Does your Ebony Wood case make a pop noise like the case doesn't fit snug. I have that case on my phone with just the pre installed screen protector and in the bottom right corner the case isn't snug so if I put pressure on the phone it make a pop or click sound like it's moving in the case, I messaged 1p about this and they said it's cause I don't have the 3d screen protector I installed.
My question is does anyone have Ebony Wood case on their phone if yes, does it fit good without the 3d screen protector?
other than that & that really isn't a big deal the case look pretty good. it's the tightest case I ever had actually
Yup, not the ebony but another wood one and it creaks and pops
Edit: I have the 3d screen protector on. The creaking is the case. It did it when I didn't even have a screen protector on
Ebony wood case here with original screen protector, creeks too
No creaking here. Haven't used it since spigen came out.
It's not as snappy as day 1.. But for the thin case it is, made if wood.. I'm happy.
I'd imagine creaking would be to some degree normal as it is wood? Thin wood at that?

So, I got the seido protector and love it. The bottom right must have been JUST SLIGHTLY off because there is tiny bubble since the protector hits just off the surface of the touchscreen.
Anyone know how I could shift the protector a little so it would be 100% flush with the surface?
That said, its 100x better than the other invisibleshield (name?) that you see advertised.
I picked up the realook protector, and love it. it covers the screen perfectly (really) and looks and feels like the original glass. problem is the verizon high gloss tpu case i bought for the phone last weekend causes the edges of the protector to lift up when the case is squeezed even slightly.
is anyone using the amzer case with a protector? does this work better?

This made me lol. This is one of the only reasons I don't use a tpu case on my phones. I know the cheaper ones usually don't wrap as tightly and don't go over the bezel as much, making it so they don't touch the edges of the screen protector. I've never tried that one but from what I remember the Diztronic ones don't mess the protector up.
Saw another post with link to it, but here's a review of the case. It's not super bulky. But add enough protection for most

Just got one of these. My question is to pop the included screen protector off and just go with the one that came with the Nexus or peel that one off and go with the Supcase protector. I've read reviews of people suggesting both.
This is a durable feeling and looking case. I've always had UAG cases in the past but this one seemed to offer a little more protection.

I find a tempered glass screen protector under the plastic built-in one to be the best. It sits really flush this way and you can't see the halo in the glass screen protector because of the case.

If you do this, make sure you after you pop the built in screen protector off you scrape off the black adhesive that held it on or it will fuse to your screen protector and rip it off if you take off your case. Any small metal tool can be used but be careful not to scratch the case. After its removed you can use some qtips and a little bit of rubbing alcohol to clean any residual adhesive.
I didn't do this originally and my case was stuck to my screen protector for 2 months till I finally decided to try and force it off and it ruined my screen protector.
I'm going to keep my supplied screen protector on along with the case screen protector.

Good luck, sensitivity sucks!
No problems with sensitivity so far. I like the case. Little bulky but the phone feels safe.

The edges of the screen sometimes take a few tries to respond!
I have this case. Its fantastic for work. Its awfully bulky though! But, with that bulk you get great protection.
Its great if you need the protection. I typically remove the phone from the case when I'm home.

This is what I described doing in a different topic - used an X-Acto knife and it took about 10 minutes to get all the plastic protector's adhesive off, which I felt might stick or lift up the lip of their case on the actual screen protector I'm using.
However, I also found that the Supcase didn't sit perfectly flush on the Nexus 6 with my own screen protector after removing their plastic one - one longer side has a gap between the frame and my protected phone surface.
So, I am keeping this case as a backup, only.

Just got this case from EBay .I must say Dam good quality cases an holster love it..actually kind of like its design an fit better then Otterbox...feels more solid..
Had the case for a while its pretty good. Not a daily case for me as I switch when doing different jobs. It's actually kind of hard to get off that's a good thing for some people.
I've just had to return mine after using it for a few days. When taking pictures with the rear camera flash on, the flash and case don't work well together and the pictures are spoilt (first pic is with case, second without. You can see the tint that having the white case on causes). Disappointing as I have already had the screen break on me (first time ever!) and was happy of the extra protection that this case affords
For the most part I go naked with my N6. I am ordering one of these cases for when I go golfing and maybe some other activities where I want to have the best protection. I am keeping the supplied protector cause it will keep dust and water from getting on my phone. Which is, by the way, the reason I am going with this brand because most of the other "tough" cases don't have that.
How does this case fit around the speakers? Is it open letting dust in under the screen protector or are the speakers sealed?
They are open, dust can accumulate
I've been using mine for months now with no problems. only complaint is the camera port is long. Dust an small debris gets under screen protector, its slightly bulky but worth the protection. Both factory screen protector an case built-in on an notice a little touch sensitivity loss, but worth the protection! Add the fact that the N6 is water resistant an its damn near perfect!
Bought the fusion crystal case from Ringke:
GOOD:
- Completely transparent to show off Z5P's sexy back
- Grip is pretty solid
- Caps for both the headphone jack and the USB port provides additional protection for when you have that occasional dip in the pool.
- Looks premium; doesn't look cheap
- Has these four little bumpers at the back to prevent the case from being scratched when put on a flat surface
- Volume rocker and power rubbers can be easily pressed
- Scratch-resistant (so far)
- Comes with free screen protectors for both front and back
BAD:
- Fingerprint magnet (so you need to wash it after a hard day's use)
How is that and where did you get it from?
I have this one as well. Ordered from Amazon. Took forever to arrive, I think it is just becoming available. Very happy with it. Really zero complaints. Came with front and rear PET screen cover that work nicely to protect the back (didn't use it on the front, already had another screen protector). The insert said this was to prevent visual artifacts. It's a nice bonus.

