HELP! Fast charging problem - Honor 9 Questions & Answers

Guys. My honor 9 is just charging not fast charging. It always showed Fast charging but now it's just charging. Why???

Have you check the Settings > Battery menu to see if the Fast Charging Option has been disabled?

There is a setting in the Settings Menu somewhere that toggles the Fast Charging Option on and off.

[Q] Disable screen lock when on power?

Is it possible to disable the screen lock pattern when the phone is connected to power? E.g. when driving, it's annoying to keep drawing the pattern to unlock the phone...
Regards,
BTJ
Yep. Use Battery Indicator (pro) from the market. That is what I use then adjust settings in the menu.

Can I use this and disable the battery indicator in the notification area? Don't really need another battery indicator...
BTJ
Yes, you sure can.
Ok, will check it out... Thx...
BTJ
No worries. Let me know how it goes.
Didn't work... Couldn't remove the battery indicator from notification nor disable lock screen when charging...

Battery % display?

I see some people have enabled battery percent number display on the status line.
How is that being done?
Thanks.

In system settings, power saver, scroll down. The option should be there.
Settings -> Power saver -> and check "Battery percentage" ( it is one before last option).
Thanks, I found it.
It's an odd place in the set up to put that option.
I also was just wondering this.. thx plenty for sharing.. seems I could have found that by tinkering with my phone a bit

There are a lot of reasons of why a device is slow when it is charging.
Some people say that it's the battery icon's animation. Others saying that non-original chargers are causing lag.
Also when your phone is charging, heat is generated inside the battery and that causes your device to heat up as well. Some ROMs detect that the device is overheating and adjust the CPU speed accordingly to prevent any damage.
yup
i think its due to battery bar animation but i cudnt find any option to remove it...
whn i hide my battery status it works well but need atleast battery icon over thr

I think CM includes an option to hide the battery icon.
In my device it's in Settings > Status bar > Battery status style.
hmm

Yes that's what I was talking about. In my CM version it includes an option to hide it.

shortcut for wireless reverse charging?

Is there a shortcut way to enable wireless reverse charging?
I was surprised to find out that this feature is not toggleable from the quick settings menu..
is there any workaround? or something else?
You can long press the ultra powersaving icon in the pulldown menu.
True, better than nothing, thanks!
If anyone finds a shorter way feel free to share
Why can't you leave it on all the time?
Haven't received mine yet so i can't test.
I thought so too before I got it..
It disables it self few minutes after no activity

I've heard it's because it will slowly drain the phone. Wireless charging works a bit differently than the og way.

Recent apps auto clears overnight

I've been facing this problem, ever since the Pie upgrade. Every morning i find that only the 4 most recent app are available in the recent apps screen. The later ones are automatically cleared up by the system i guess.
I have searched the settings a lot but couldn't find any option that turns this auto clearing off.
Anyone have a idea how to fix this?
Thanks.

I checked every settings under device care. Even turned off settings that are related to battery optimization like putting unused apps to sleep and disable unused apps etc.
Do you by chance chance the limit to 4 background processes in developer settings ?

What about Auto optimisation in DEVICE CARE
SETTINGS
DEVICE CARE
Tap the "three dots" for more options
You'll see AUTO OPTIMISATION try turning that OFF
