Hi All
I was upgrading the firmware to this , Screen does not turn on but when I connect to the computer , 6-7 drives are mounted and I can even browse the internal storage.
I can not get into recovery or bootloader. When connected to the computer , adb and fastboot also dont recognize the device. . Device is unlocked , S-off , Super CID and rooted with super su.
Any hope for this device ? I do have access to windows and linux computer.
PS : I used same firmware on another M7 and it worked fine so I dont believe firmware has any issue.
For the benefit of others, I am able to recover the device by using this tool.

The titel says it all , and I need some help. I can still go in recovery but adb won't recongize my HTC, but I can still find it in fastboot. I formatted the sdcard, so I have nothing on there. Help would be much appreciated.

Oh, trust me that's not your phone being bricked. You guys seriously need to know the correct vocabulary.
Bricking the phone: The phone's only use is to use it as a literal brick. It does not turn on, does not recover, does not charge, does not do anything and it can never be restored.
HOX+ can NOT be bricked unless you are S-Off'ed. Now that we got that out of the way,
you seem to understand that ADB is the solution here, that you need to sideload a rom, the question that you have is the adb does not recognize your phone, so follow these steps:
-Connect the phone using a different usb port, (basically thats the easiest thing), if its 2.0 then try 3.0 and vice versa.
-Restart your computer
-Restart your phone
-If you are on windows Vista and later, open start menu search for "cmd" then right click and run it as administrator, then you need to cd to your adb directory.
Code:
cd C:\Android\sdk\platform-tools
for example. then try adb devices.
Anyway hope you get it to work and have fun

The only thing I can do is use fastboot , thx for noticing that I know I need adb sideload If I look in devices on my PC I can see 'ONE' with a yellow triangle next to it ( so this means drivers) I downloaded my HTC drivers and I right clicked on the device and then update from PC , I go to the folder where I installed it and click on search and it says it can't find a driver for this device.
I also tried 4 different USB ports both 2.0 or 3.0 , no result. I also tried to install TWRP instead of cmw but on TWRP my touchscreen doesn't work while on cmw it does. So i went back and flashed my recovery to cmw again ( I tried version 2.6 - 2.7.0.1 , no result )
So my problem right now can be solved once my device can be recognized by my PC. (Have HTC maneger installed , also downloaded drivers formy phone , got fastboot and adb on my PC )
For anyone who knows thanks

Hmmm. I would say in the device manager right click on the one and uninstall. Then in fastboot mode unplug and replug the device, let it install fastboot again and then try if adb can read it now.

This has happened to my phone twice... fixed it the first time by using USB deview to remove all Android/HTC drivers, then reinstalled them with the HTC Sync installer. Couldn't get that to fix it last time though, so I tried another computer and it worked just fine. So my advice would be to find another computer and try it.

Hi all,
Please anyone help me!! I flashed 5.0.1. UB Team Roam few days back. My phone's all data lost I don't know how but it lost and even my phone. I want to downgrade but it even doesn't let me to do it. I can enter recovery mode as well download mode. But my phone is not recognized by windows (Its unknown device in device manager). Whenever I plug usb cable the popup comes that usb device has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it. I have tried all the possible mathod to get it recognize but I am failing everytime.
I have stock firmware downloaded 4.3 and odin ready but I could not flash it due to the problem. Some one on the XDA told me that the file system of Lollipop is different and that's why I am not able to do so, But I am unable to figure out the problem. Please help and suggest what to do...

Flashing a new rom will not remove old user data unless you formatted it completely.
Odin will work only in download mode and you need to right click > Run as Admin.
Enter download mode on your phone and connect your device to PC then flash the stock 4.3

Use mobile Odin until you get it fixed here >> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.mobileodin.pro << this will allow you to flash stock without using a pc.

