Hi. My orginal back camera with signature i9300 1.2 G has stuck lens and did't got focus,so i bought replacement camera to s3 but there is signature on it i9300VE. new camera sometimes working and sometimes not, now i'm on LOS 14.1 and it was warking for few weeklies but now with today update it don't working. I roll back to older weeklie build where camera work but now it not working.
anyone know where is the problem and what mean that signatures?

i recently updated to marshmallow and im a bit disappointed .
i thought it would make it noticeably faster. i changed the launcher to google now , turned off all animation , deleted and force stopped a bunch of apps.,
cleared cache , factory wiped marshmallow after update . dont know what else to do.
right now im playing two games , republique and dawnbringer.
dawnbringer takes about one minute 47seconds to load { takes about 40 seconds on my yoga 2 10.1 tablet }
and republique takes 46 seconds to load. { takes about the same time on my yoga 2 10.1 tablet }
if i change the rom to CyanogenMod 13.0 will these games load faster , mainly dawnbringer ???
is there any way to get dawnbringer to load faster ??
i installed CyanogenMod on a nook tablet before and it was a disaster, took quite a few months before the bugs were fixed { volume caused shutdown , etc.. }
im not hatin' on the phone im just curious if the CyanogenMod 13.0 will be a big enough noticeable difference , and if all the bugs are taken care of ????
is it worth it to sacrifice fingerprint scanner ??
also ive noticed this rom "Stock rooted version of the latest KIW-L24 B331 - Android 6.0.1 EMUI 4.0 Update"
does this rom offer the same performance of CyanogenMod 13.0 ???
Hi @towncarblue, I'm using EMUI 4.0 Marshamallow on my KIW-L22. The gaming performance is not good. The device heats up too much. I suggest you to go with CM13 because it is better optimised for our device.
whats the diffrence between cm13 and the "stock rooted debloated rom" ??
the "stock debloated rooted rom " appears to retain all the features , does it get rid of emui ???
CM13 is much better than stock ROM.
im doing some research on this site but im not sure what issues remain ??
so far i got this :
1- no fingerprint
2-camera hangs and sucks batttery like crazy if you do 2 hdr photos. Don't use hdr.
are there any other issues i should know about before i void my warranty ??/

can you provide information how is fingerprint working on the cm 13 i will like to know and instaall the cm13 to get rid of emui boring rom
REALLY... damn it, i just installed cm13 yesterday and then switched it to stock debloated because i missed the fingerprint scanner.
i checked the settings in cm13 and set up the fingerprint , then it had no option to use the fingerprint to unlock the phone. i just gave up.
if cm13 enables fingerprint LOCK SCREEN unlock let me know how to do it ???

Instruction in CM thread says that to avoid any issues, update to stock MM before flashing CM13 with FPS fix.

well.... i reinstalled stock rom, then reinstalled cm13.
got fingerprint working now. im pretty happy for now. i cant believe that cm13 update came out the same day after i had downloaded the 2016-07-19 .
i just have one more question...
i downloaded the "stock" version of gapps , will that hurt performance ???

My Le Max 2 became not able to work Camera AutoFocus suddenly.
But it can take photos.
Focus became rigid.
I entered android secret code *#*#34971539#*#* few days ago.
I wanted to see Detailed camera information.
But nothing happend when I entered that secret code.
Is it affected this situation?Was Camera firmware broken?Or was camera hardware broken?
I asked this issue at indian Le forum.
There is one who have met same issue.He also entered that code and his camera also became not able to work Autofocus.
He said"I updated the ROM to the leaked 829 US version and camera is ok again"
After that, I also tryed to flash 829 US ROM with wipes system,data,cache,dalvic.
But nothing changed...
My camera dosen't work Autofocus yet.
If camera firmware was broken when I entered that code, are there any way to fix it?
Do you know Where the camera firmware is?
Is the camera firmware in any phone's partitions?

* Update camera firmware in image (Don't try this option)
* Update camera firmware in SD card
* Get camera firmware version in LeEco Le Max 2
* Get firmware update count
WARNING: Never use the first option otherwise your phone camera will stop working and you'll need to take LeEco Le Max 2 to service center to reinstall camera firmware.
As above, you probably need to have LeEco repair it.

Hi, someone have problem with the autofocus with camera on nougat?
First, I was thinking was a hardware issue with the camera so I call sony customer service and they tell me that if don't have the ticket there's no warranty because I bought on Internet like eBay but here in Mexico my model it's E5803.
So last night I decide to root this little one and when I downgrade to 5.1.1 to backup the TA partition, when I was on 5.1.1 I open the camera and by miracle the camera autofocus fixed and works very well, then I update to 6.0 MM and still working but on some occasions the autofocus was a little slow compare to 5.1.1 but work
Finally I backup TA and unlock bootloader flashed last 7.0 nougat form E5823 and test the camera and the problem back again with the autofocus

I think those questions are not new but i not find up to date and really complete thread for this.
I want to run with lineageOS on my S9+ like my old OnePlus One.
I read many threads about camera. It use a closed software but with GCam port what fonctions are break ? aperture OK ? Gcam can run without google play service ?
Others features are breaks ? (i know for samsung software like knox, i mean hardware features like VoLTE)
On Lineage, i can use full encryption and after update OS with TWRP (twrp have no problem for decrypt phone and apply update ?)

Yes the camera works and the video recording..but definitely not as good and stable as the touchwiz stock camera...

well title says it all so i was on the hunt for some gcam apks to try out but cant get any of them to be installed on my SM-A310F which is running lineage 17.1 since a week ago. Has anyone found something that is working yet?
I would also accept suggestions for a proper cam app cause stock lineage cam doesnt work well for some reason.
sorry if this has been asked before but couldnt really find something targeted for Galaxy A3 (2016)
