Hi experts,
I am using Samsung S5 G900F, everthing was good but once mobile fell down after that 2G/3G is with full singal but LTE very weak around -100dbm, secondly now when i try to screen on sometimes its blink after many tries its turn on.
When I try to make a call on 2G/3G is says "network not register", in Setting-About device-Status is show network "unknown"
Need your advice on this issue, thanks in advance

Here is my problem,
If I put the phone on "automatic" it will stay on gprs/edge but i will have good cell signal. If I put it on WCDMA then i get 3g /hsdpa
Normally in my area I get 3g on an iphone with no problem. But with the galaxy s2, it doesn't show up unless i select wcdma.
Why is that? and what could be wrong? Why doesnt it auto switch away from edge to hsdpa/3g ?
I'm using Ki4 modem
I had the same issue before I moved to 2.3.5
Also, try with disabling fast dormancy(*#9900#) and see if that makes a difference for you.
Thanks,
Vishal
Hi
I have a samsung Galaxy SIII korean mobile. But i can't active 3g network my mobile set. please tell me how can i active 3g network. I am all ready doing mobile data connection of on more than time and APN set. But doesn't work. Please help me.
Contact your provider. It sounds like your SIM hasn't had data enabled yet.

Hi, I've recently bought a Galaxy S3, Module: SHV-E210L from a website it seems to be original i check with some apps on the Appstore.
But for some reason it can only connect to 3G while in my galaxy s2 i could connect to H+.
I tried to upgrade the firmware to 4.3 but it didnt help. Also I cant make video calls i got this weird icon on the status bar that i guess i related and when i try to make a video call i get: Videos Calls not supported in international roaming area.(I attached a file with the icon)
I tried to deselect roaming(althogh my carrier said to keep it on) it didnt help.
Thank you very very much for the support
Your in the i9300 / 305 forum you need help from the e210l community.
The S3 you bought is a Korean model and so its optimised for Korean network bands. By using it in your own country the phone thinks its roaming, hence why a.) You have two clocks on your lockscreen and b.) You can only connect to 3G and not H+ or 4G LTE (that variant is 4G enabled).
Its probably also why you can't make video calls.
Thank you for your replies ill go to the other forum, but can you please tell me if there is anything i can do about it? like a installing some other rom or something?
Hi everyone, this is my first time posting here so please excuse me if this is a repetition or the wrong place.
I recently picked up the Galaxy A9(pro) 6 from Asia (Bangkok) while passing through duty-free. I must say I'm happy with the phone.
However, the "LTE" icon does not show on the status bar of the Galaxy A9(pro) 6. It only shows "4G". I am on with T-Mobile network in the US and my previous phone was Galaxy S4 (also from T-mobile) and it did show the "LTE" icon below "4G" in the status bar. We do get LTE coverage here where I am (my home) as per my previous usage of the Galaxy S4.
The Network mode is set to LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Is it that Galaxy A9(pro)6 does not show the "LTE" icon as in, it's not part of the feature?
Are my settings correct or do I need to do something to get LTE?
I don't seem to be having a problem with my data as the speed/performance is pretty good. But I'm not sure if this is just 4G or 4G LTE?
Could anyone help and explain what's going on?
Thank you,
Kevin
Hi everyone,
I am getting a "not registered on network" error with one of my simcards, but it's not as straightforward as it seems:
- the signal is good (3-4 bars)
- 3G and 4G data both work fine, only 2G (voice and SMS) is not working.
- if I put the simcard in network mode 3G/2G only (under Settings>Connections>Mobile Networks), the 2G and 3G will both work. So basically it's only an issue when 4G is active, the 2G stops working.
now the weird part:
- the same simcard works fine when I plug it into an iPhone (2G/3G/4G)
- another simcard with a different number from the same carrier works fine in this phone (2G/3G/4G)
- the same simcard does have similar issues when I plug it into a galaxy S7 edge, but only intermittently... it will work most of the time but once in a while I'll get the same 'not registered on network.' error.
I have seen a lot of people complaining about a similar issue on the galaxy S8 and am wondering if there is not something going on with the galaxy series.
In the meantime, I spoke with my carrier and they are sending me a new sim card. I'll try this and will report here.
What carrier are you on and what variant of the S9 do you have? What APN settings are you using?
Check your APN settings
Yes I checked the APN settings. Please note that they are working fine on another phone. It's definitely not that.
I have a Samsung Galaxy s9+ and had problem using LTE/3G/2G under "Mobile networks" setting. I changed the setting to 3G/2G and the problem is not coming back anymore. I am not sure if future updates will fix the problem with LTE or not. Definitely not the SIM card problem because I used and tried the SIM in different phones without any problem. Now I found another problem with my phone. When I try "Voice recorder" and recording conversation with background music when you playback the recorded audio there is a stuttering or crackling sound. Samsung please work on fix for these problems as soon as possible. I'm from Majuro, Marshall Islands.
