Hi experts of the internet, recent i have update my Z3 Compact from KitKat to 5.0.2 Lollipop using Sony Flash Tools and XperiFirm_4.5_(by_Igor_Eisberg). But before that my tablet was rooted by flashing xda Advanced Stock kernel (TWRP) & root for unlocked bootloader.
So now after updating i have lost my root functions and Supersu binary, so im wondering if there's anyway to re-root my tablet? Perhaps a newer twrp recover? It would be great if anyone can guide me on this as im lost without my root capabilities.
Unlock bootloader first, then use flashboot to flash TWRP file, then install Preroot rom and SuperSU from TWRP.

Hi hagalah, so where do i find this preroot rom and supersu? Also which twrp file are we talking about? The same one provided on the thread Advanced Stock kernel (TWRP)? Or another twrp file?
If so i just unlock the bootloader, use flash tools to flash twrp and then install the preroot rom and supersu using the twrp recovery?
Sorry im still kinda new in rooting.

Should be the same. Just get the correct ftf and ROM for your device model.

Hey Guys,
I checked now the Forum over a few Hours and noticed the Guides to root.
What I found is:
1. Downgrade to 4.4.4 + Wrong Software from D6603 to get Root.
2. Backup of TA
3. Unlock Bootloader
4. Flash a PreRooted Firmware
5. Reinstall the Keys
But I only find everyting for 4.4.4. Is there any PreRooted 5.0.2 with TWRP and Co. which I can use?
PS: Sorry for asking, but Rooting Tablet is way harder then Mobile.
If you already rooted on 4.4.4, then just install prerooted rom for the upgrade. Or you can flash lollipop ftf using flashtool for the upgrade. then unlock bootloader, flash TWRP, then install prerooted rom and SuperSU. You can find the steps on the other tread.

What is the model of the device? Be more specific how are we supposed to help when all you've said is that you need to root a device...
use Kingroot latest version. I just did it on my GF4. Then if you want to switch to custom recovery, just create it yourself by MTK Droid Toos.
I am trying to unlock my boot loader for my moto e2, phone and it says that it is not qualified, Its is a Verizon prepaid with LTE, and its model number is XT1528. Someone tell me how to do it without Motorola website. Thanks.

What version of Xposed should I be running? I looked at the website, and they're at 80, but I don't know if that is the right one.
