I ordered late (Sept 4) but others who have ordered later already have a phone.
I ordered a Verizon Note 8 in Orchid Gray through BB online. My stupid order still shows nothing different from when I first ordered. I live in Illinois, if it matters.
I don't even have a status bar like your screenshot. Mine just says pre-order when I do track order.
Mine won't even ship before the 21st of Sept. :crying:
I don't know of any outlet for the Note 8 in Australia that will get it any earlier, so our entire continent feels your pain.
Ordered and paid for mine on the first day of pre-order in Indonesia, 8th September. Samsung website said delivery on the 28th September. Got a message yesterday saying probably on the 8th October!!! After pushing them on this, was told between the 28th Sep and 8th Oct. As I live in the middle of nowhere, I'll probably have to wait until the 8th Oct :crying::crying::crying:
Bit upsetting as I paid in full on the 8th Sep.

This was tmobile tho. I was waiting on samsung but they never updated my order so cancel and went with tmobile.
Plus you order blue and i was told blue is going to be a hard color to find.

Can't be upset?? I wouldn't be, if Samsung had not told me I would be first to get the phone as a way to make up for note 7(yes I have a screen shot). Add to that today is my shipping day, and no shipping is happening (have email confirmation on that date as well). Also paid extra for next day shipping which looks like that won't happen either.
So yeah a little upset for Samsung lying to me.

Wow crazy on some of these delays. I pre-ordered from AT&T on the 1st and got it on the 6th. I was shocked how AT&T was actually fast because the original date was for this week and didn't have much hope for them actually meeting that date.

Mine has always looked like that but the first dot was highlighted until tonight. I'm not sure why you don't have this image though.

thats probably the day THEY receive it. legally they cant give it to you until the 19th.
Does your order status from BB say that the case and phone are backordered? I hope I didn't preorder it too late to where I'll be delayed in receiving mine longer than the earlier orders.

Sometimes our computers show two dates. One is listed as an in-stock date, and the other is listed as a street date. This is commonly set to prevent someone from selling a phone/game/anything earlier than intended by the manufacturer.

I was just wondering if the other BB preorders are currently showing the same backordered status as mine is. There's about a one-week window where people have been placing their orders (my order being on the latter end), so it's not out of the question that BB has ran out of their allotment for their initial shipments.
I can also understand how since these are preorders (and therefore not in stock), that BB would therefore indicate the status of the item as on backorder until they're allowed to ship them out on or around the 17th.
Either way, I'm fine with whatever the outcome is and am not expecting any magical early shipment.

I wasn't responding to your post and I wasn't being sarcastic. BB and AT&T made it pretty clear when the phone would be shipped/sold. I wouldn't expect any email after the order confirmation until it ships or is canceled from lack of funds.
It actually isn't unheard of for preorders to ship/arrive a day or two early.

I will be mad as **** if it's not there first thing in the morning but knowing my luck I will get there 11am and some guy who knows nothing about the phone will come from a long night of drinking and partying and not know what the hell I'm talking about I say the best thing to do is call Saturday before closing and try to confirm that they got the shipment because if it ain't there Saturday night it ain't gonna magically appear overnight lol

I have a question for you guys that got the phone from AT&T. If you ordered online (preorder or just order), how long did it take to change from processing to shipped? Mine has been saying processing for over a week and when I call they said it will probably take 21 days. What????

I ordered mine on Friday, after normal business hours, so I was really giving them until tonight before I got concerned to change their shipping status away from "Pending."
Checking my credit-card, I can see a pending charge for the phone. If it's really going to take 21 days, I'm seriously thinking of telling AT&T to cancel the order, or I'll have my bank refuse the charge.

Yeah thats what i was thinking, but sadly you can't buy the phone with no contract in the store. So this is the only way for me. Also they dont even have the 64 gb in the store so...I'm outa luck.

Nooo!!! I ordered the 64 on friday too I really don't want to wait that long.
Mine changed the next day. But I ordered the 16th and received the 19th. 64GB as well.

preordered my 64GB one through the premier store on the 4th, shipped on the 16th and arrived on the 18th.
Currently have the 32 GB one which I plan to return. I did order the 64 GB on Monday (online premier) and it also only shows "processing".
Just an update: I called and found out that the phone is backordered and will ship within 14 days. I asked why it doesn't say that or they didn't contact me, and they said they're not "required" to. Nice job AT&T. Nice job.
I'm in the same boat. 64gb ordered last Friday. Maybe this is good anyway. New stock might have the fit and finish issues worked out. Yeah I'm pissed too, but at least there might be an upside!

