Hello guys, i have installed xiaomi.eu rom recently. when i go updater app and tap to download ota it shows error 'no wifi connection found for stable downloading'. is there a way i can download this ota using mobile data.
By the way xiaomi.eu ota are really incremental or full rom?
Will, maybe you get a full stable version of update?

I had a similar issue with my Note 4 SD Global. I was on Global Stable 8.2.10.0 out of the box.
How I solved it...
Download the latest Developer Rom from HERE and make sure you transfer it to the DOWNLOAD folder on the phone.
It should now verify and install the Developer Rom. :good:

Thats what i was thinking, on previous versions updating to 7.2.16 works as i did on my note 4, but as you are saying updating to latest version ia working. Will try and update.
i also faced the same issue with my Redmi Note 4 SD, when I tried upgrading to global developer rom and first time when i selected the zip, it worked fine but gave warning that all my data will be deleted so I stopped the update to back up data. And when i tried to start update again from the updater app, it is giving me the same message: "Can't verify update package" error.
Anyone who can help?

Download again it will work for sure. One time downloaded file can only be used one time. Because the updater app is very sensitive.

thanks man! even though the file got decrypted after trying many times.
i successfully upgraded to developer ROM using the same file. So, the problem could be with Xiaomi servers.
It didn't work.

Once you decrypt the update package and if it didn't install you cannot share it or install it again through MIUI updater or TWRP you will have to download it again

As of now, not really [even though cardinal aosp says that they push updates via ota, but newer builds always need a clean flash]. But i guess lineage os 15.1 can get official in 2 or 3 months and lets just keep our fingers crossed for resurrection remix oreo.

Yes you can flash redwolf twrp recovery it provides Miui Ota updates on a custom recovery. I am currently using it and it's working absolutely fine. Search redwolf recovery on Google.
You can use mookee rom...they provide incremental updates of generally 20-50mb almost daily...bt u have to be a paid user... otherwise to get incremental ota zip...you have to download it from their website which is free...its of the same size i.e. 20-50mb only or you can also download the full zip package like other roms too...

Mokee and omni official.
Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk
Been looking for the same too. So sad seing we got so, so many custom rom but none support incremental ota. Even omni official which should support it doesn't have it yet.
Getting update everyday wouldn't be a problem anymore if we have incremental ota. Now need to download 500mb full rom every time ?

Hi,
Can you help me with the details on how do you perform incremental OTA with RedWolf? I can't get it done no matter what I try.
Thanks.
I am on MIUI Global Beta and just got a update of MIUI 8.4.24 SO should i go for update as i heard if i go for update while having rooted MIUI it can result in problem in system file and it will not boot.
Kindly help and confirm that should i take OTA or just ignore OTA.

The main problem is not root , if u are flashing ota you should have stock recovery . Sometime you can face bootloop while installing . If u want to install 8.4.24 just download from official mi site and flash it in twrp np .
I Want to update to stable last ver but i have root and various magisk modules, is there a way to update without losing these? Im On stable stock
flash this stock recovery of POCO.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1O64q5Ldd6KylC3zxlcKm39okFY_-Kjww
download the Update of MIUI ROM and install.
after you boot onto latest MIUI, you can flash TWRP from fastboot with cmd and install MAGISK again.(I also had an instance when i updated the same way but i had Magisk and all the modules active even after updating. Goodluck, though.)
Hit thanks if i helped.

Taking the title of the topic, I would like to clarify a doubt: I am in beta 9.1.24, as soon as they launch a new update of the miui beta, I update by the updater of the device? I lose the data or is it the same way it works in the stable updates?

Updating from beta to beta builds will not erase data. But, if you're a Stable user and try to install a beta build through MIUI stock recovery then your data will be erased.
There's no update in Oxygen Updater. I need it to return from EU ROM back to Global.
Have you checked oneplus.com? I found this link there: https://oxygenos.oneplus.net/OnePlusN10Oxygen_14.E.09_OTA_009_all_2101021731_9c32820c43e443f1.zip
Not sure if this is exactly what you mean.

If you're on a different version than what your phone was installed with, you won't get OTA updates.

I'm getting EU updates through system app. The problem is that I can't find download link for the latest global update, and the newest update I can download through Oxygen Updater is 10.5.9.

Its there now - flashed OK.
I noticed absolutely no difference from the EU 10 I had gotten from the Updater (by changing the device (temporally) , so am wondering why they just don't list it as Global 10 rather than 11.