Thanks for your valueable advice. I will try it today and will be back with result.
I done it but still the phone is not at all recognized
Hello!
I was trying to downgrade a Moto E XT1021 and I don't remember how but I ended with the phone stucked in the "bootloader unlocked" screen.
Tried to access the phone on the fastboot flash mode and I can get into the mode by pushing volume down and power on for a few seconds. The problem is that I'm not able to send command to the phone because adb or fastboot doesn't detect it.
The USB cable seems to be working because on the phone screen you can read USB connected and USB disconnected every time I connect or disconnect the cable.
My guess is that there's a problem with the drivers, I've tried everything, of course installing the MotorolaDeviceManager_2.5.4.exe was the first step and then I ended up trying adb-setup-1.4.3.exe and also adb-setup-1..3.exe with no luck. I'm using Windows 7 professional 64 bits.
Right now phone driver says: Android Composite ADB interface.
Hardware ID is USB\VID_22B8&PID_2E80
If I remove the driver the device with no driver says "fastboot condor S"
I want to install 4.4.4 on that phone.
What can I do?
Thanks!
I solved it

at least provide the solution if anyone comes wandering again with the same problem
I really don't know why it worked, but I had several folders with adb, fastboot and firmwares and ona of the folders with fastboot detected the phone, I tried the other folder and that version of fastboot didn't detected the device; really weird.
Same software, same dll's but in different hard drives, the one on the C drive worked and the one in the D drive didn't detect the phone.
As I said, really weird.
hi everyone i have a 10.1 " chinese tablet on an mtk6592 cpu with 3gb ram running marshmallow . i left it plugged into my windows 10 pc that was having issues with its modified xeon cpu . basically my daughter unplugged it from the pc used it then switched t off overnight next day it hangs on android screen and doesnt boot . adb doesnt see it so im assuming usb debugging is switched off . fastboot sees it but wont flash it.
when i boot it into recovery mode nd run a test it states it has a missing xbin file and 3 modified files but my daughter swerars she didnt root it or touch anything. now when i try to apply update from sd card it goes into the os on the tablet but doesnt list any files on the sd card . i have since swapped out the xeon for an old quadcore chip and reinstalled an os but went with linux mint . now i can only see the device in fastboot but not in adb and i get a mount error when i try to connect to pc in anything but fastboot mode . im no pro but im pretty competent on pcs but ive literally zero experience on android flashing etc all ive tried so far is from 3 weeks of reading forums online but im no closer to solving my problem does anyone have any ideas what i can do on a linux os . ps flashtool doesnt recognise it as connected either.

Did you install mtk usb drivers? If not, try to install it for SP Flash Tool to recognize your device. I also got the same problem before but installing mtk usb drivers solved it. It's worth a try. Hit thanks if it helped you.

Install SP flash tool, install mtk usb drivers, download the correct rom for your device. The zipped rom should come with a 'scatter file' when unzipped. Run sp flash tool as administrator load scatter file then when sp flash tool reads your device (you can see it at the boottom of sp flash tool window), click download and wait for it to finish. That should solve to bootloop. Hit thanks button if it helped you.
Hello, guys.
Recently, I've tried to root a Cubot Power 4G following a guide I found online. I probably should have been more catious about it, cause now the phone is stuck on a bootloop. I tried to install a custom recovery to try and fix this, but as there was no official twrp for Cubot, I once again downloaded something that was probably shady. Thus, now the phone is stuck on bootloop, won't access recovery mode, is now turned off because battery gave out, but if I try to connect it to the pc, it will start to bootloop again. I cannot access adb, or at the least I don't know a way to, since it keeps bootlooping and I have no way to access a recovery mode(since there's no one, or at the least, if there is, it's faulty). What can I do here?
@Giordyman
Re-flash phone's Stock ROM by means od MTK Flash Tool. You have to install the Mediatek VCOM drivers before on your Windows computer, if not done yet.

I did! Or so I think... The moment I connect it to the pc, it starts bootlooping and so the pc cannot actually connect there
Bootloop is a situation where you cannot get into the "normal" Android system. Take note that as soon Android logo is shown on phone's display Android kernel got successfully initialized, ADB & Fastboot are ready.
