my Honor 9 (STF-AL09) entered in bootloop after flashing SuperSU (v.2.82). I need to know the build number of my Honor 9 to can download and flash the right ROM.

-TWRP 3.1.1-1
- Bootloader Unlocked
Which region this honor 9vwas bought from?! (country, retailer)

So you have the European model, it's STF-L09C432B??? You need to remember what exact update you were on (b120 or b130...)
That's my problem I don't remember. I bought it the 20th July.
When arrived the b120 and b130 maybe I could find the right version. And is there a method to find the build number with Adb/Fastboot?

You can always download firmware finder from Google play so you will know for sure what firmware is the latest

Searching and downloading firmwares work, but updating via FF doesn't work now, Huawei locked this.

Possibly with HCU-client. Depends on if your firmware is patched or not.
Only way to find out is to use HCU... It cost $4 for bootloader code.

i'm on c432 and am told it wouldn't work so i am returning it for a brand new one, but you seem to be on a newer version so how did that work?

DC-unlocker works if you're on BLA-xxx C432 B142 or lower
i'm on 8.0.0.132(C782) C782 is a different region code
all mate 10 pro's purchased unlocked from carphone warehouse in the uk have this region code
the main region code for unlocked phones in europe is c432(as far as i can tell)

HCU/DC says it doesn't work any firmware on Oreo, but I can confirm it is working on B142.

Are you using HCU-client?
DC-unlocker doesn't work afaik. HCU-client is made by DC.
When firmware is patched HCU just says Unsupported model/chip

If it's on B142 yes, if B145 you can downgrade to B142. If B146+ you can't do anything because of updated bootloader that prevents downgrade to B145 or lower.
This assumes the shop hasn't updated it of course.

It should be fine then, mine came with B115, though I got it right after it released.

That I don't know. You can see if you find your firmware on androidhost.ru as that's where you find DLOAD firmware.

I did the rebrand of my Mate ALP-L29C636 for the L00C00 version. Due to some problems I had with the Chinese ROM I want to do the debrand. The bootloader is unlocked and I have the original oeminfo file. As I am in the latest version of EMUI 8.1 (xloader 02), do you think it is possible to do debrand using HWOTA? I appreciate if you can help me.

We have to wait that someone can figure out the rebrand method and make an easy guide or software to do this. I saw that it is possible just need the knowledge.

Method is and always was to flash oeminfo and firmware via dload. I have done 20+ times on 6X, v10, h8.
You need someone to share their oeminfo file and firmware via FF.

I have L21 global and seems my bootloader is unlocked but i am giving my phone to my brother and camt root as there is no code with me, i got this device unlocked only

You can also download the firmware via Firmware Finder.

I am using Mate 10 ALP-L29C636 in Pakistan, my phone is stuck in Pie 9.0.0.228 and not received 9.1 version till now. Anyone using the same can confirm whether it's me or others have been updated to 9.1.
What can be the possible problem.
I am also from Pakistan and i have c185 variant, my current software ver is 9.1.0. 320. Don't know about c636.

Try hisuite, remove your SIM card and connect to pc and open hisuite.
Or change country in hicare to any country for example UAE or Singapore or UK and check for update.
I am from Egypt and have L29C636,9.1.321
I also think so. As @hamadazh said, download HiSuite from Huawei official website, and then try to upgrade for your Mate 10.
I have received the OTA updates once I changed my sim, don't know how but now I am on 9.1.0.321 build.
