v10 H961N Green screen and bootloop after - LG V10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Switching off the music before entering the flight to another continent, phone freeze, restart, green screen ... and after several restarts stucked in bootloop.
Yeah, the best timing, being in foreign country without smartphone.
Guys, I know that there are many threads about this problem recently, but after reading all of them, I've founded that my problem is still a bit special
So, what's happening ?
Before, phone gets several restarts and always stucked in green screen.
I did factory reset, with was smooth and after restart it always loads everything but once I see my wallpaper, it's freeze, restart and over and over ...
What I've already did ?
1. Factory reset
2. Left in the fridge for 1 hour. After, still the same. This makes me thing that my issue is not in overheating, as I believe that if chips will be cool, the booting process will last a little longer and I will might be able see more than my wallpaper before it restarts ....
My theory
Phone was under blanked whole night, is possible that it' was bit overheaded (despite it was idle and on airplane) so in the morning when I've entered the plane, I just saw that green screen.... but after, I've switched it off, took off battery for a while, something inside changed and I'm almost ready to use it except something cracked with software....
My question
Is possible to put there any other software, or just do some modifications with software on my particular, Hong Kong version ?
or, it's HW for sure ?
Thank you so much and hope you will understand my confusing post

[Q] Brand new G2 randomly shuts down

Ive been lurking around this site since the shadow was the new thing on the block, and ive never had a problem i couldnt figure out by just searching the forums... well, now i do...lol
I have a 17 day old g2, completely undamaged, unscratched. for some reason, intermittently, and with no apparent cause, it will shut off completely. it does not go through the shut down process, give any warning, or restart on its own, it just turns off like you pulled the battery out. (ive checked batt. voltage and amperage with a multimeter and ensured that the battery isnt loose in any way. also, it will shut off exactly the same way while charging which leads me to believe that it cant be a power problem.)
Also, though im not sure its related, sometimes the touch sensitivity in the screen will shut off (not the screen itself, still displays beautifully). Only way to restore touch functionality is to restart device manually.
Ive tried a master reset, and called T-Mobile tech support (which was useless).
Hopefully someone will have some idea whats going on here because i sure dont
Where did you get the device from, T-Mobile?
Have you flashed a new Recovery to the phone or hacked it in any other way?
G2 Randomly shuts down
I've only had mine for a week and its doing the same thing...no hacks, tampering etc.
Have you got the OTA update ? If not then you should find it online and update your phone. HTC has fixed the issue of random reboots for the phone

Major issue, phone turning off, please help

hey guys
had an issue today, traded a desire for a HD2 as i really wanted to go back to winmo (crazy most people will think)
Now when i revieved the phone i turned it on everything seemed fine for about 20 mins (note i never used the phone apart from make a call to test)
by the time i had left after a good chat, i checked the phone back at work at it was turned off, i plugged in the charger, the little notification came on and i left it to charge, an hour later after a meeting i turned on the phone, it booted into windows and then after loading sense it crashed and restarted then got stuck on the splash screen
numerous battery pulls and the same issues, gets into windows doesnt load sense, freezes and blank screen, when i battery pull and turn on 90% stuck on the splash screen
installed a rom from the memory card (stock) worked for 10 minutes same issue
any ideas?
do you reckon iv been given a knackered phone?
anyone? iv managed to get it to boot, but after around 10 minutes, it just turns itself back on, pauses at the htc screen, then reboots again and gets into windows, then 10 minutes later does the same, i flashed to the most recent wwe firmware from htc, after it managed to stay on long enough to sync to the pc
im stumped

i think its a dud phone
please guys any ideas im all out
Had similar issue with my phone, random reboots after phone was working for a bit, stuck on bootscreen without displaying radio, partitions etc.
Called HTC, was a hardware issue obviously, the sent me a new replacement phon (warranty).
if you have HSPL
1. Task 29
2. when stuck in blank screen - pull battery out
3. bootloader
4. connect back to pc via usb
5. flash any stock ROM (not the latest 3.14 as it will change your HSPL)

[Q] Reboot Loop

Hello everyone, I am relatively new to all of this and was wondering if anyone can help me with an issue I am currently having with my T-mobile HD2. It was given to me by a friend because it continuously reboots over and over. It gets to the orange Windows screen and then dims and restarts. I have looked all over and can not find a solution to this problem. So far I have soft and hard reset the phone. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
For those wondering there has been attempt to add a custom rom onto the phone. It is basically a standard version of the HD2.

