I need help with google bypass on galaxy amp prime - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Ive looked every where on this this site and i cant find how to fix this at least not a outdated way i bought my friends old phone for $20 and it turned out it has google verification lock on it and this friend had blocked me after selling it and will not help i think he might have sold me a stolen phone or something to that nature i asked around to see if it was anybody's but this friend had moved from another state and nobody was claiming it so ive decided to keep it i just cant use it and im too broke rn to go buy another phone even if i only got this one for $20 please help me

Idk for sure that it will work, but you could try using Odin to reflash the stock firmware, which would likely get around it. Get the firmware from www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
I am giving you this suggestion in good faith that you have not yourself stolen this device. Good luck.

so i had a long post typed out and my browser decided to go back and delete it. long story short bricked my vibrant with gb bootloader and kies update and need to know if this -> http://droidangel.blogspot.com/2011/05/how-to-make-samsung-galaxy-s-download.html will work. please help and thanks to all especially woodrube and noob_in_need as they always have an answer in my posts.
Probably not. If you have a bootloader mismatch then you need a jtag flash.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using Tapatalk
You could try it. However like bfranklin said, when your bootloaders get messed up it usually takes a JTAG to get it resolved. Although that could fetch up to $40 or so you should have a fully functioning Vibrant again. Mobiletech JTAG service; http://mobiletechvideos.mybigcommerce.com/samsung-vibrant-jtag-brick-repair/

Ya. Unfortunately a jtag does seem to be in your future. Sucks. Sorry about that man. But one question. Why on earth were you using kies? It is known to brick devices.

well in my original post i explained it but it got erased lol i have a froyo odin file saved on my computer at home but im at my girlfriend and i was gettting non stop fcs on my phone and messaging apps and couldnt do anything. so i odined back to eclair but forgot i had gb bootloader and i tried to kies update. all went well till i got back up here and the phone "rebooted" and wouldnt do anything. i then knew immediately what i did and now it sucks haha guess a new phone is in my future i kind of wanted the sgs 2 so i might get it with sprint, i hate tmobiles data and i dont really get service anywhere in concord nh or my girlfriends house pittsfield nh no service at all. if i do get an new phone i may donate it to someone who wants it and can use it to develope etc with it. anyways thanks guys and also any way i can find a good site/store etc that wont rip me off in price or steal my phone? (im paranoid lol) and link/store name please?
I sent you a PM.
so there may still be hope for my vibrant. as a last resort i called tmobile customer care and explained that kies bricked my phone. the tmo rep told me hes had this conversation a few times and that if i call samsung and explain tt i got this phone used from a friend and updated with kies and it randomly bricked (we all know that it didnt really RANDOMLY brick...) that they MIGHT give me an out of warranty replacement and that i should try it before anything. also my dad says he would give me the 40 to get it replaced if i really want it and can wait a week or two, but if i cant fix it, get a replacement, or 40$ for jtag id be glad to send it to woodrube as hes helped me a ton, has been nice about helping with all the noob questions i had, and he asked politely for it while trying to help ill keep you posted and ill have an answer by friday ( 5 days) for ya woodrube. anyways thanks for the support guys helps alot to have some feedback
-Edit- so i called samsung and theyre gonna do an out of warranty software reflash. he said what happened was that the internet connection hiccupped while updating causing a bad flash. i went with it lol so sorry wood for now i cant send this phone but if i get a new phone and you still need it youll be first on my list.

*Bricked* Galaxy note, after wrong rom install

Hey guys, first post, first real major issue I've encountered well rooting a phablet.
I have a ATT galaxy note, yesterday I rooted it and installed the Saurom ROM, everything was a breeze, I decided to try out ICS, I accidentally installed Criskelo onto the device before finding out it wasn't okay for the ATT note.
It hung on installing the rom itself and so I removed the battery imagining I could just revert to Saurom til I found a new ICS rom. But after I interuppted the ROM from installing, I get NO POWER! No download mode, nothing whatsoever on the screen =[ I'm ultra sad, best solution I find for the note is possibly a USB jig but I don't know if it will bring me back from this...
ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED! I'm sitting here with a bricked note and a broken heart.
Don't be heartbroken just yet. This just happened to a friend of mine with his Note. I'm sending him your way. He's working today so I doubt he can get to you right away but I'm pretty sure he has the answer you need.

Have you tried accessing the phone with odin to see if it shows up there?
did you install CWM prior to flashing? try the three button combo to boot into recovery
did you backup prior to flashing ICS?

Some ROMs can damage the device's onboard flash. Surprisingly the Note is one of the few devices that you can actually physically break by flashing the wrong ROM.

You may need to contact mobile tech videos and get jtag unbricking service.
A bad flash happened to me in my first week of owning the phone so I was under the 30 day return policy with AT&T. I told them I was updating apps in the market, it got super hot, shut off, and would not power up.
They couldn't get it to turn on either, for obvious reasons, and they exchanged it no further questions asked. Hopefully your still in the return period.

