Hi guys,
i have been searching the whole internet but i found no workable solution.
I have hard bricked my Vodafone Tablet Smart 4.
Current status:
- i put the charge cable into the tab, but nothing happens
- i can push any button, but nothing happens
I connected it with the computer and the computer recognized the tab as unknown device (yes, now i could install any driver, e.g. Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008) for 35 seconds (Debug Mode).
I have tested many possible software solutions (e.g. QcomDloader, Qualcomm Snapdragon Flash Tool, SP-Flash-Tool Version 3.*, 4.*, 5.*).
Now my question:
Is there any way to rewrite a new bootloader/ preloader partition on this tab? Or can i flash a new firmware directly to the Qualcomm CPU?
best regards
Olaf

Hi
I flashed the phone with invalid firmware using SP_Flash_Tool.
Now SP_Flash_Tool and Windows doesn't see the MT65xx Preloader USB device after disconnecting/reconnecting the battery.
The phone doesn't switch on.
Is possible to recover a preloader on MTK6577 (Zopo ZP 900) using the flex cables or other methods?
Thank you

Hey guys .. any solution ?
Lenovo A2107A-H, Dual SIM dead after SP-Flash
I stand in a row with you all, I also have killed my tablet with SP-Flash, It appears as Alcatel Single RNDIS Interface in Win7 control panel's network adaptors and in Win8.1 as "unknown device". I already uninstalled the drivers, the Win7 needed to reboot after that, but re-installed the same sh** after reconnecting. I have heard about another tool, not SP-Flash, which shall be able to "find" the tablet on the USB bus, but I don't remember the name.

I un-bricked my Lenovo P770 yesterday!
How to do this:
1) Download and install "MT6577 USB VCOM drivers" -drivers for your phone
2) Open Device manager in your computer. Then "View" and "Show hidden devices" (do not close Device manager)
3) connect your phone to PC by USB cable (without battery, some phone with battery)
4) In device manager, in Network adapter (in my situation, after few second) shows "Alcatel single rndis interface #. . ." - it can appears and disappears!
5) When "Alcatel single rndis interface #. . ." appears click on this device Update drivers->Browse my computer...->Let me pick.. and here you should see "Mt65xx Preloader" if not you should find your driver.
6) When you update this driver you could use Flashtool v3->loading scatter file (you can find your android on needrom website. for example: P770_ROW_S110_130204_707WOW) -> check only PRELOADER and click Download
then connect your phone again to USB (without or with battery) and wait some seconds.
GoodLuck!!!
You can control on needrom website
I have the same issue. mediatek S8 - mt6577 7inch tab
Hello,
*I have a problem with accessing phone PreLoader on Virtual COM port.*
I have NO PROBLEM with ADB driver and access. I can also access phone as a Device in Windows.
*But I want to create backup of my phone ROM.*
I want to read the ROM with SP Flash Tool to make backup.
(I cannot post links, so see full links in .txt file attached)
Phone: Alcatel IDOL One Touch Mini
Phone model code: 6012X
Full phone specs: gsmarena.com/alcatel_one_touch_idol_mini-5669.php
Chipset: Mediatek 6572
USB driver link page: developer.android.com/sdk/win-usb.html
Driver direct link: dl-ssl.google.com//android/repository/latest_usb_driver_windows.zip
OS: Windows 7, 64 bit
What I do:
------------
- I turn phone off. (Cannot remove battery - phone can not be opened=battery is not removaable)
- Connect to Windows
- Windows popup message for a device connected !
- Browse... choose driver for Win7,64bit,..... (only first time Windows wants driver)
- In Device Manager this device appear for a second, and then disappears: [PreLoader USB VCOM Port (COM_X)]
=== Result: Phone is not visible and cannot be accessed/shown in SP Flash Tool. Tried in versions 3.1224.01 (older)
and 3.1352.01 (newer interface).
What I tried to troubleshoot:
---------------------------------
- Used USBDeview.exe (64 bit), runned as administrator. Performed manual Uninstall for all old virtual COM ports.
- Tried another USB cable.
- Tried another USB port; Tried another USB port on another insernal USB hub; Tried on extranal USB hub.
- Tried another drivers, which I have found on fourms.
- Started Device Manager as admin, show hidden devices. Now I can see m phone as a light gray device.
Every time I plug phone, Windows creates a new VCOM port. I have to uninstall them manually with UsbDeview.
When I click properties on VCOM with/without currently phone attached windows says:
"Device status: Currently this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)".
See screenshot: postimg.org/image/o3h86dbzt/
- Googled many times for Code 45 but cannot solve this problem.
- Obviously windows can see MediaTek chipset at least for a while. Tried to connect on turned off phone. Or with
phone started in Recovery mode (Meta mode?) - Power+Volume up. No luck here too.
=== Result: Failed to succeed. Nothing of above can help.
Please, help!
hello everybody,
The phone in question:
K-Touch w689 owns a 4-inch QHD screen with 800*480 pixel display, Quad Core 1.2GHz processor, 512MB RAM, and 4GB storage. K-Touch w689 installs Android 4.0 OS.
Problem so far i was tring to root the phone with the cherry os rooting method and i made a serious mistake with this phone
I connected it to my laptop and was on the qopst mode "power + vol -" windows asked to format a disk and stupidly i did just that formatted the drive now the phone wont turn on with or without battery and when connected to a charger/laptop usb nothing on-screen
however when connecting to usb the following happens In device manager under (COM & LPT)
Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM 3)
Is there any way i can unbrick this phone and get it to boot up and make it live again?
P.S.I tried to reseach the issue online google, duck duck go and metacrawler however the results come out in several eastern languages i am unable to read, and in this forum it comes out with unrelated topics

Is there a way to recover an almost completely dead phone?
In my case, i made a mistake in dload mode and now the computer not recognizing the device in any way.
The software is dead, but when i plug it in to charge, the charging mechanism works. When i press the power button, there is current flowing to the phone for a few seconds.
I dissassabled the whole thing, and it has some pads on the board (12pins) can i reprogram this interface through it?

So there is one method with test point on mainboard in order to enable 9008 mode . Search on the internet if someone release testpoint for your device , if you can't find send me your full device model , and also one screenshot of mainboard.
I could not find any information about it
The device is NX510J
Some pictures about the board: available in cloud
I didn't find also for your device , but you can try this:
1. Unistall all drivers for your devices , you can also use USB Deview to unistall drivers if is invisible on Device Manager
2. Download USBDeview to unistall drivers what are not visible in Device Manager
32bit http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usbdeview.zip
64bit http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usbdeview-x64.zip
3. Use this driver one , in order to flash your phone with Qfil

4. Let your battery to dry for about 24 hours .

Its not helping, the pc cannot detect anything about the device. Not even a "pling" sound is heard from the pc on usb connect
mod edit - thread closed as per OP request
Hi guys, I bricked my RN3 (Snapdragon) today after flashing an incompatible file (probably), now it doesn't switch on nor go to the bootloader. Just the LED blinks red on connecting USB which means it is on EDL mode (right?) So, I've searched and found similar problems with recommendations of the tespoint method and the deep flash cable. But the problem is everyone sees that PC detects as a Qualcomm device either in Diagnostics mode or the other but mine shows up "Unknown USB device". What can I do from here? Please help
PS: I'm on Windows and driver signature is disabled only.
Reinstall drivers, try different pc
