I've just switched over from an iPhone and I'm sorely missing the tweak InstaSave which allows me to save Instagram photos posted by other people. I have been trying to find for a similar tweak/app for Android but to no success.
Can anyone point me to a similar tweak/app if it exists or be kind enough to develop one? Thanks in advance!

I guess we have the same idea, but I still have my iPhone 5 jailbroken and can't let it go mainly for any android phone because of the tweaks. As much as I love android I wish they had the same type of tweaks for apps as cydia does.

If it isn't in Settings > Developer Options then I don't think you'll have any options. I know the settings you are looking for are in that section, but do not know if it is 4.1.2 compatible or only for newer firmwares.

Yea, the Tab 3 looks decent, but definitely not Samsung's best work. Depending on which variant of the Tab 3 you have, it might be possible to update it with a custom rom, but some versions have locked bootloaders which means you're just kind of out of luck until Samsung decides to put out an update (don't hold your breath...)

Think you're kind of out of luck then. There are some 4.2.2 ports from the t110 that they have working on the t210 with a few little issues, but nothing for the T211 that I could find.

He has a build for the t211 which isn't complete, but the bugs listed aren't serious, so might be worth a try? Worst case you can just restore a nandroid and get back to normal. That or in that forum too there is a kernel for 4.1.2 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2439564 Might have some performance improvements that could be helpful.

thanx Budy for your help i will give Gtools a try then i will consider applying the custom rom if i decided to keep the crappy t211 and not selling it
i will post here after i try Gtools (God Willing)
i have tried Gtools the first copy in the thread "Gtools.apk"
it worked with MSAA 4X and 16X and now the broken edges "jagged" have been reduced a lot b4 using Gtools:good:
thanx budy a lot for the help and if u found any stable rom plz inform me to try it :good::good:
Good deal! At least a step in the right direction. But I don't have the tablet and only know a bit about it because I rooted and installed a custom rom for a customer with the t210r. You'll just have to check the Galaxy Tab 3 forum here on XDA once in awhile. Someone posted in the General section the other day that they were trying to work on something for it.

OK, I wonder how many would like to weed through Note 8.0 topics to get through Galaxy Note 8 topic info?
Right now the Galaxy Note 8.0 is becoming or is the Galaxy Note 8 thread. So please feel free to check out topics waiting for you peeps and are just sitting there.
Samsung screwed the pooch with bad naming convention for two diff products from different times. Christ almighty!
Mods just don't care... maybe if Sony and Apple peeps started posting topics in this area, mods would wake up.
OK, now you all can say go away hoser! Off with you, and get a real phone!
The fact that you're posting here for US to read means that WE are not the one's confused about which is the correct device forum. Posting this here for us to see is quite pointless because we aren't the one's posting in the 8.0 forum....DUH
I went over there and saw one thread about the Note 8.
I'm just astonished about what the OP has in his signature. I'm surprised your last meal was not explained in detail

None the less peeps who own them think they are Note 8 or Note 8.0. Can't wait for them to brick their Note8 devices flashing Note 8.0 custom kernel or firmware.

Hi, I'm looking into the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 via T-Mobile and would like to know if it can be rooted before purchase. I have not seen much information on it. Thank you.

I suspect that it won't be much different that the problems developers ran into with the S7 series. We will probably get a stock root but unless someone figures out the kernel issue and the unlocked bootloader we will be in the same boat.

As of right now, no. But the S8+ has root and the Note 8 is very similar.

Or the other way around.
My main goal is to get my a3 twrp backup and restore it on my note 7(so free stock android.). I can see the chance of the hard brick i would get, so i am asking.
And, can i use note 7 roms on a3? Because a3 seems to have no development for some of my fav roms.
Sorry if this belonged to redmi note 7 forums, if it did please tell me and i will move it.
Thanks in advance.

From this point of view, all phones are pretty much the same, with small differences.
But to answer your question, no, it's not possible.

No, these 2 phones have pretty much the same hardware, like they took one and changed some bits to make the other one. Thats why i said they are pretty much the same.
Thanks for the answer.

Apart from CPU, GPU, display, memory type, camera sensors/lenses and fingerprint sensor..yeah, they're pretty much the same.
