how it got to this point. I have been doing some research on here and other forums to figure out how to re flash it with stock firmware. Factory reset on the device does not do anything different. It recognizes in ADB when in "apply update from adb" mode. However I am having a gap of knowledge between this recognizing in ADB and me being able to restore it. I found a link to the original 6.0.1 software on here, but the video was using the round version of the watch. I have the MEC23G version, I saw a post here posting factory images but the link is dead. Not looking to root this by any means, just looking to get it working again. Any help greatly appreciated. I have tried to use the sideload command in ADB with the file I downloaded but it does not recognize that as correct syntax. I also cannot verify if usb debugging is on or off as the device cant boot fully. I have limited ADB experience .
Thank you in advance
