My G3 recently started having issues with WiFi disconnecting and not showing any available networks. This went on for a few weeks, then the phone started to restart itself occaisionally. Now it will not boot, shows the lg screen for a few seconds and restarts. During all this I tried several different ROMs, original ROM when this all started was XDABBEB's 3.1.1. Also tried XDABBEB's 47a Stock ROM and RR Rom. Nothing has worked so I read it might be the battery, ordered a new one that did not help. Is my phone dead or is there a possible fix, thank you for any suggestions.

Hi guys,
I just rooted my phone from 4.3 stock to Omega v21. I have been having wifi issues since upgrading to 4.3 official so I decided to root and flash custom ROM thinking it would help. The problem however, still remains.
The problem is that wifi will not switch on. The button itself moves but does nothing else. It has switched on a couple of times after manually rebooting over and over, and works for a few seconds then back to square one.
I have flashed the bootloader, modem, and ROM multiple times without any change. I have also opened the casing and lifted the gold antennas ever so slightly to no avail.
Any help will be much appreciated. Cheers!
So, i have an used xt910 with Carbonrom KK 4.4.4, Safestrap v3.72 and Stock ROM. I have been having problems with the network since two weeks ago. Sometimes it just runs out of network out of the blue (Vodafone), even though my roommate still gets full signal. Sometimes by just restarting it the network would come back. Last saturday i rebooted it but then it would not turn on anymore, entering in a very annoying boot loop. And when i could boot into Recovery, a little surprise: The touchscreen would not work. First i thought it might be a hardware problem, tried dissasembling it and everything but nothing worked. But then out of the blue, around three hours later it started working properly again. Ok so i thought it could be some kind of bug with the rom so i installed CM 11 (the nightly version from the 22.11.). But it was running slowly, compared to Carbonrom. And i did not want to go back to carbon so i installed the Dirty Unicorns rom that i found here. And then today when i started it i saw that i was out of network signal again! So i tried rebooting it but it started with that stupid boot loop. Right now it is working okay, but it is really annoying to always go through this. So i do not think it was a problem with carbonrom (i am newbie with it). Has anyone ever encountered this problem bzw how did you manage to fix it?
Thanks a lot in advance!
(sorry for my english xD)

Hi all... I'm in need of some help, please.
I recently flashed SkyDragon 3.01 LP on my vs985.. Seemed to work fine, but after having a few minor issues that bugged me, I decided to flash back to my old SkyDragon KK image that I had saved (I've restored this before, and it has worked fine).
When I flashed back, however, everything looks "normal" except that my phone is now stuck in a constant loop of 4G and Radio signal disconnecting and reconnecting every 5 seconds, or so (so both stay connected for 5 seconds, then both disconnect for 5 seconds). Wifi seems to work OK. It does this continuously.. I've tried restoring other images (including stock) that I have saved and they all restore fine except for this one major issue.
If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this, I would greatly appreciated it.
I tried searching around a bit, but couldn't find anything specific to this.. Forgive me if I didn't look hard enough.
Thanks in advance!

flash one of the KK modems
the new build likely put on an L modem, but the old build wasnt setup to take it off.
Thanks!! I'll give it a shot. Appreciate the quick response.
So my G3 started having issues a few weeks ago. I was rooted and running a debloated stock ROM (can't remember which). So the original issue that I had was the screen would freeze and slowly fade to black. I did some research and it sounded as if this was a hardware issue (maybe the digitizer). I put up with that for a few weeks and then my phone started to randomly turn off and restart. When the reboots started my phone only stays on for 5s - 30s then crashes and reboots. I had run the debloated ROM for ~ 8 months and never had a problem. I tried flashing a different ROM and soft bricked my phone, which led to me use LGFlashtool to KDZ/tot back to the stock 4.4.2 ROM. It is not a battery issue as I have tried other G3 batteries in my phone and it still crashes shortly after start up. I am currently sitting in the system recovery menu and have been for ~ 5min with no crashes or screen issues. Anybody have any ideas as to what might be the problem. I am going to try and use Flashtool again this evening, maybe it was a bad flash. Thanks
I haven't noticed any screen issues, but I am having a similar issue with the reboots. I have been running JasmineRom 9.0 since it was released in October with no problem. A couple of days ago, the phone started rebooting just sitting on my desk. Sometimes it would restart successfully, other times it would just turn off and require a battery pull to get it to reboot. Sometimes when I am using the phone it will lag, then freeze, and reboot.
I tried a clean wipe and reinstalling the rom, including an internal memory and SD format with no success. Finally I used KDZ to go back to 12B, and the problem persisted. Last night I used KDZ to go back to 10B, again with a full wipe, with no success. As a final effort, I'm going to TOT back to the official 10B (10B_03) and take the OTA update.
I can't think of any other options, but I will update with results.

If you have an aftermarket battery or purchased one online claiming to be oem, it could be the culprit.

I am using the original battery the phone came with. I can try to trade with someone tomorrow and see if that helps.
ok, here is what happened. im running fulmics rom on lg g3 vs985w, i tried to encrypt my phone for some oddly stupid reason...
well it never got past 0% it sat for hours, so i booted to twrp and wiped everything and flashed fulmics rom
it goes through the whole installation process and when it reboots it goes to right back to the encryption unsuccessful screen
