for snapdragon 4mido you can not use root expore or its type. because it is only for MTK series. for snapdaragon you have to use QPTs so you can beckup mac dress you are error or damaged. result from beckup from QPTS can you edit through note + + or its type .. there are same lines that you need to change to be permanent

Hello,
I have an emei problem on my note 2 clone mtk6575
after searching and flashing and modding and learning , i have been able to boot android on this device after it got bricked while READING memory/nand from SP flash tool!!!
Now no emei , no baseband , and i do not even know were to start.
Tried mobile uncle tools, engineering mod , its says radio on , absent , but the AT command failed to send.
tried mtk droid tools , to restore my nvram.bin and .tar , and even to set the imei , its says pttycmd1 not found and nothing happens.
tried spflash tool , edited scatter file to enable nvram to show up , loaded the nvram image , but the spflash starts speaking about layouts , formatted , and used firmware upgrade mod , got an error , with no text string to explain.
tried to copy the nvram files from stock rom via adb , restarted , still the same.
logcat shows something about nvram like nvram not ready , nothing else , neither do dmesg.
the partition is mounted , or i wouldn't see the files under /data/nvram right? so mtd2 is not corrupted.
tried all the flashing tools , Maui META 3G , sn write tool , imei&sn writer .... all with the same issue:
the device goes into meta mode , and the cdc drivers are installed , detected and loaded with given virtual com port , but the utilities are all getting time out , they are sending commands to device but device is not answering , and the strange thing is i can adb shell to it , with aprox all stuff mounted , and no nothing in dmesg regarding modem , nvram , radio , usb ....
I have also tried a lot of other stuff , like copying my stock modem.img , resetting permissions under nvram , using write memory of SPFT to write the raw data of my stock nvram to nvram address ..... i do not know what i might be doing wrong as well as what i am exactly doing lol
I hope someone is actually having this issue or not but might be able to give a clue on what to do , since the past 2 month and thanks to the xda developpers forums and wikis i have diged into android, ported recoveries roms boot.img's , and just do not want to go for compiling kernels and building android from scratch yet...
Thanks in advance
I was not carful and I formatted my flash together with NVRAM information. Now I lost IME, Wireless MAC address and BT MAC address. If found a workaround for IMEI with AT commands but after restore the process needs to be repeated.
I found numerous programs that can recreate NVRAM information for MTK chipset but none of them are working for my Cube T8 plus. I guess it is a driver issue. I tried SN Write Rool, IMEIFix, MAUI Meta 3G and some other without success. They all fail on the second stage when T8 should wake from sleep.
SN Write Tool v2.1504 gives following output:
Searching preloader com port and handshake - OK as soon as I connected T8 which is shut down
Searching kernel com port and handshake - T8 gets stuck here, wakes from sleep and shows battery charging sometimes with META_MAUI_DB_INCONSISTENT or similar errors.
I tried 1.1_20151224 and 20160218 versions of firmware., with the same result.
When choosing the MD1 DB file, I tried both "BPLGUInfoCustomApp_MT6735_S00_MOLY_LR9_W1444_MD_LWTG_MP_V40_1_ltg_n" and " BPLGUInfoCustomApp_MT6735_S00_MOLY_LR9_W1444_MD_LWTG_MP_V40_1_lwg_n" with the same result.
I'm guessing that drivers are the problem. I can normally flash firmware but I guess for IMEI writing I'm missing something.
Drivers I used:
Driver_Auto_Installer_v1.1236.00.zip
MediaTek_USB_VCOM_drivers.zip
I tried on both windows 7 and windows 8.
If somebody managed to recover NVRAM information on Cube T8 using SN Write, please give me some info.
Cube T8 IMEI lost
Did you find away to get your INEI reinstalled on the Cube T8> Mine has gone as well
Hi, I have the solution you need mate
Always happy to help especially in such annoying thing you're experiencing. I had exactly the same thing, didn't notice I am downloading+formatting in the flash tool, lost everything, IMEI, MAC, everything!
Luckily, there's something that helps permanently (well, until you'll flash a new ROM which in that case you'll need to do it again). Only thing you must have knowledge with is with Xposed.
if you don't know what Xposed is, well my friend there's only that much of how I can help you
Follow the steps below to get your IMEI back:
1. Install Xposed (if you haven't done so regarless already)
2. Search and install the module called: Phone Id Changer
3. Activate the Phone Id Changer module and restart the tablet
4. You will now the App installed (Phone Id Changer)
5. Open the app, add your IMEI, MAC and everything else you'd like to add
6. Save Changes & Exit app
Voila, your problems solved.
Make sure to insert your IMEI and other details only, otherwise it is now allowed to do so.

Download a ROM that has image files that can be installed with the Mediatek FlashTool and that has an appropriate MT6795 "scatter" file, extract the files, and install as necessary with the Mediatek FlashTool. This may restore the nvram to default factory values.

It should work. If it doesn't work, then I have no other ideas.

OK thanks I'll try again with the latest fastboot ROM because the one I flashed was mui 6 .
But the strange thing is that even though I managed to get imei back with sn tool ( the barcode on the box) I also placed a random Mac address on sntool but still wifi unavailable
Hi, your only way to save your phone is SN_Write tool
Before you begin, copy your imei ( in the rear of phone ), generate a mac adress and do this guide

I think I seriously bricked my Redmi Note 4x. I accidentally flashed an mi a2 lite rom and I realise too lat. After reboot black screen, no mi logo and no way to access fastboot or something else. Device only recognised as Qualcomm QS-Downlader 900E on Windows. Using test points I am able to make recognised as
Qualcomm QS-Downlader 9800 But when I try to flash stock rom with MiFlash I can obtain error “cannot receive Hello packet, flash error”. I tried to flash with QFIL but in Qualcomm QS-Downlader 9800 mode, it gives me back Sahara error and in Qualcomm QS-Downlader 900E mode, it gives me error “cannot switch to edl mode”. Is there any way to bring back to life my device?
Hi, I can't help you with your problem but I recommend creating a Telegram account and joining Redmi Note 4 groups. You'll get answers to your questions much quicker there.

I have tried as you suggest but no reply found, just some question about what smartphone do or not do. I hope someone could help me. I think but I’m not sure that if edl works there will be a solution to flash rom again even in that hello packet error.
