Hey guys, what about split-screen feature, why I can't have one app bigger - like in MIUI (first screeenshot). In AOSP ROM's (excluding Slim ROM it have this feature) I can't get more space for one app (second screenshot). Anybody knows why is it that?

Hello all,
Is there any app which emulates/is similar to the MultiWindow mod from Samsung (present in SGS3/Note2/SGS4) ?
As far as i've seen, there is ChatHeads (but applicable only for notifications), Paranoid will develop a similar feature but i dont see any app which does this...
Can anyone help me ?

if you mean the multiwindow that you know from samsung, then it is only available in roms based on samsung.
omnirom, which is not samsung based, also has a splitscreen view, by longpressing an app in recent apps (but also with apps like bubble launcher).
but omniroms splitscreen view is still a bit buggy.
omniroms thread can be found in general section.
an alternative could be, until it is stable, to use a rom which supports halo (it creates a floating window on top of your currently used app)

Hi all, I've tried both CM and AOSP based ROM: Pound (with is what I'm currently on), Beanstalk (which hit my battery hard but was otherwise very good) and Omni (which was no better than Pound for me), and none of them appear to have a separate lockscreen wallpaper. Apart from Play apps and xposed / gravity, is anyone aware of any 4.4.2 ROMs that natively have a separate lockscreen wallpaper?
TIA

Hello.. I'm on MI-Globe ROM (Android 7) and do not see any option to add an app shortcut to lockscreen. I do not believe this to be a custom rom issue, but an android 7 (Nougat) issue.
Frankly, I doubt there is a solution other than going to an earlier android version (ie, MM). The restrictions on nougat is ridiculous and may switch to something MM based due to this.
Any solution to this? No way to add an app shortcut to lockscreen? Thanks.
I know it isn't for everyone, but I really like some of the UI of MIUI - specifically the app switcher which operates vertically and displays two apps side by side.
Has anyone come across an app or launcher which offers the same app-switcher experience as MIUI on no-Xiaomi devices? Or even a complete MIUI theme? (OxygenOS,OnePlus 7 Pro)
Thanks
Hi, maybe it's possible. First your phone should be rooted and you should install miui module on it. Then you can download miui apps and run it on your custom roms.
