Hello!
I have Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and not so long ago bought Note 3. What is a better and less painful way to go from Note 2 to Note 3? Is somebody have some experience? Can you share?
I mean how to transfer apps, sms, etc? Everything possible?
Thank you very much!
Get Helium. That can backup your apps + the data associated to the apps and SMS/MMS. I used it to migrate from galaxy s3 to galaxy note3. Pretty painless and does not require rooting the phone. You just need a windows or mac desktop.

Oneplus 3 was launched on June 15th and Hit the market on the same day with a great specs and whooping 6GB RAM. All the tech showcased the product on Youtube asking if this is a Flagship killer of 2016? So what do you think ?
Today C4ETech has shared a video on Youtube showing a Speed test between OnePlus 3 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge but from the video we see that the Oneplus 3 is stuck in a awkward situation where the OnePlus 3 Could not compete with the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge which comes with 4GB of RAM. The video is to open all the application both on OnePlus 3 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge together in two rounds using the timer. But what we see is that the OnePlus reloads every application which has opened in the first round But Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge was very quick and didn't even reload the heavy game like Asphalt.
In the first round Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge was very quick, it finished the test in one minute and one second, whereas the OnePlus 3 was 10 seconds slower at one minute and 11 seconds. With the second round, OnePlus 3 showed a lot of differences from the earlier round. The Galaxy S7 Edge has passed the 2nd round with 33 seconds by opening the same background apps which opened in the first round, while the Oneplus 3 took 1 minute and 10 seconds where it failed to open all the application which was in the background and it couldn't even keep a web page in Chrome.

Those are my toughts:
The biggest mistake made by Samsung was from the begining. Notes were always THE FLAGSHIP of Samsung. Best processor/ best internal memory/best ram/ best camera.
This year Samsung has a big succes with S7 series and they considered that with Note 7 they done enough with 64 gb internal and better s-pen and waterproofing. Note series was always innovating. Now it's just a little upgrade from S7E.
I still consider Note 7 the best phone atm and I'm searching for a replacement of the "safe" N7 and I can't find anything.
What do you think about this?

Any idea on how to use S Pen on S9/S9+? I am Ok to use even a similar one.

Likely not an option. The screen doesn't have the corresponding technology to receive S-Pen input. Note 8, Chromebook Pro/Plus, and probably the S Tab 3 use a technology in the screen as well as the pen.
Thank you for the update. But are there any other options not necessarily S Pen?
I am using the galaxy s9 plus and if I add an activity using nova launcher, under Samsung DeX there is an activity called s pen input mode, calls on com.android.launcher3.settings.SPenInputModePrefer enceActivity, and when activated pops up permission denied. Maybe there is some sort of hope?

Hi!
I'm an artist and recently bought an s9 because my s7 broke.
My husband loves having the newest phone and bought a note 9 and I must say I was very jealous of his SPen... even though a note 9 is not practical for me because it's too large!
He bought me a stylus from Amazon. Works great!

Which one is it, do you know? I want one so bad that works with the S9+
There are a number of styluses that would work, but they won't be as responsive as those that come with the Note series.
The note series phones have a piece behind the lcd that picks up the stylus from the bite series. It's physical hardware and software that allows them to work as good as they do.

I like the new design, maybe too weird for now but still looking good
I like the design, what I'm personally disappointed in, especially where they've made the 2 models so close in size, is that they didn't go larger on the Pro version... instead of 6.7"...go for the gusto... especially where is older folks, like to read our Newspaper subscription's on our phones...make it 6.9" like the possibly extinct, Note Plus...
Or you know what, lead instead of following, make the Pro version 7 inches...

Supply issues might be at work causing problems here. It's not just chips, it's everything that gets shipped to and from major ports overseas, and snowballs from there. I'm tempering my expectations for every new product everywhere.

I get the want big but at some point, You just have to get the hell off the phone and goto a lappy, tablet or DT. It's always a trade-off between readability and portability. I'm ok with portable.

What to expect from pixel 6, will it bring some new useful features?
Does Magisk work on the Pixel 6.
Just kidding... Lol
Google Pixel 6 is powered by the company’s new custom-built chip Google Tensor. i am waiting of october 19 for launch google pixel 6.
Crediblebh
i have had every pixel in the series. More recently my wife is now on the a series. She had the 3a and i just got her the 5a. I myself have the 5 but i only got the 5 because i had the 4 which was a great phone but i work in a job to forces me to wear a mask all day so i needed the fingerprint reader. I decided to go with the pixel 6 and not the pro for now. if i like the 6 and tensor is all they say it is then in a few months i will get a pro and give my wife the 6. and make the 5a a backup. It is always a good idea to have a backup. especially because i don't always have the money to put up to get a replacement right away.
Hey does anyone know what type of fingerprint reader is in the 6? Is it optical or ultra sonic? I assume optical

Is pixel 6 root procedure already out?
Hello all and thanks for all your great suggestions and ideas in advance. I am a Pixel 2 XL owner and recently I got the Pixel 6.
In the past in order to unlock the "hotspot" wireless tethering functionality all I needed to do was:
Root the device (Android 11 | Pixel 2 XL)
Edit the "net.tethering.noprovisioning=true"
Done,
Sure there is a need to install an editor e.g.; builddrop editor app, that will allow making the change on the Android 11 OS.
I come to the forum with the question, what will be the requirement for the new Pixel 6 with Android 12?
Thank you very much in advance.
