wasn't that a custom ROM problem? I swear I never had it in stock... Also there are people who managed to fix that bug on their G's with custom ROMs by flashing the B05 modem

Hmm strange I do not unlock the phone neither custom ROMs and root. I'm cleared stock since my beginning (Dec 2016) currently B05 and I have that issue since nougat as I remember. I tried downgrade (MM B10) and on mm I do not have any troubles.

For 99% - yes sure ! Because we allow have a2017g. Also I have a2017g from Germany distribution (Amazon) and currently on B05 Spain without any troubles (despite mic loudspeakers on/off)

Im not sure but i think battery life is improved a lot compared to b04-b05.
Most noticable is stand by time because it doesnt lose any procentage what so ever. Even in usage battery drops slower then before.

I'm having the same impression but really need to test more. I may also do a full reset...
For me it fixed many of my problems, so I don't need to factory reset my device now.
The Bluetooth Icon always showed a name of one connected device.
And more important.. My energy saving mode couldn't be en-/disabled anymore. The icon was always enabled.
After the update these bugs were gone.
I think a factory reset would have been sucessfully too..

Short Translation:
The B06 version mostly includes Bug Fixes for other countries (not Germany).
As it is not certified for Daydream we are not allowed to offer it, via OTA in Germany (and probably other Countries that have to have Daydream compatibility).
We are working on another version that will include many Improvements.
We can't offer any more Infos regarding that, at this time.
Currently I am using Germany version B04, can I flash this version B06 from B04.

I saw that the charging time is a little better 2h on BOG2 and 1h45 on BOI2. It's less buggy.

Me too. The WiFi is disconncting itself...
i haven't got this problem (i've flash my phone and do a Full Wipe before and after the Flash)
I haven't got any problems. I flashed without wipe and etc... I think it's more smoother and have little more battery life. And the other plus is: have a more animations. So I like BOI2 more than BOG2.

I've updated my GP. Try to full wipe your phone before first reboot. I had the same problem. The second time I updated the phone and straight after that I did full wipe. No problem with wifi.

I don't know if it works on g530H. I've got FZ model and it works good. Google samsung - firmwares site - I found it there. In description it says it's FZ model.

well you have to choose the one with the xxu in the baseband the latest one from Rusia is the one i used in my sm.g530h and it worked just fine no wifi problems or any other than i have found

i have a RK3188 with the Malaysk ROM. Now i updated Malaysk ROM and try to install TOMTOM GO. Everythings fine, but when i try to start tomtom it says, no connection to the internet. @wlan and @3G. is there any solution, any app that can allow tomtom go to the internet. all other apps works fine. @Malaysk
It worked for me with version 1.8.0 (not 1.9 or 1.8.2), after installing / uninstall / install again like 3-4 times
Btw, I tried that today with the latest rom. I had the same problem as you and found the solution by chance
but in the store is only the newest version. and is live traffic working? and there must be another solution.

Tomtom will not be able to connect to the Internet with any ROM with the newest kernel. Malaysk said when this first came up that the developers broke something in the kernel. I think that until now there is no solution except taking the older ROM. The newer Booroondook ROMs have the same problem.
I also contacted TomTom, but they have no solution for this problem... I hope someone can figure it out.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I was wrong.
I got the first day after some trials the "welcome screen" working instead of the "error of no internet".
I realized, I just copied the .db file that was originally in the copy of the folder that I made before installing the new ROM version, just in case something like this happened.
The problem is, now it keeps on waiting on the screen where it should show the menu. So far I can click on the introduction screens, choose if I want to send the information to Tomtom or not and in the next screen, it keeps on "thinking" the whole time.
I guess we will have no solution for this, my only solution it was to copy the original config.db file into the newly created tomtomgo folder but it doesn't seem to work propperly, although it is true, that step from the internet missing is already gone and I can access the initial screens of the application.
For me, going back to the version of 9th of september, best working for my unit.
All is strange. Because I was able to install TomTom Go on a rom with fuse. I know for sure because when i went to a fuse rom i had to do a full wipe. And i have a working TomTom Go on my device now. And from first fuse rom i only updated roms till latest version without wipe. But i installed TomTom Go 1.8.2 from a apk because i first make a Back-up before i wiped.

Android 5.0 is not so far for jy units. I hope that some problems gone. I must restart my unit 2-3x until 3G is working. And the tomtom problem.
it works allready with Malaysk (RK3188) on Pumpkin HU, but now with my new HU Joying doesn´t work. Hope we find a solution soon

It is the first version and yes, for me it works...
After installation, updated the rom as the messages appeared and still works. That is how is working for me.

That is what I do, too. Booroondook has a new base ROM out with new OTA updates. THAT Rom does not work (newer kernel).
With the latest just released Booroondook Rom Tomtom Go works perfectly.
Where can i find latest Boorondook Rom? Is it for all rk's?

The link is here (scroll down to the red text that says "Версия - от 30.03.2016", the mega link is below that.
It is for all RKs and resolutions. You download the .zip, decompress it, then run the ROM Builder application (start_eng.bat) to create the ROM for your specific RK/resolution.
So when I open the LG Bridge to update the g5 there is a version LGH85010DX I searched for the particular version on the internet but no news.The update is 2.78gb in size.So is it the supposed nougat update or just a regular update for bug fixes?

usually v10X (X for any letters) is Marshmallow,
when it's v20X, that's when you'll know it's Nougat, then v30X, Android O, it follows this pattern.
I had a G3, and it followed this pattern (v10 was KK, V20 was Lollipop, and V30 is Marshmallow)
Maybe this update is the final Marshmallow

There would be no reason to push that big of a marshmallow update and we recently got v10i.

Don't update, it probably has the latest security patch (ie, patches for a possible root).
I'd say just wait for the Noigat update, worth it

I think it would be a safe bet that the G5 will have Nougat by the end of November/mid December. LG have been quick with updates recently and need to save the.. "imo" uneccessarily bad press and sales of the G5. Its a very good handset, tarnished by the random quality issues..

You have to try this at your own risk.
I can unfortunately only recommend the things that I have also used when I have tested the ROM.
If the Ael kernel does not work, you have to use the recommended RAM kernel, or find another alternative.
Still try it and report back Only 5 minutes until the download is ready. : D

I usually reinstall my roms without stopping: D
I always find small bugs more or less annoying
Like:
Aurora v5: if i uninstall "baidu.map.location": no gps (why ? i dont know !)
Dragonrom v4: "maps" cause crash (on notification bar)
Cm14/lineageOS based rom: poor 3D performance (very poor in maps), google camera crash
With or without ael, ramkernel etc
At the "advantage" level: the aurora is very fluid with 3D in maps
download ready!!!

As for now i have tested my new TWRP flashable bootstack B06 and stocksystem B06 based on factory image B06 (Turkey)

I did check the info in non-hlos yesterday to see whether it has changed. Basically there are no changes made (although the file is some KB greater) . It's the same as B05.
Aamof only the N-B01 was different to the B02 which is the same as B04 and B05.

Edit: Flashed B06 but Magisk FC. Modules still working. Also tried latest Magisk beta, but also FC.
Maybe use SuperSU first and change after first boot to Magisk?
Switched back to B05 till i got time to figure out where the problem is.
Edit2: installed B06 + SuperSU, but i cant deinstall systemapps, because the command "adb reboot disemmcwp" still not working for me.
I hope your slim-version is coming soon, because i can deinstall systemapps with your rom. Not sure why my phone is this f*** up.
