Good day,
Tomorow installing OTA 8.5.4.0 in REDMI NOTE 4 GLOBAL (3/32/Qualcomm) LTE-B20 after installing is WIFI / WLAN problem.
(OTA is GLOBAL STABLE 8.5.4.0.NCFMIED)
After installation, WIFI is still disconnected and connected (cycle loop).
The browser / email will start and after a while the WIFI will connect and disconnect.
Tested settings for 2.4 Ghz and two routers (STATIC and DHCP settings ) and problem is same
Devices not accepted STATIC IP adress (NETWORK_SELECTION_DISABLED_DHCP_FAILURE=1).
Boot Loader = LOCKED (waiting for unlock)
Any solution?

I had the problem of wifi in phone getting stuck at "obtaining ip address....." and then failing to connect and getting disabled.Restarts scan.process goes on the same without success.fxr wifi fix didn't work for me .In custom mod rom there is regulatory domain.But in official roms there is no such option.To fix this issue in official rom enable the use static ip and fill out the necessary ip address dns netmask.everything is easily available with your technical operator or check your adapter properties in alternate configuration
hello guys i have problem with wifi on my arnova 7g2 version 2.3.1 kernel version 2.6.32.27 build number 1.1.1.gingerbread.eng.root.20111213.114505
when i try to turn on wifi it says turning on and then says error and wifi mac adress is unavilable i tried to change multiple roms but no change
when i type dmesg in terminal line with wifi says

I am having a problem with wifi in all CM11 Kitkat Build , the same problem is when finish flashing Rom the wifi works for a bit until the phone detects Network (2g or 3g) . i tried putting the phone in airplane mode directly after booting so my wifi stays connected until i remove airplane mode . after it detects the network (MTN coverage) , the wifi will not search for wifi networks anymore !
i Had the same problem with CM10.2 & CM10.1 , Even though it works fine with every other Rom i tried ! (Like Liquidsmooth , AOKP , Evervolv ..etc)
i tried a clean install and every other solution but i had no luck

Interesting. I have same phone and same sw (hboot, radio, soff) and only one problem with wifi is, when i come to home, phone is not automaticaly connect to wifi, I must enter to wifi list of network
hi !. I have a problem with my wifi, when i am near to my router my s3 connects to network but when i'm 2 or 3 meters of distance the phone disconnects
S3 recognizes networks but can not connect when range more 3 meters
My s3 9300 -->android 4.3 --> with stock rom now (I9300XXUGND5_I9300VGFGNE1_VGF)
also i tried with the last firmware and nothing
I have done:
- change /etc/wifi folder
- Change Modem
- wipe data / factory reset
- reinstall firmware
- change rom
- change kernel
- change config to static IP in s3
- power saving Disable wifi ---> *#0011#
- Change config router to DHCP static
Have you checked for other matching ssid and channels in your area. They must all be different.

Failing that it could be the wifi module on its way out.

After flashing some ROM's I've lost my WLAN MAC Address. I know the address, but the phone just shows 02:00:00:00:00:00 under the WiFi Settings.
Bluetooth and mobile network are working fine. I flashed 6.9.22 via fastboot on the phone but that didn't worked.
Can anybody tell me where I can set the MAC Address manually or fixing it? The original MAC address is still shown under /sys/devices/soc.0/a000000.qcom,wcnss-wlan/wcnss_mac_addr

Same issue in here, After Flash Rom Global Dev 6.9.15 by fastboot then update OTA to 6.9.22 my wlan can't turn on, mac address & ip has lost, and 1 more issue is, my microphone didn't active for outgoing call, my phone has lost the main job!! "Telephone"
anyone can fix this please?
