You can use "flashtool" to install a STOCK FTF (rom)
I think he's referring to a stock branded ROM (like the ones from Vodafonea Germany or Orange France that are available now ). If so, yes you can. Download and flash it with FlashTool. But maybe I misunderstood the question.
Well you can unbrand any phone, the bootloader however may be encrypted and not unlockable

i am very sorry for this newbie question, but i just bought this phone(Alcatel OT idol ultra 6033x) and it hasn´t czech language. Phone is for my girlfriend and she need that language.
Please can you help me ? I had HTC HD7 and HTC one V and i always found helpfull advice how to change the language on this forum but i din´t found how to change it on Alcatel 6033x so thats why i am making this new thread.
Language is not in the settings. Can the SW upgrade help ? I have also contacted Alcatel support but i still haven´t any respond from them.

I have got the same phone here in Czech republic with Czech language on board. So it seems that yours is from distribution for other countries.
Did you try Custom Locale from Google Play Store?
Yes, it should be some EU distribution, but i haven´t entered the sim card yet. GF has to go to carrier for cutting the SIMcard to microSIM
When the sim card is entered, the phone should set itself somehow by the region of the simcard. If this won´t help, i will try manualy set by #country code#. Today i founded code for my country finally.
so it doens´t work, the custom locale only could set keyboard to "czech" but settings and everything is in english, country code "works" the same way
when i root the phone, can i install there any czech localizated system or FW even if its EU distribution ?

HI everybody. I live in Italy, I have the 16GB variant of Xperia M4 Aqua (E2333) bought from Amazon.fr, SIM free.
Now I'm stuck with lollipop.
Last week was released the official MM update both in France (16GB variants) both in Italy (8GB) variants (16GB variants are not sold in Italy).
I received an email with the notification of the new software release, but if I check into settings/devicesinfo/softwareupdate no ota available.
If I connect my phone to Pc, Xperia companion says "up to date", also if I check via IMEI it says i have the latest software available.
I updated my phone several times since I bought it, minor updates, I received them almost instantly after the official rollout.
It seems strange to me. Anyone else facing this problem?

Still no update, not OTA, not through companion on windows

I've also noticed that all articles I've seen about the upgrade mention version 26.3.A.0.131, but for E2333 we need 26.3.B.0.131.

Hi im from Macedonia and i have this problem to i contacted sony support and they sad the update will arrrive for evry device at diffrent time it doesent depend on the contry or city that you live in they sad they are doing a roll out so it will arive for our phones as we get on row.

guys the only and the best solution for your problem is to flash the MM update with flashtool i will make it now

You are not the only one. I bought an E2333 from Amazon.fr, i live in Italy. Although in France E2333s have received update, and here in Italy 8GB versions too, i didn't saw anything...

Nope, nothing here... Sony Mobile FR says that they have released the update, but the delay isn't their fault, it depends by several factors...
We have only to wait.
Every day, twice a day I connect my phone to Pc and pray.. Uff
