I hate to start another waiting room thread, but I stumbled across a few articles wherein Samsung commits to every preorder being delivered by 9/14. Here's one:

"Some customers who pre-ordered from Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and Samsung.com have already received their devices, and Samsung has said that any customers who order a Note 8 from Samsung.com today will receive it on or before September 14th — still a day before it’s scheduled to show up in stores."
A different article stated that Samsung is doing this to deflate the upcoming I-Phone release. Anyone have any thoughts on this? With all the late september/early october shipping estimates that we got when we ordered (I ordered unlocked under the note 7 promo last week, got an October 1st shipping estimate), is it possible that they will all be delivered this week?
Dud I also got the Oct 1 date for the unlocked version, I would call Samsung if you can't wait.

Just a recent news story to provoke thoughtful discussion on a somewhat hot forum topic.
I don't know, doesn't seem to be any logic or reason behind Samsung shipping phones. Some people ordered last Friday and got the phones yesterday or today. Some like myself ordered on the 24th and still have nothing. Would like to believe it, but I will be surprised at this point If I get my phone this week. Samsung already failed to live up to its promises made to me, so I don't have much faith in them.

Cancel your order then go to a BB and get your phone there on 9/15? Or is the $150 off for orders before 9/15 only?

The $150 is only for preorders. That goes away on the 15th. That's the only reason that I did it that way.

Just a bit jealous of all of the people who already have them. I know that this is how BB does things, though. Is what it is, I guess.
Looks like this was fud as well. 14th is here, and I doubt mine will show up. I now hopefully will get it before October. The 150 dollars in now going on week 3 of watching other people get thier phones. Doesn't help that Samsung customer lack of service has mislead me time and time again.

Be happy you knew when the release date was--I preordered the Nexus 7 and had to wait more than two weeks, most of the time in the dark as to when it was actually being shipped out. Not only that, but brick-and-mortar stores ended up selling them before Google had shipped the preorders. It was really annoying and ten times more tortuous than this.

i just logged into my AMEX account and the pending charge for the phone disappeared. maybe that means theyre about to ship it because they dont actually charge the card until the phone ships.

Not all business customers. I ordered mined on the 4th. still shows pending shipment. Although hopeful that it will change before Tuesday.
I ordered on 4/4 right when pre-orders started and my phone changed to shipped just a bit ago with a tracking number that doesn't work just yet.

Not more than a couple minutes, if that.
Mine shipped too. Received the notification on 4PM central. Its actually surprising that I'm expected to receive it April 17th
Also, in case someone gets worried about the HTC Media Link that's supposed to some with it: I called customer care because my shipment notice didn't include it, but the rep said that it should come as an in-box accessory. Would have to wait and see if that's really the case.
to those who received their tracking numbers, was it for the 32gb or 64gb version? mine is for the 64gb and i still dont have a tracking number.
I have a dev edition coming but i ordered a 64 gb from ATT today. Just got off the phone actually. They jacked my premier site up and the shopping tab wasnt visible. They fixed that but said it would be 24 hours before it showed up. So i called in and ordered. I asked if they were on back order, she checked the SKU of the 64gb and said it showed -157 (negative). I wonder if that is the total amount ordered or the amount on backorder... She didnt know. Anyway they knocked 200 off the price even though i got an upgrade in November. Added overnight fed ex. Hopefully it ships tomorrow.
Mind's 32gb normal ed. Its also through FedEx if that makes any difference and I placed my order on the 4th.

I don't know of any outlet for the Note 8 in Australia that will get it any earlier, so our entire continent feels your pain.
Ordered and paid for mine on the first day of pre-order in Indonesia, 8th September. Samsung website said delivery on the 28th September. Got a message yesterday saying probably on the 8th October!!! After pushing them on this, was told between the 28th Sep and 8th Oct. As I live in the middle of nowhere, I'll probably have to wait until the 8th Oct :crying::crying::crying:

This was tmobile tho. I was waiting on samsung but they never updated my order so cancel and went with tmobile.
Plus you order blue and i was told blue is going to be a hard color to find.

Can't be upset?? I wouldn't be, if Samsung had not told me I would be first to get the phone as a way to make up for note 7(yes I have a screen shot). Add to that today is my shipping day, and no shipping is happening (have email confirmation on that date as well). Also paid extra for next day shipping which looks like that won't happen either.
So yeah a little upset for Samsung lying to me.

Wow crazy on some of these delays. I pre-ordered from AT&T on the 1st and got it on the 6th. I was shocked how AT&T was actually fast because the original date was for this week and didn't have much hope for them actually meeting that date.

Yes I read announced 2/20 for pre-order and hits the market on 3/8. I signed up to reserve a pre-order spot for me and my husband cause of the $550 trade in. I hope they give away the new galaxy buds too. I called Best Buy to see if they knew what their deals were going to be yet and he said they won't know till the announcement date and when it's time to pre-order. I can't see Best Buy giving $550 trade in though.