didn't use the screen protectors as i also already have my front screen protector and i don't want to cover the glass effect at the back. the back protector was matte so it covers the mirror back and i've always used the back as a mirror.
when i put on the back protector is clear as i can still see the mirror, after removing the top layer sticker which is part (2) my back protector goes matte. i suddenly feel so disappointed. the matte back looks nice but i still prefer the mirror back. im struggling should i remove the back protector as it is a very good quality and when i stick it on theres very little bubble and easy to take out those bubble.

Really? The back tempered glass of Rignke removes the glass effect in the back side?
U should test with another screen protector like Nillkin or Rhidon
I also have this case. My Chrome z5p looks gorgeous in this. Quality
Transparent with 1 year

No it does not make the phone hotter
Too thick for my taste...

Got a scratch 1st day... And I have a too big gap at the back around the cam so dust comes in between the case and the phone. Annoying on a black phone... Good fit besides that

No it doesn't. I am using a Ringke case with the back screen protector now and it's a perfect mirror.
It's not actually a tempered glass screen protector it's a very thin layer that (supposedly) prevents a rainbow effect occurring if you use the Ringke case - but of course it also provides some protection as well.
No idea what this person did ... maybe they somehow forgot to remove the protective packaging?

Got mine yesterday, smoke black, and my pone looks great. You have to use the back cover and everything will work and look as intended. Good qualiy case but a bit pricy
This is the best case for z5p. Its not over protected, but just enough. Also fits perfect.
Huge fan of Ringke Fusion cases in general, as I used them on few of my past phones. I will go as far as saying this is probably the best case of this clear/hybrid type in general, beating even the Spigen Ultra Hybrid which is quite hyped case. I find Ringe Fusion extremely precisely built, with perfect cutouts, and also the button cover sections are very easy to press, and you perfectly feel the "click" underneath. One more thing I like, is that the surface is so gentle to wipe, and not sticky at all, like some kind of oleophobic coating for plastic is there. I'm using the smoke black version on my Z5P, and I love it, along with matt protector for back side which takes away some of the mirror effect, but also reduces smudges and dust visibility.

Catman Gold trim transparent case
Ordered on Jun 20th, shipped Jun 21st and delivered on Jul 11th
I was looking for a cheap transparent bumper protective case. I liked the idea that this case had a gold trim that would standout with most skins or the naked midnight black phone itself. I was suspicious that the gold trim would not look nearly as shiny metallic as in their advert pictures but I was dead wrong. Only time will tell if the gold trim cracks or peels. During my initial inspection it doesn't look like there is any way the gold can peal as it's completely embedded into the plastic.
The case was applied over a dBrand Mahogany skin but I suspect it would look even better with the midnight black naked OP5 or any black skin as it would help make the gold trim stand out even more. As can be seen in the attached pictures only the power and volume rocker buttons are covered by the case. That is where the case is thinnest and may wear out over time.
There appears to be plenty of room for the Orzly tempered glass screen protector that I've ordered as the lip of the case doesn't cover the 3D curved screen edge or the OnePlus factory applied screen protector. I'll add a comment about the Orzly tpsp when it's delivered. In general the cover is thin so hardly adds any bulk to the phone unlike the usual bumper cases I've used. In fact it looks so good I'm going to leave it on all the time, rather than just occasionally as I'd originally planned. Only time will tell if that will change.
The case doesn't interfere with any of the bottom ports (speaker, charger, headphone jack ... etc). The cover is every so slightly skewed around the back camera and flash holes but is only noticeable on close inspection rather than being an obstruction. The covers on the power and volume rockers are pleasantly non-intrusive. That is compared to my much more expensive Spigen bumper case on my previous phone.
This case also included a plastic screen protector that is tinted blue I assume to be anti-glare. I'll not be using that screen protector in lieu of the Orzly tpsp.

Wouldn't the transparent part of the case yellow over time?
I don't know, only time will tell. Any way it's only $8 USD so no big loss. Have you had yellowing with a clear case before?
looks cool,
i ordered the black version. should arive soon

Oh yea. With the Ringke fusion for my OPO. The borders were TPU I think, looked really dirty after about 2 months.
