If there is something wrong with this phone, it's MIUI. Not able to use Now on Tap, Camera2 api...
Is there any possibility to port official CM13 for kenzo (snapdragon) to kate (special edition). Or can i just flash kenzo version?
Thanks..
Edit : You can unlock bootloader, flash twrp and install all roms from kenzo
Hello to all, right now on GB there are an offer for a Redmi Note 3 pro "international edition".
Now i have a doubt... Is this the same as "special edition"? Because it has band 20 (800mhz) but is reported to have android 5.1 (special edition have marshmallow).
So what phone is this?
There are only two versions of the Redmi Note 3.
One is Kenzo and the other is Kate.
Kate is the Special/International/Taiwanese Edition.
When it has Band 20, it's Kate.

Thank you for answer, i have heard somewhere that kate version is slightly bigger than kenzo but in the description of this international version measures are the same, maybe is an error of GB.
most likely an error, yes. If you check official sources, Kate is 2mm longer. It has also been confirmed by a variety of uses.
The phone was bought from China and has a lot of chinese apps inside. Some of the texts are still in chinese even after changing the language to english.
Is there a tool to load the US/UK version of ROM into mine?

You have all latest official ROM's here with flashing guide, choose correct model.
Do you have Snapdragon (Mido) or Mediatek (Nikel) variant?
Also what is your current firmware version?
Quick question!
Is my device Mido? May I flash custom roms for Note 4 Snapdragon?
I am asking because my phone have case which look like Note 4X (no screws on the bottom, 5 speaker's holes etc.. ), but in settings and on the box I can read that it is Note 4. It is version with: Snapdragon, 3Gb Ram and of course 5,5". I'm waitin to unlock bootloader so I want to be sure that I will not brick my phone after flashing RR or Lineage
So many versions.... Wtf Xiaomi
Please tell me it is Mido, I need custom rom
if its snapdragon it should be mido
and I have a Note 4X as well and in the settings it is also described as Redmi Note 4, so I guess it's normal

That Ez, just download CPU-Z app and you'll see if it's snapdragon Soc, that's Mido, and yeah, Roms are compatible.
So...
SD = Mido and MTK = Nikel?
I know that I have SD so everything is clear now
Thanks!

Hi,
Which firmware should I download and install for my Redmi Note 10 (Sunny) not Mojito? I know that Sunny is a global version and Mojito the Chinese version. But on the xiaomi download firmware site there is only Mojito mentioned https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/mojito/. I would not like to commit mistake choosing the wrong firmware. Do you have any experience at that point?
At all: should I do this if I have already installed the latest Havoc 4.9?
Sunny/Mojito is the same thing , Redmi Note 10 doesn't have a Chinese Version.
You should pick always the latest firmware but only if the developer/builder specifies it
Thanks!