The reps told me the exact same thing, but i think it also depends on the warehouse if it got its shipment in, reps told me max of 3 days of waiting yesterday when i called

Yes i got an email saying my order has been shipped, But around 2 hrs after att's order site updated. Mine is being shipped via USPS

I think they are running out on at&t web site too so it might just take a couple days, yes it sucks but what can you do. I ordered when it showed up as available for purchase (I was waiting). I called just now and they said it's showing as backordered, but that my ETA was 4/4 - 4/15.
If I can find it somewhere else, I'll cancel and re-order, but I'm not expecting anyone else to be faster. I wish I could get the Verizon one without their service and just unlock it (I'm extremely impatient..)
Edit: in the AT&T orders thread people are receiving theirs already or have it shipped. I went ahead and ordered from there as well. I will cancel whichever doesn't ship first.
The Verizon phones are already SIM unlocked outta the box. I believe allnof their phones are but only H+ compatible. No LTE

Not on my still shows the same I log in to my best buy account a few times a day hoping to see a ship confirmation but find nothing but disappointment. I thought about calling them again and complaining about it because I think the best buy web site still has the phone for purchase so why is that if they still have not shipped mine from 3-25-14 at 3pm est ???? Maybe they might discount my price or throw something in but they dont really seem to care when you call as they offer to cancel your order like I really want to do that and end up biting my tongue because I feel that they should not be selling the phones if they dont even have them...

The verizon ones have lte frequencies that I do believe only work for verizon, at least not for at&t, Tmobile or Sprint. I think they work internationally possibly though. The thing about verizon phones is though that verizon wont let htc dev unlock your bootloader, so for the verizon model you wont get root until someone figures out s-off for the htc m8 which I think it may not be long before someone does it sounds like the devs are close to cracking it, once they do you can root the verizon model also. Another reason to hate big red other then them being a holes about everything especially not competing with prices of other networks, hopefully it will be their downfall and they will get taken over by a company with business sense and not a company that wants to squeeze evey penny out of you that they can and think they deserve it...

I just called BB and they told me that it was back ordered, they said if it does not come back in stock by April 8th then they would automatically cancel my order. He did say that they are expecting it to come back in stock by April 8. It would be nice if I didn't have to call them to find out that it was back ordered.

When I got my order confirmation on the 29th it said: "Estimated arrival date: April 3 - April 15"
I hate to start another waiting room thread, but I stumbled across a few articles wherein Samsung commits to every preorder being delivered by 9/14. Here's one:

Just a recent news story to provoke thoughtful discussion on a somewhat hot forum topic.
I don't know, doesn't seem to be any logic or reason behind Samsung shipping phones. Some people ordered last Friday and got the phones yesterday or today. Some like myself ordered on the 24th and still have nothing. Would like to believe it, but I will be surprised at this point If I get my phone this week. Samsung already failed to live up to its promises made to me, so I don't have much faith in them.

I wish that I ordered from Samsung or Verizon, instead of Best Buy. As of this morning, my phones are still sitting in preordered status. My card hasn't even been charged yet. No way that I'll have it by 9/15.

Cancel your order then go to a BB and get your phone there on 9/15? Or is the $150 off for orders before 9/15 only?

The $150 is only for preorders. That goes away on the 15th. That's the only reason that I did it that way.

Yup. My Note 4 is still holding up. I can wait.
Just a bit jealous of all of the people who already have them. I know that this is how BB does things, though. Is what it is, I guess.
Looks like this was fud as well. 14th is here, and I doubt mine will show up. I now hopefully will get it before October. The 150 dollars in now going on week 3 of watching other people get thier phones. Doesn't help that Samsung customer lack of service has mislead me time and time again.

I just saw this when checking on B&H. Amazon also has this date. Originally it had a release date of 8/19. Hopefully it doesn't slip even more.
I would not be supprised if we dont see the phone in the US by september. If you bought direct from Sony the date says September 17th, even if you pre-ordered on the 1st.
b&h shipped my free earbuds today and my 1 iii shows a status of “order in progress”. not too sure what that means. weird to me that they are shipping separately.
I preordered mine on amazon and it says it will ship on the 24th and be here on the 26th. I hope so! I can't wait! Im still rocking an old Galaxy S5 and an S8+ and could sure use an upgrade. lol
Well, I got my Sony headphones that were available for an extra $1 with the preorder today. Havent tried them yet though. Thursday can't come fast enough.

I got my earbuds too last week. i ordered from b&h and chose 1 day shipping so my fingers are crossed for Wednesday. i have pre ordered things from amazon also in the past and a couple of times they arrived on the release day. i have prime. if you do too and they already have the phones, you might get surprised by an early shipping notification.

I ordered from Sony and got my headphone the day after I ordered, was kinda caught of guard that they came so fast. So I have had the headphone but no phone for the last month.

mine shipped today from b&h. fedex shows delivery for tomorrow.
Are you kidding me!?!?! Mine was supposed to come today but never showed as shipped from Amazon and just now got an email saying there has been a delay and the new delivery date is Sep 15 - Oct 1. I want, or should I say, I NEED my phone. I dont dare cancel it and try to but it elsewhere cause they are all on back order or first come first serve thing. Ugh... Som much for my pre-order. I guess I wait.

I almost ordered from there but being a Prime member, I decided to stick with Amazon. But then Amazon canceled my order three times cause the system thought it was suspicious activity and someone gained unauterized access to my account and made this purchase and canceled my order and locked me out of my account. Tooke me about 45 minutes on the phone, the 3rd time, to get them to figure it out. I guess the first time should have been the first clue to go else where. Sucks is it would be like 2 or 3 days before it would cancel my order so in all, this went on for like 8 days before it actually went through and stuck. lol
