Well, it's not like I want to use instant apps but this is frustrating me either way. When I open play store and go to settings and try to open "manage instat apps" play store just crashes and starts again with message, I'm on stock marshmallow, play services for instant apps version is 1.19
Here is log when it comes to crashing

I had to clean my Google play data due to 927 error code. I fixed the error, but now none of my apps are showing in the My Apps > Installed tab, is there any way to re-link my apps with Google play so that I get update alerts etc?
Hangouts and play store don't work + constant 'Google Play services have stopped".
Hello,
I am running CM12.1-20150604-NIGHTLY-m7 and I edited my build.prop and I messed up in it and it was stuck in a boot loop. So I reinstalled CM12.1 from TWRP and none of my GAPPS worked so I downloaded the lastest version and flashed it. After that still none of my apps worked so I went into Apps>All and disabled Google Services Framework. This allowed me to use every google app except for Hangouts which just crashed whenever I launch it, the Play Store which just says 'Check your connection and try again' and it always says 'Google Play Services has stopped'. I am able to use the Play store when I re-enable the Google Services Framework but every other google app says it has stopped working. I have cleared the cache several times and it never worked.
I hope I have provided enough info for you amazing people to help me fix my problem, thanks!
Hello,
is it possible that Google Play Services crash the Phone Setting application.
After I flash open_gapps-arm64-6.0 -pico-20170521 to my Android phone (Android 6.0.1), I was not able to running Phone Settings. I managed to run Google Store. But Google Play Services stop working and resume working.
I touch Setting, it crashes with error message saying "Unfortunately Settings stop working."
Because Setting is not working, I am not able to clean cache of Google Play Services as most of what the trouble shooting suggests.
Did anyone experience the same thing as I did? Is there a fix?
thanks

On my new Moto G5 plus, I started getting a [DF-DFERH-01] error when searching on Google Play Store. A quick search showed this was a common problem among different phones. I traced the problem to the latest upgrade of Google Play Store version from 7.0.17 to 8.5.39. The fix is to disable auto-update and uninstall Google Play Store updates back to factory version.
To turn auto-updates on or off, follow these steps:
Open Google Play Store.
Tap the hamburger icon (three horizontal lines) on the top-left.
Tap Settings.
Tap Auto-update apps.
To disable automatic app updates, select Do not auto-update apps.
To uninstall updates for Google Play Store, go to Settings > Apps and notifications > Google Play Store > '...' menu > Uninstall Updates
(instructions may vary slightly between versions)
Even with auto-update off, my Google Play Store app was updated back to verison 8.5.39. I expect to eventually have problems again.
I'm using a OP5T with rooted OOS.
I'm encountering a problem where tapping URLs in certain apps (Boost for Reddit, FB Messenger, Tapatalk, etc) won't open my Chrome browser, but will take me back to my launcher with the "Google Play Store has stopped"
I have quadruple-checked that Chrome is set as the default link handler, have denied Play Store from opening any URLs that arent play.google.com, cleared cache/data, rebooted etc, but the error still persists.
I've found people having a similar issue, but in their instances it was them being taken to a Play Store listing for shady software instead of the correct URL (due to malware). In my case, it seems like the phone is trying to go to PS instead of Chrome, then crashing PS when it can't complete the request.
Any ideas?
