Howdy,
I did not pay attention and connected key and key2 to the output of a CAN/SWC decoder.
From the decoder, I believe 1 wire was ground, the other a "key" output.
Since then the HU is not reacting to any key on the unit itself. I can boot into recovery and flash - but thats it.
So, I assume the misconnect of key1 and key2 broke something.
Anyone know where are the key inputs decoded? In other words, which part of the HU is the likely culprit? ... I would have to snend the HU to China for repair
Thanks
Oskar

Hello,
Today I bought YC-A300 adaptor and soon after unpacking I realized that the device doesn't work properly. It occurs that 2.5 mm jack socket has two lines swapped - left audio with microphone input. Obviously the attached headset doesn't work as a result. Despite of this, other sockets work fine (i.e. ext USB for charging, ext USB for audio and 3.5mm jack audio). I would like to emphasize that the device is original HTC product. To give you better idea of this fault see connection diagram below:
Standard 2.5 / 3.5mm jack:
1. (tip of the plug) Left audio
2. 1st ring - right audio
3. 2nd ring - microphone
4. common ground
My 2.5mm jack is connected like this:
1. (tip) mic input
2. right audio
3. left audio
4. ground
Due to this problem I have two questions - am I alone with this or someone else also experienced such issue? And the second - has anyone tried to open the case of this adaptor? Obviously I have warranty for this, but my internet supplier wants to wash hands of it and local HTC service center needs ages to check if they can repair this (lol). Normally I could wait for weeks/months and argue firstly with my supplier and later with service center, but I bought this device for about 10 Euro (I live in Eastern Europe so OEM prices are lower) and I don't think it's worth the effort to fight with them. Since I'm an electronic engineer I could try to repair it myself, but firstly I would like to know if there are issues with opening the case (it seems possible to brake it during opening).
Thanks in advance for any replies.
Hellow
I have Htc TyTn but recently the front buttons sometimes do not work
I move from 6.1 room to 6.5 but the problem has not fixed .
Is there any solution ?
.
i have a similar problem like you
replace flexible cable..it works for me..
Hi freind
which cable do you mean ?
Maybe it is only the flat cable issue, but sometimes the not working buttons is caused by the printed circuit board under the lower keyboard of the two (phone call start and stop, OK, windows and other keys ...).
If the problem is caused by that PCB, the keys not working is only the start of a nightmare that usually ends in an unusable phone...! That PCB is in charge of controlling the keys and the DISPLAY !!! When the PCB breakage will be complete, the keys will be not working and the display will remain completely white ! Try to google for WSOD (White screen of death).
Usually that board is named D-Pad PCB. If the cable replacement does not solve, try to replace the PCB.
What happens on the PCB ???? Exactly under the (- / OK) double button, aside the red key to close a phone call, there is a Programmable Logic Device chip produced by Xilinx. This chip has been programmed by HTC and used to control the keys and the display. As the PCB is very thin, pressing the keys, day by day, the chip gets desoldered. As the chip is a BGA it is quite impossible (very difficult) to resold it by hands!
Hi everybody
Sorry for my english, isn't my native language
For some problems on my radio i had to buy a main board to KGL on internet and they sent me one "new", but no was so, it was repaired unit and had some problems. so i claimed to paypal to help me and while i was waiting for the answer kgl tried to help me to repair the broken mainboard and sent me the material that i share here.
finally my problem was on TFT board (1 resistor died) and paypal refund me the money, and today i'm very happy because now i can listen MY music after 5 long months.
Maybe we can see something that can be improve to get a better radio(sound, signals, etc) and is easy track the routes with this software.
i tried to upload the software to open the pcb but i cant, so the program name is PADS9.5, try to download it from google

i call @Digo69 to explain us how to made the mod he told here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=67892872&postcount=464
thanks
@7floor take a look
i had been looking on pcb file the bluetooth mod and i think is no needed, take a look on yellow tracks, the radio has done the mod, the problem is the kind of jack for the micro because the original mic jack is a 3 pins, which 1º pin is groud, 2º pin is the mic for bluetooth and tracks go to c32 and c32 go to pin 4 on bluetooth module (pin 2 pic) and 3º is mic for system (pin 3 pic), i only can see two separated ways for sound inputs.
maybe c144 do some modification on bluetooth mic, because it's connected to c32 (jumper) pin 4 on bluetooth module and ground
we only have to use a 3 pin male jack (stereo) and use an aftermark mic usin pin 2 + and pin 3- pin1 no connected (only for bluetooth mic in) or pin 1 and 2+ and pin 3- for both mic in
what do you think?
look

Can you ask for them to send you schematics? These are board designs, somewhat useful.
Hi,
since i tested the reverse input for my camera the left front audio channel is not working anymore and the volume button is very very laggy.... (cable to speaker is ok) Has anyone any idea of a software failure in this case or should itry to replace some (what ????) hardware in my Pumpkin 11-RQ0370E / RK3188 unit ? I do not want to open a warranty call, cause the Malaysk 4.4.4 is working very fine and i dont want to risk to get a MTC / C or D Unit in exchange....

Sorry, typo... it' the right front channel.

Got it "repaired",
right door loudspeaker cabling jumped off from speaker, maybe i reassembled the door panel too rough, hehe ....
Guys, I have a px3 with rom malaysk 7.1, eonon ga8261, mcu www, that is kld (klyde). I do not have the front camera parking function even if I have the application, connecting the camera to the AV in socket does not work, and does not say that the unit is not set up ... So I purchased a module on aliexpress that goes to manage two cameras , rear and front, in a few words steals the reverse signal and when the reverse gear is removed it continues to send the reverse signal to the radio (but showing the front camera) it works, it costs little .. I have already installed but I have a problem, c 'it is a rustling in the speakers that depends on the signal wire coming out of the module and simulates the reverse signal .. I originally have the canbus and I cut the wire that goes from the canbus box to the radio, thus having the original reverse signal coming out from the canbus module and arrives at the camera module, then the thread of the trigger reverse signal that comes out of the module I connected it to the rest of the wire (reverse in) which goes to the radio .. In short I intercepted the reverse can signal bus and I deceived him through the module .. The problem is that so I have a noise disturbance in the speakers .. If I disconnect the reverse signal from the camera module that goes to the radio the noise stops .. Obviously reconnecting the reverse wire directly from the canbus module to the unit there is no disturbance .. It is possible that a signal arrives from the camera module that disturbs the unit .. I checked all the wiring and it is perfect .. The ground is all connected, I believe that from the canbus box the signal reverse is not +12 but maybe less .. Do you think this is the cause ?? I can put some resistance or capacitor according to you to solve .. The seller seems absent .. And it is a shame to lose this beautiful function .. Also because the alternative is to connect to the AV signal but the music does not play and every time you have to select in manual the application .. Thanks guys
