This is my zenwatch 2 screen, nothing works except this, the screen gets hot while in charge. Without charge it doesnt even work. What to do?

I started having problem charging the phone a couple weeks ago. Sometimes it charges just fine, but then sometimes it wouldn't charge at all even if it's pluged in the whole night. The top half of the phone gets pretty warm if it's plugged in. So I plugged it in last night and when I woke up this morning, the phone wouldn't turn on at all. I plugged in the charger again and it just shows the black and white battery symbol in the center repeatedly. Then when the phone get's hot, the screen just goes black. I tried to charge it with my computer but it's just the same. When I say it gets hot, only the top half of the phone gets hot, the battery feels fine. Could it be the mainboard or is it something software that I can still fix by myself? Someone please points me to the right direction. Thanks.
First I'd try a different battery, one that is known to be good. If that doesn't solve the problem, I'd take it to a service center to get it checked out and possibly replaced, assuming you are under contract and warranty.

I just got my phone repaired for a cracked screen. It was working fine until this morning. while i was driving home, i check my phone to see the time and when i touched it, it was hot and at low power. When i got home the phone was dead so i plugged it in to charge. Now the phone wont turn on but the LED light is on indicating its charging but theres no battery animation on the screen. Can somebody please help i need this PHONE! :crying:
I have Galaxy S plus, I know it is a pretty old device but still somehow sometimes i use it. It was turned off due to low battery. I left it for a charge. It got switched off during a phone call call. don't know if it was charged a bit or not. But now when I am Turing it on it is not turning up. and when i put it into charge it gets boot up onto lockscreen and shows 0% battery and turns off by it self and turns on again and again same thing happens. i would be thankful if anyone could help me out. I have recently noticed when charging my phone during the night that it seemingly randomly turns on the screen, goes bright and then shows the boot logo. After a few seconds it then shows the lock screen where I can enter my pin. It doesn't seem to actually reboot.
Does anyone have an idea about what is going on? Is it faulty, do I have a virus or something else maybe?

I have exactly the same issue.
Today I woke up and at the same time my phone was "rebooting" and ended up in lock screen, keyboard was showing.
And the phone had been on wall charger all the night.
It is really weird and I think it started to happen after the latest updates.
1- don't leave anything charging over night. The phone will get little charges to the battery to confirm it's 100%, thus reducing battery life. You may Google it.
2- have you updated without factory reset? If so, backup with native app and do it. Most problems disappear.

I'm having very weird issues with my LG G8X ThinQ. It started when I connected the phone to a car for AA, the phone shut down. When powering on again, the screen would flicker very slightly, barely noticable. and then shut down again. This would persist for a couple of minutes untill I noticed the screen didn't flicker anymore and the phone would resume operation. I also noticed the phone being very hot.
It also started happening when charging the phone wireless. Not during charge, but when starting or ending the charge. Also with regular wall charge, or any car model charge. Recently, the phone started showing these symptons out of the ordinary, wtihout any charge happening. Symptons are usually the same, high temps and flickering screen when rebooting. The phone did not slow down in perfomance noticeably.
I really love this phone, powerfull, nice battery, good screen. I really do not want discard it over something weird. I tried sending it in for repair twice but those companies are clueless and I got it back (after several weeks) with "there's nothing wrong".
Looking for help or advice on how to adress this problem.
