[Q] CM7.2 Wifi issue

Hello everyone,
I just reinstall CM7.2 with wipe of the entire cache, and I can not connect to my wifi network (WPA2-PSK) that is configured with a key as 123456789. My PS3 is connected to the network and everything works. I tried with another phone Samsung Wave II type and again, that works. I tried with my Legend on another network with the same security and I could connect.
Back on my network, I try the connection again, and still nothing ... I changed the security to WEP, my phone could connect.
Could someone explain to me why I can not connect to my wifi WPA/WPA2-PSK?
Edit : I try to switch wifi network to WPA-PSK, it seems to work fine, but why not with WPA2 :s
I found this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1605047 !
I'll try it
With this fix, wifi can't be activated :/
Any idea please ?
Thx

[Q] Factory Reset, WiFi Profiles

I'm looking to add a WiFi profile automatically to a device after a factory reset, without having to require input from the user going through the initial setup steps. Is there a way to do this via recovery? I've done a bit of Googling and searching the threads, but I appear to either not know the correct syntax, or I'm crazy in considering this... TIA!

S6 Edge Wi-fi Boot Loop

Today arrived my new S6 Edge. I noticed that if i connect to a wifi network my phone enters in a booting loop , which i am unable to stop unless i do (Vol.Up+Home+Power), and wipe cache data and factory reset. Everything else works fine , i updated it to latest version of android (5.11) but still, if I try to connect to a wifi network my phone will just enter this restart loop. I don't know what else to do. My phone is brought from outside the country and I can't return it to the Carrier for a replacement. Any fixes ?

Wifi problem: no password any more until reboot

Hi,
I'm using an HTC One M7 with latest OTA stock rom (5.0.2 with Sense 6.0 and kernel 3.4.10-g6388905) and it "loses" my wifi passwords after some hours after booting. The password entry in the connect list is then empty and it is not possible to enter a password there. It is not possible to turn Wifi off. I then have to reboot and then for some hours all passwords are there (without reentering them!) and Wifi works. The next day it is unable to log into Wifi.
Sometimes even the telephone is unable to make a call then.
I tried a soft reset and a factory reset, but it doesnt help.
It came after the last OTA update to 5.02, I think.
Regards,
Stefan

Marshmallow Update broke Wi-Fi

Hi guys, first post here, so sorry if this is in the wrong section or something.
I just updated my phone (Honor 5X KIW-L21) from Lollipop to Marshmallow, and as soon as it updated, the Wi-Fi stopped working.
I can connect to my router, but can't connect to the internet. Mobile data works absolutely fine.
I have tried rebooting, forgetting and reconnecting to the router, network settings reset, factory default reset but no luck.
Is anyone able to help me here please?

Try reflashing the update again
Yes, try to flash the whole stock firmware package again, steps to do it are mentioned below, please follow them:
Download your phone's latest firmware.
After doing this put the UPDATE.APP in dload folder of your external SDCARD.
Switch off your phone, and press Vol UP + Vol DOWN + Power button simultaneously.
Check your wifi after doing this and report back.

1- factory reset usually does the trick to solve problems
2- reflashing could help or it might just duplicate the same mistake
3- if there is no other feedback with the same malfunction, consider your problem to be isolated.
4- factory reset and do not setup anything, just skip the whole wizard. Let is settle for 5 minutes and then reboot. See if you can get wifi data.
5- consider using sensors multi tool app to check wifi or Huawei hidden test menu as every device have one.