I don't know what to do now lots of people over on slick deals are saying Samsung has screwed them over and tired to say their phone was messed up once they got it and not giving the full amount you think your getting. Now I see Best Buy is doing $550 too so I am not sure who to order from now. And yes I am so glad the buds are free with it. Now to pick a color.

I see where the phone will be available on March 8 at my Bestbuy while Samsung has given me a shipping date of March 15. I looked on Bestbuy's website to think about trading there instead but saw this, "Trade-in valid in store only. Minimum savings is $50. Savings excludes unlocked phones. Terms and conditions apply". Since BB is only accepting locked phones that leaves me out.

No my Best Buy and I asked them over and over in store and on the phone before I went in their is 2 deals a 650 and a 550. I am trading in my unlocked S9plus and buying an unlo9cked S10plus. When the phone comes in go to pick it up turn in my S9plus and get 550 off my S10plus. I was told this by 2 people in store and when I called I asked the guy 3 times and he said has to be done in store and I said well I am coming in let me repeat my self to make sure you understand what I want to do and I want to make sure your telling me correctly and I got his name. I have pre-order reserve date.
I preordered S10+ today will get it on March 1 with Buds.

I hope so on your part. I've already started the trade-in with Samsung but was out earlier and wanted to look at the phone at Best Buy. I asked the Samsung salesman in the store and he told me they were restricted to carrier locked phones only for the trade-in program. There was another sales person standing there and she didn't correct him. At least you got a name and if they then refuse you can just cancel the sale altogether.

I went to my local authorised Samsung shop and paid 20% deposit. Despite online preorders coming to customers only on March 6 shop personnel assured me that on March 1 I can visit shop and get my phone.
The shop already had display units so I guess they have some stock.

PhoneArena has reported that pre-ordered Note 10+ deliveries are being pushed back by one week. I went to check Samsung web page and it's true. Only the black Note is still on schedule for 23rd. I'm hoping that this is simply a demand-supply situation and those of us who have made the early bird reservations will get the phones as promised on 23rd. My pre-order email confirmation says 23rd no updates from Samsung whatsoever.

This is for people that just pre-ordering at the moment. If you pre-ordered early as you mentioned, then you should be fine. I remember when I pre-ordered S10, the story was the same, but since I ordered early, it arrived 2 days prior to the promised date. If I remember the date correctly, it was March 8 when the phone would be delivered, but Samsung shipped it on Monday, March 4th and I got it on the 6th. I am hoping for the same story with Note 10, where Samsung would ship the phones on the 19th and I would get it by 21st
That's right, I remember the hype related to S10, I was ordering, canceling and reordering again. Went from S10+ to S10(returned, couldn't stand the fp sensor) and settled down w/ S10e, great phone - just little bit to small for reading ebooks. Ended up getting it very late because of that. They(marketing people) know how to make people go crazy
Mine still says Aug 23rd. Hoping for an earlier arrival! I've been tempted to call Samsung to see if they could switch my phone order for another color, but have been nervous about screwing anything up and it gets here late.

Even if you call, Samsung may not do it and will tell you to "cancel and reorder". I wanted to make a simple change to my S10 pre-order back in March, but the rep told me the above
I pre-ordered mine from T-Mobile, Aura Glow 256gb Note10+ right when pre-orders opened. Still says estimated shipping is Aug 23. BTW why isn't there a mega thread for US models like there are for UK, Canada, etc?
Such an "Apple" thing to do. Hold back stock, then report there is such demand that devices are delayed in shipping. UGH
As of right now (Aug 14th,2019) Sprint shows only one delay and that's the 512gb Aura Black version of the note 10 + so, here's to hoping

I just saw this when checking on B&H. Amazon also has this date. Originally it had a release date of 8/19. Hopefully it doesn't slip even more.

I got my earbuds too last week. i ordered from b&h and chose 1 day shipping so my fingers are crossed for Wednesday. i have pre ordered things from amazon also in the past and a couple of times they arrived on the release day. i have prime. if you do too and they already have the phones, you might get surprised by an early shipping notification.

I want, or should I say, I NEED my phone. I dont dare cancel it and try to but it elsewhere cause they are all on back order or first come first serve thing. Ugh... Som much for my pre-order. that sucks. i feel for you. i ordered from b&h about 5 minutes after they opened pre-orders.

I almost ordered from there but being a Prime member, I decided to stick with Amazon. But then Amazon canceled my order three times cause the system thought it was suspicious activity and someone gained unauterized access to my account and made this purchase and canceled my order and locked me out of my account. Tooke me about 45 minutes on the phone, the 3rd time, to get them to figure it out. I guess the first time should have been the first clue to go else where. Sucks is it would be like 2 or 3 days before it would cancel my order so in all, this went on for like 8 days before it actually went through and stuck. lol
