Recently my data speeds have been about a 1/3 of what they normally are and its also unstable. Nothing had changed on my phone with the latest CM13 snapshot. I got tired of it and decided to try CM14.1 since it has become more stable since my trip to Lackland. Speeds still the same.
Is there anything I can do to get my speed back?
I have the DDR Hardware Glitch.

So I am running CM7 and I have been running since the first build, all of a sudden my speeds are not there. I am at less than 2 mbps where I used to be running 12+. I have changed the radio to both the m2 and m2.5 with no luck at all.
Things I have tired:
Wiping 3 times / Clearing cache 3 times and reloading newest version
Leave battery out of phone for an hour
Rebooting
Changing locations where I test (I am in a well covered 4g area)
Testing another persons phone with the same build at the same spot (they pulled down 18 mpbs)
I am out of ideas can anyone think of anything else.

Bump? Willing to take any ideas anyone!
i've noticed my speeds have gone down as well. and no matter what variation of radio/rom/kernal i try, the speeds just aren't as fast as they used to be.
i wonder if verizon's finally started throttling people who still have the old unlimited data.
Well one big factor is that finally the Dual Core/LTE phones are here. So those that did have unlimited data are FINALLY renewing and grabbing the latest device.
Also 3-8 phones currently being bought at Verizon are 4g, so that's another factor. It was only a matter of time before the speeds fall back to the same 4g as Sprint/AT&T
That is just my small thought/opinion.

Yup. Usually when your data speeds start slowing down all of the sudden, it's network side.
I've noticed my 4G speeds have suffered tremendously since switching to this phone. I was getting 15-20mbps on my Razr Maxx, but with this phone I'm seriously seeing 50 - 150 KBPS downloads from Google Play Store. It took 9 minutes to download Play Music, an <8mb file.
I saw this problem on Stock, on the debloated deodexed stock, and on Slim Bean. I've tried different recoveries, different kernels, different variations of installing the roms. Nothing seems to fix this problem.
I even got a new SIM card today in hopes that'd fix it. It didn't.
Does anyone have any ideas on what's going on with this? One thing I've noticed is that for some reason, when I first flash a rom, my phone chooses a speedtest.net server about 50 miles away, and when I go to change servers, the actual closest server is shown as the fourth farthest. I don't know what's going on, but it's a pain in the ass. I didn't pay for a slow phone and I know this phone shouldn't be suffering from any issues as it's a brand new device.
I haven't tried any of the stock roms but I do have this exact issue on the AOSP roms that I have tried.
Might be a good idea to call Verizon. If the phone is defective, you can hopefully flash back to stock and exchange it. I've heard a few complaints about slower LTE speeds, but yours are slow for 1x data.
I had that issue at first as well. I did a factory reset (for other reasons) and it seemed to resolve the issue for me.
I am not sure when/where/why, but since I switched to the roms based off the 3.17 OTA update, I have had no 1x Data on my EVO LTE. 3G/4G work fine, the HD Voice is great, but when I am outside of 3G range, I have no data connection whatsoever and the phone gives me data call failures almost nonstop.
I have tried flashing the latest radios, bootloader, etc but so far nothing has gotten my 1x data back. (though it is a bit tough to test. Is there a way to force 1X only on Sprint?)
Right now I am on the Sense 5 Y8 rom and while it is fantastic, I still want to get 1X back so I was wondering if formatting everything in Recovery, then running the latest RUU from HTC's site to hopefully restore/update everything in the phone would work.
That is the closest to force restoring the phone to default correct? Has anyone else had an issue similar to this?
I've been having an issue with my LTE connectivity and was wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same problem with their XT912 running CM 11-20140304. When I reboot my phone LTE works fine and doesn’t drop out, my network connection is pretty stable. However when I turn the data switch off to save battery, LTE will never reconnect and I have to reboot the phone to bring it back. I’ve tried connecting just to LTE and it kills all connection both data and cell service.
I've tried the following in hopes of correcting the issue. I booted into stock rom, wiped Dalvik+cache, got LTE connection on the stock rom, and booted back to CM 11 and the issue presisted. I then updated to CM 11-20140304 thinking that might do something, but it didn't. I been looking around and so far I haven't found much info, any ideas?
Installed LineageOS, latest nightly, on my Redmi Note 3 SE (kate). Unlocked bootloader. Flashed psy_man's latest firmware for the device at the same time.
Since switching to Lineage, I get very slow LTE download speeds - around 0.5Mbps. Upload speed is fine (maxes out around 5Mbps). On my iPhone 6S, sitting right next to the Note 3, I am getting normal speeds, connected to the same cell tower (16Mbps). Checked APN settings on the phone - everything is correct.
This did not occur when I was on MIUI, so I'm guessing switching to Lineage is the cause. Any ideas?

I rebooted a few times and the problem seems to have sorted itself out.
