Hi guys
I have tried repairing my baseband and IMEI using the EFS Recovery Guide but it keeps on saying my baseband is unknown. I have downloaded every edition of the MIUI firmware . I need to know which one to flash and how to fix it. I'm using XenonHD ( yes I deleted the assert code in the updater-script). Luckily my WiFi is working somehow.
Please assist in anyway possible

i bought a s3 GT-9300 in used.i knew nothing abt android world..the os was 4.1.2 so i upgraded to 4.3 {I9300XXUGMK7}. i belongs to pakistan.after that not registered on network but IME was ok.. i knew nothing so i Google it i found that its lock due to unofficial firmware which was for isreal i guess.
mean while i found that ariza patch can fix that problem.so i rooted and inserted ariza patch .after that my IME changed to null.so i decided to again install same I9300XXUGMK7.it backs my IME.after that i decided to downgrade to pakistan offical frameware from sam mobile.when i do that .it changes my ime to 0049.....so i againupgrade to 4.3(so it can take back my IME) and bring to repair man.he take handsome amount from me that is 35 USD..and he downgrade it 4.1.2 and changed everything that is build no scs etct.the pic are attched i found my cell rooted with cmw.(screenshot attched)
NOW the problem is he said i cant upgrade to 4.3 which is not released in pak officaly yet but whenever it will launched officially i cant upgrade it.i will only able to upgarde newer than 4.3(it mean year or more)
i am afraid of ariza patch .i downloaded official firmware for pak and i wants to install that but i am afraid that if i would that it will again corrupt my efs folder.and again i have to spend 30 USD.
NOW THE QUESTIONS ARE
CAN I ABLE TO GET RID OFF ARIZA PATCH AND INSTALL OFFICIAL FIRMWARE FOR PAKISTAN SO I CAN UPGRADE WHEN 4.3 LAUNCHED IN PAK BY KIES?
OR SHOULD I STOP AND DO LET IT GO AND USED 4.1.2.
(AFTER THIS I GOOGLE EVERYTHING THAT IS KERNAL IME EFS PID ODIN.AND GATHER SMART KNOWDLGE OF WHAT I HAVE DONE.
SO CAN ANYBODY GUIDE ME PLZ.)

If you update or flash a stock firmware you will break all the patches and unlock, if the handset is network locked..
There is no real solution to a broken efs folder apart from restoring a backup, from before it was broken.

Well .right now.no. i have valid ime .but when i try to uograde or downgardw it changes to 0049....

I am new in this forum so please don't hate.
I hade S3 with orginal branded system but it was very slow so i wanted to get orginal rom without branding. I gave my phone to my uncle and he roted it and instaled TWRP (teamwin), galaxy apps and namless rom. This rom is a custom room and it has a lot of problems like: sometimes camera isin't working, widgets are invisible, galaxy apps weren' working (so i made a mistake and deleted it and now other google apps like YT aren't working) and there are a lot of another bugs. I have Odin and orginal version of non branded system from SamMobile. My question is do I need to do unroot before pluging telephone to pc and using odin or this is unnessery? I am new in xda and I don't now much about programing and stuff like this. So please help me!!
I would not use the image file from SamMobile to repair this issue. If you give me your exact model and serial off the sticker under battery, I can get you the Service files you need to COMPLETELY fix your issues.
And NO, your not going to need to unroot the device if you use the Service Files. It will under it for you!

You can just flash the same rom over it to repair it.
You can flash with odin but im not 100% about debranding. If the phone is unlocked you should be ok using a btu (international) rom.
Make sure you know your efs version if you plan on flashing anything less than 4.3.
The answer to your question is no. You do not need to unroot but you WIll lose root.

The best way is to tell your uncle to restore stock firmware debloated.
Otherwise,find out your baseband version and model number and search xda for the CORRECT rom and flash it using ODIN.
There is an problem of imei no. in my fone. when ever change my rom imei no. changes nd then i hv to change it to its original. iam using cm12.1 it is very stable after a long time i flashed miui8 and after flashing i tried to change imei no. using mobileuncle tool it didnt restore my imei no. i also tried many ways to change it but didn't work. i figure it out that this is only occuring in 4.4.2 based roms even in my stock rom. plz help me asap i will appreciate it

I'm using Lenovo Z6 Lite . I tried installed MIUI rom and the IMEI got corrupted . So I did some research and i found Qmsl IMEI Tool v1.4 which I used it to rewrite the IMEI via DIAG MODE . So now the IMEI i correct but i just can't turn ON the MOBILE RADIO RECEIVER .
So did anyone encountered this kind of problems before?

it's the baseband version error i mean the baseband firmware that used in the rom is your problem i think.
try get back to official rom or change baseband firmware.

you need a backed up qcn from similar device to restore your phone
hello, i used sp flash tool on my poco x3 gt without knowing i needed to backup some files, and i lost imei and baseband.
i got nvcfg.bin and nvram.bin from a site and that helped me fix nv data corrupt
but i still have unknown baseband and null imei... i read on another forum about restoring qnc, modem files and flashing to stock rom, but will that fix the problem? i havent found qnc and modem files for poco x3 gt.
could someone share the files, or know i site i could get it?