I'm sorry to say you probably have a hard brick on your hands. There's more info in this thread. I did the same thing myself. studacris's answer is the only option, you'll need to send it to someone who can do a JTAG repair on it, or you need to hope it's under warranty and send it back to AT&T and tell them that it just plain broke.
All notes are under warranty from Samsung still. They are for a year of purchase date. note has not been out a year.
Normally when I've had a a phone brick on me or a friends phone when out of the 30 day period, I would call 611 and have them send me a phone and when I received the new one I would mail the bricked one. It wasn't a big issue since the phones have manufacture warranties. Now they opened a device support center near buy and you can go and get a new one that same day.

question for the OP's question, Samsung has that flash counter on the phone, I'm assuming with a bad flash like this it doesn't go up. But does it? And it if does, would Samsung be able to tell what happened? I know Samsung has a hard stance on flashers. To OP, I did the same thing, and I resorted to getting the JTAG thing done, the few places I've came across won't charge unless they can fix it. And they only charge like $50.
I tried jtag. Waste of money. They could not save my phone, plus they charged me $30 for looking at it.
Not to mention I lost out on my shipping.

The last resort is to try a Jig to force download mode. If that fails, you are done. You can look on your PC in the Device Manager. In there it will show you an "state" when you connect the device trying to get into Download Mode. Google that state. I am guessing you are getting the bad one which at this time is a device exchange.

Have you tried the alternate restore by Imnuts? If not I would give that a shot.
Did you use Casual on a S3 or did your coworker use Casual on an S3? If you used the Note 2 version of Causal on a S3 you are most likely screwed. You would have to send it to MobileTechVideos to be JTAG'ed for $60 which is better than buying a new phone.

say what? first of all you can make a jtag for like 2 bucks if you have the materials. or you can buy one on ebay for 5 bucks.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-Jig-Don...Phone_PDA_Cables_Adapters&hash=item51acb6eafd
but before that, are you able to get to download mode? if you are, use ODIN to flash stock rom. make sure you have all of the proper files.
if not, then get a jig.

A jig is NO WHERE NEAR the same thing as a JTAG as i have already stated many times in this sub forum and already corrected you on once. All a jig does is help you get in download mode when the phone doesn't respond to the regular ways of doing it. A JTAG is for when you hard brick your phone which is most likely what happened here.
Don't spread misinformation like that because it hurts the forums, especially when I have already corrected you once on it nicely. That does nothing but send people down a rabbit trail to purchase something that will do nothing for them unless they can't get to Download Mode. As long as you can get to Download you don't need a jig. A jig is in no way, shape, form, or fashion a JTAG and there is only one trustworthy person to JTAG your devices, that I know of, and that is the guy at MobileTechVideos.

If you hold down the volume down button the home button and the power button and you ARE ABLE to reach download mode you are not screwed at all....in the android development forum (as the person above me stated) there are two different ways to return stock....one has two files and the other has one file to flash back to stock through Odin...try both

Root - bypass Google confirmation screen?

Hey guys, I recently came into a Samsung galaxy s2 from work. The prolblem is the guy who gave it to me, gave it to me because he went to restore it and locked it up at a Google confirmation screen on setup and he doesn't remember the employees email used to set it up. He basically threw it on my desk and said if you can get it back running it's yours so I figured why not.
It's a Verizon model of some sort but without getting it up I've got no idea on the specifics. I downloaded odin but it's been a while using anything other than for Google branded devices and I'm not sure what files or Roms to download for this thing to even attempt rooting/cfw'ing without possibly bricking it out.
Any help would be appreciated, it's actually a nice little beater tablet to have.
Thanks in advance
I've already attempted googling for about a week+ with no luck

If you're asking how to bypass Factory Reset Protection, that is against the rules here. We can't discuss this topic here on this forum, sorry.

Thanks anyway guys

CAT S60 phone is FRP locked and won't accept correct google account

Hey guys,
So i've been looking quite a bit for a solution for this crap lock that google puts us through.
My girlfriend's father has given me his phone just to try and help him get out of this issue and since I already delt with an FRP lock before (found some side steps to bypass the lock on a Samsung S7 somethg for a friend) I thought it would be the same kind of deal here. Problem is that this phone is like a real alien and very few people actually buy it I guess. Thus not much info or ressources on the internet/forums so far.
The issue basically is that the phone is on FRP lock after a factory reset and my gf's father account is not working because phone tells us the password has been changed less than 24hrs ago. Thing is it's been a few weeks now and the phone has been off for some days and the message is still there preventing us to login. Yes the password and account credentials are correct.
Of course i've looked into the XDA forums and did find a guide for rooting and flashing back to stock, but this implies that you actually log into the phone and turn the dev mode ON, which i obviously can't do here.
I already have a bit of experience with android since I've been doing root and custom roms installations for a few years now, but this phone is kind of a weird thing on the market to be honest. Even finding a stock ROM for it is already a challenge in itself.
Any help or input appreciated, thanks.
Combination file
Have you tried flashing the combination file using Odin? Check out this guide on (combinationfirmware) dot com.. sorry it won't let me post a link. Go to that website
Other option. Go to ebay. People charge as low as $5 to install stock rom .. hope this helps.
