ZTE Concord II (Z730) hard bricked - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

ZTE Concord II (Z730) hard bricked
Phone was fully charged, gave error messages (don't recall details, but basically basic apps refused to work), was non-responsive -> turned phone off to get out of error messages, since then phone does not turn on
- tried 4 sec power button -> no response
- tried 30 sec power button -> no response
- tried 30 sec power button PLUS volume-up button -> no response
- plugging phone into charger does not activate charging indicator light
- plugging phone into windows computer activates 'new-device' sound, but phone does not show up in drive list
- took out battery and put back in, no changes in above attempts
Thank you very much for anyone who can help.

Phone won't turn on

I just tried to boot in to the boot loader by holding down the volume-down button while doing a reset from android (power button, tap reset) - I know it's not the right way but I was just trying it. Anyway, now my phone won't turn on. I've tried taking out the battery, putting it back in, booting to the boot loader by holding down volume-down and then holding down the power button, but I get no vibration, nothing. The screen just stays dark.
Orange light comes on when plugged in to charger. When I plug it in to my PC (Windows 7) I get a USB connect sound which is like three low notes in quick succession and then when I unplug I get the USB disconnect sound (higher note then low note).
Any ideas?
Phone is HTC Desire X in case it's not obvious by being posted in this thread.
Thanks
Try a longer press approx for 30 seconds

Nokia Lumia 920 not turn on after attempted update

Sorry for my bad english, i'm not fluent in this language, i'm using Google translate
Last night I was trying to update my Lumia 920, the phone did not have much battery, I put it to charge just before, just after I clicked "install updates" I stepped away from the phone and shortly after I returned, the phone was restarting automatically, appeared one home screen "Nokia" and then appeared the signal of charging (red battery in the middle of the screen when it charging when off)
Since then I can no longer connect, I took the charger but continued the infinite loop, nokia - red icon of charger - nokia - red icon of charger... not shut down the phone and insisted in the infinite loop
I tried using the [Power Button + Volume -] and nothing, just vibrated and turned on the phone and still in the loop
I tried using the [Power Button + Volume - + camera button and then release the power button after vibrate] and nothing, just vibrated and turned on the phone and still in the loop
I tried to use that "Nokia Recovery" software, but the computer did not recognize the phone, the phone is turned off and does not give a sign of life, not to be when I plug it into the outlet, it repeatedly flashing the screen "Nokia" and phone turn off, "Nokia" appears again (repeatedly in the loop) until I get him out of the charger
I left "charging" all night (with the screen flashing repeatedly) and insists in not turn on, the computer did not recognize, the device is switched off
Please someone tell me what I can do I'm grateful
(Note: new phone, just 2 weeks of use, I never fell down or anything)
did you try select "My phone does not start up or respond" (Meu telephone nao inicializa ou nao responde) in Nokia Software Recovery Tool?

Strange behavior after dropping the phone

I've just dropped my RN4 and the screen stopped to work (black screen with no backlight) but I could tell that the touch was working well as I've managed to pick up a call. I wanted to remove the SIM card from the tray so I turned the device off by pressing power button for approx. 15s. Then I wanted to back my data up and boot the device to transfer data to the PC however I was unable to - when I've tried to press the power button to turn it on, device vibrated once and is doing so repeatedly from then on (the cycle is: vibration - 10 s pause - vibration-.... you get it). After plugging it into PC it is discovered as unknown device only. Is it matter of broken screen only or some more serious problem?

lg v30 plus suddenly screen total blackout but phone is working

my lg v30 plus suddenly blackout but phone is working all calls notifications sounds are coming. there is no prior sign of any problem. nothing feels in darkness, battery disconnect and connect again no sign appear even of charging or logo or download mode etc. i reconnect the LCD cables but all in vain
any suggestions please
most important is that i charge my phone the battery is 32% and about after ten minutes i disconnect it not see what is the position and put it in my pocket after one hour i found the phone blank screen
Just now my V30 had its first total screen blackout. I logged on here prior to checking whether anything was working (tried hooking up USB-C charging and Qi charging; phone would have been on silent mode so I don't know if calls / notification were working, didn't bother checking any Bluetooth connections etc.).
Anyhow, the fix was long press volume down + power button for about 10 seconds. Power button alone wouldn't do it. Back in action.
tried button combination but nothing

Peloton screen will no longer boot

Hey everyone,
I have an issue with the bike tablet no longer turning on.
Previously, the bike wouldn’t boot past the P boot loader. I got it into fast boot with Power + Volume Up. There, I went to recovery. This presented a screen with an error robot and text “No command.” I powered the device off, planning to go back to fast boot and try something else, but now I can’t get the device to turn on.
I’ve tried
- holding the power button for extended periods of time
- holding the power button + volume up for an extended period of time
- directly connecting the power to the monitor
- unplugging for several hours to let batteries and capacitors drain
- using adb. Adb does not see the device, though windows device manager does recognize something is connected via usb
Ultimately, the screen is a large Android tablet so hoping someone could help out. Any suggestions?
