I currently am on RR and with Gapps Pico version. For some reason I now want the stock package. Can I directly flash the Stock package? Or do I have to flash RR again with this Stock package? Thank you for being good not feeling this too noob-y.

I used the instructions on the development page.. Root, wipe everything then flash cm7, then cm7 gapps, then wipe everything and flash ics passion 13.. But I have no gapps installed when I booted. Is there a gapps link I can flash or do I need to go back to stock and redo it all from scratch? Thx in advance guys!

I've tried that, then for some reason I get a boot loop.. Can I flash cm9 gapps? And if so do you have a link?
Hello guys, I am a newbie to this forum(been following it for a long time and finaaly decided to join)
Anyways,
I am using a rooted moto e with twrp 2.7.2.0.
My problem is that when I flash this stock rom flashable zip(optimised version)

it flashes fine.But after clean flashing this rom, when I try to flash PA Gapps it throws an error which says
"INSTALLATION FAILURE: PA GApps can only be installed on top of an existing
PA GApps installation. Since you are currently using another GApps package, you
will need to wipe (format) your system partition before installing PA GApps"
This is happening for this file pa_gapps-modular-mini-4.4.4-20141121-signed.
It worked fine with previous versions of PA Gapps.I have attached the log file below.
Please help.
Why are you flashing gapps on a ROM that already has the playstore?

Let me see flashing older gaaps versions. Yup i tried with an older version which is not gaaps 2.0
pa_gapps-modular-mini-4.4.4-20141110 and this worked. Maybe its a problem with latest gaaps package.

Flash the stock, install stock recovery just in case you have installed any custom kernel for CM13.

Make sure you backup all your data and then do a full wipe before installing OOS.
Hi i have a problem, when i install custom rom for example. rr 5.8.3 on 7.1.2 when i boot phone and i have screen welcome and i start configuration and this configuration crashed, i install with wipe, and i install new nitrogenos and i have the same situation. You might be using an outdated GApps package, as it is known to cause this issue. Try with the latest opengapps.

Yea i install old version gapps and i dont have any problems on 7.1.1, hmm then i must install new gapps if i check i will write

You can flash newer gapps from here.
OR
You can follow this guide on older gapps.

no need to flash it if there's nothing wrong
if there's something wrong, try to flash latest MIUI Beta firmware, you can find it in ROM section, and no need to flash it everytime you flash a new ROM, just flash it once and you're good to go
If i flash MIUI 9.6.5.0 through twrp, will The firmware be updated too? or do I have to flash firmware separately?
Firmware is included in miui rom zip.
Don't have to install it separately.

Cool and Recovery reverted back to stock mi recovery after i flashed miui from twrp. Is this normal?
Can I flash MIUI and keep TWRP?
