This is a new Stock ROM, based on new SM-N915V N915VVZW2CQI3 firmware. If you install this firmware by ODIN, your SM-N915V phone firmware will be latest N915VVZW2CQI3 and you will not loose developer edition unlocked bootloader.
Step 1: download and install this stock firmware https://mega.nz/#!knRXxSCZ!3mwUAi0FXpGN-E0zPjBqx5Hf_YLSK8Ror8VQH5JiE54
Step 2: install TWRP https://mega.nz/#!NhkSxQJJ!GYaYWs2z0Mxj0Ht9aFpFvFeehf-8dFKUVt_ToIjpC8s
Step 3: install SuperSU.zip https://mega.nz/#!ErxDFboQ!n3M0zLP271shYSsK7Mtzr0F031c3UXugv6b45Pr_OvE
And I add an original stock unchanged firmware. May be somebody needs it. If you use it your bootloader will be locked .

When I flash the firmware update for the developer's edition of the HTC One, must I unlock the bootloader since the DE came stock with an unlocked bootloader?
Also, when you update the firmware (RUU), do you have to reboot the phone before reinstalling the custom rom? Or may you use recovery and install the firmware from zip and then immediately following that installation, reinstall the custom rom before a reboot?
do it on your own risk ..................
you need
1. unlocked bootloader
2. twrp recovery installed
3. official stock firmware installed.
4. gapps 7.0 arm version stock package
for moto g4 only
please backup you current stock rom using twrp
1. unlock bootloader that void your warranty so do that on your own will.
2. install twrp recovery after unlocking the booloader
3. download gapps from open gapps website and select
arm ->7.0->stock
4. install gapps without factory reset and after that reboot, it takes some to boot than go to settings apps search dialer app then give it all the permissions and make pixel launcher default.
this method is annoying because you have to backup your current rom before flash gapps. if any problem occured then go to twrp and factory reset and then restore the rom.
but this method take your moto g4 to very stable pixel ui and also every app is genuine as pixel device. i trust on open gapps.
i did it very short because old users know how to unlock bootloader and install twrp so use that if you want some pixel feel on moto g4.
for new users of moto g4 guys do not update the rom in future if you unlocked the bootloader.
*** use this method if you have current version of stock rom that is installed when you unlock the bootloader, for example: if you have npj25.93-4 version installed at present time then you must have that version of stock rom, for relocking the moto g4, for the future update. if you update the software by auto update feature that prompt on the whole screen whenever new updates come, then you will be in trouble untill you have latest updated stock firmware package. understand the matter, because it will hard brick your phone so unlock the bootloader if you have full stock rom package for relock the device and during unlocked bootloader do not auto update to the newer version of os. its simple do not update to latest untill you relock the device.
good luck and do it carefully ....... otherwise used methods describe on youtube for unrooted devices
nice..
will it work on g4 plus?
Frequently, the custom ROM firmware flash requires an unlocked bootloader always. Hence, rooting is a required manner of flashing the custom firmware of any Samsung Galaxy mobile device. So you have to find the CF Auto Root and the most compatible custom ROM firmware file with your device build number. Once downloaded all requirements, enable USB debugging and then boot the device into download mode. First, root the system and then the bootloader will be unlocked. Then you will be empowered to flash the custom firmware. Read more before engaging in the custom firmware flashing.
Hello, I have to sell my realme 7 pro and I must relock bootloader and replace recovery stock. My version is EU variant - RMX2170_11_A.36, with TWRP .
I know that I have to return stock recovery before locking bootloader otherwise bootloop.
I can't find the right recovery for my phone, i found only a.37 - a37 - a39
What are the right steps I have to follow? Thanks
Found this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-relock-bootloader-back-to-stock.4172569/
Stock roms can be downloaded here: https://realmeupdater.com/downloads/latest/RMX2170EU/
Simply flashing stock rom should help?
thanks bro, I have succesfully backed to stock my phone. I've followed method 2, flashing .ozip (same version already installed) through twrp. Once done, I rebooted to system without setup, and then recovery stock was reinstalled. Then I locked bootloader again by fastboot flashing lock.
Basically, I've searched for this question but no concrete answer to be found. I am following a rooting tutorial and it says to flash stock firmware through Odin and then flash TWRP.
I have found the stock firmware for my country (Android 8), but other cell carrier than mine, and the phone is currently running Android 9.
Can I just flash TWRP without flashing a stock firmware beforehand, or is it necessary to flash a stock firmware first, and if so, what about the different carrier and a previous Android version?

Before flashing TWRP, it is a good idea to flash the latest firmware to get the latest version of the modem, which will be useful for use with custom ROM.
Carefully read the TWRP flashing instructions so there are no surprises.
If you don't want to change the original firmware, then flash TWRP.
beware, latest firmware may bring new security updates such as vaultkeeper or RMM protection to your device.
you can flash different CSC with modded Odin (not recommended) but you can't downgrade bootloader.
use Samloader or Bifrost to download from official Samsung server for your region.