I had the same problem but it complete restarted after a several loops. When it didnt, HardReset. Then the problem disapear after the new rom 3.14.
check for bent battery pins.....
I have checked the battery pins and they appear to be fine. There aren't bent in any odd way. I have also allowed it to loop until the battery failed on me. The screen at which it reboots on says
"Preparing your phone for first use. The Today screen will be displayed when this process is complete."
It also has a loading bar on that bottom that makes it about 5% through before rebooting again. I took the phone to a so called repair shop but the worker told me that it is an operating problem and that nothing can be done. Is there any truth to that statement?
there is a very small chance that the reset loop could be caused by overheating,
nevertheless, if you're out of other ideas, try putting your phone in the fridge for 10-15 minutes before turning it on

[Q] GT-I9300: Purple/pink screen flickering/freeze (not SDS) and strange behavior

Hello,
I have an international unlocked Samsung Galaxy S III (GT-I9300) that is no longer in warranty and that started behaving strangely (unresponsive) a couple of weeks ago on Android 4.1.2 (official ROM, rooted with CF-AutoRoot).
After reading several threads here on XDA I believed it was subject of Sudden Death. So I started with a factory reset and rooted the phone again with CF-AutoRoot but after that I still experienced the same freezes and started my mission to try and resolve this using whatever method was required.
I starting with trying the DFG app but to no avail. The freezing was provoked but did not go away after many days of iterations and freezes (it always recovered out of a freeze).
Next I tried the eMMC check app to verify on what version I was so that I could help my in further pinpointing the problem. It said I was safe, but while running that app the phone freezed again but this time the screen turned purple/pink and it did not recover from the freeze after several hours until I finally removed the battery. The purple/pink turned into purple/pink with black lines and after removing the battery I could not power on the phone.
In all desperation I started trying out different "SDS-safe" custom kernels, ROMs and bootloaders (all flashed using Odin on my laptop) but the problem did not go away. In fact, I discovered a very strange correlation between the time that I leave the battery out the phone and the time it takes before the purple/pink freeze occurs again.
If I wait half an hour, put the battery back in the phone and boot it (in whichever mode) it would freeze/flicker/die after about 20 seconds. If I would wait several hours, put the battery back in the phone and boot it it would freeze/flicker/die after a solid 1 or 2 minutes.
Whether the phone is connected to the laptop or not makes no difference. I also tried with a different battery but the same behavior occurs.
After waiting a solid day, in still in act of desperation, I decided to flash the leaked 4.2.2 (I9300XXUFME7) official ROM. But even after a factory reset and wiping of cache I found that the problem still remained.
Now I believe I've tried almost everything I've found on these forums I'm not sure what I can still do. It seems it's not battery, ROM, kernel or bootloader related and it also does not seem a case of Sudden Death (I never heard mention of the purple/pink flickering, and it also never snaps out of the freeze; also the strange correlation between battery out of the phone and time before it freezes is something I haven't read about).
From all the research I've done I've not encountered anyone with the same symptoms (does not wake out of freeze, purple/pink lines appear on screen when freeze starts and keep flickering for hours, there seems to be a correlation between the time the battery is out of the phone and how long I have before it freezes again when I turn it on) and I'm running out of ideas.
I believe it is hardware related (but not a screen issue) rather than software related because the USB connection with the laptop disconnects when it freezes, purple/pink flickering and no recovery; but I have no idea what options I still have.
Before I give up on the phone does anyone have any recommendations of what I can try before sending it to a Samsung repair center?
Attached are 4 pictures to show the typical process after waiting ~4 hours and powering on the phone:
Phone boots OK
The phone freezes and a purple/pink overlay appears
More and more flickering making the screen turn more and more purple/pink
The screen seems to be divided in 4-5 parts
Everything is pink and black lines start to appear
Thank you for your time.
I'd say you need a new motherboard or screen, possibly both - you've ruled out any software causes.
just had this issue
Did you find a solution, given the fact that this happened a long time ago?
I was watching a video and my screen turned pink like the 4th photo you posted.
Now it wont work, get the pink screen everytime is turned on.

Reset after reboot

Hey guys,
have u ever heard of my problem? Please help if you did!
First of all, I think one of my batteries is broken, cause it's lasting ways to short.
If my battery goes down to 15, display starts flickering but I dont care.
Now I realized another, hard issue!
If my phone got to nearly 5% it's powered off and reboots. But it dont just reboots, it seems it is off for 30 seconds, then it reboots. Btw, without "powering down", just off. Screen off, no sound, sometimes LED glowing blue.
After that reboot i realized all of my Apps are gone, including GAPPS!! Just one of my games is still there. I didnt do any wipe!
My phone is back on non-rooted stock Android 4.3 UGNG3 DBT version.
I do not understand how this loss works!?
best regards
