You have to use Samsung kies or smart switch I don't know how to do it with smart switch

This is a rom with a kernel and that's about it.
Not the full firmware with all the other partitions. If TWRP didn't work on your stock FW, it's probably not gonna make a difference what rom you flash!

Hey, generally sites that host firmwares tend to be quite ****ty so i guess it would be better if you did a Google search of the firmware you want to download . When I tried to download the french lollipop update from sammobile host I was getting ultra low download speeds so I searched the firmware name and went to another site that had better bandwidth to download. I just haven't installed the update yet as I want to be sure that it can get rooted. Sadly I cannot provide any links for you atm cause I am not home but when I'll get the chance I will pm you .

Wow... so almost 4 years later I revisit this thread...
I took out my preserved Note Edge (TM) still on KK 4.4 from the vault and wanted to flash a good ROM on it, but they are all on LP or MM base. I really didn't like LP at all ... JB was awesome, KK is great, LP a total bust, then MM turned out to be a polished version of KK ...
I"m wanting to stay and preserve KK 4.4, rather the U1 BL and not get stuck going past U1 ...
It looks like I can only roll up to BOG2 (5.0.1) to be able to roll back to KK (baseband and all) as going over BOG2 will get it stuck on U2 ...
See the firmwares here: https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-note-edge/SM-N915T/TMB/
I'm a big fan of TEKHD ROM's and am glad to see that he has one built on the 5.0.1 base, which on BOD7 (U1) ... that looks like my only choice to stay within U1 eh?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/no...t/bod7-tekxodus-ne-urv1-5-16-edge-s6-t3109986
Anyone else out there still rocking their Note Edge? It's a classic for sure....

Does it happem with the official J730F rom?
or just the ones ported from J730G and J730FM?
anyway, better if we get information about the feasibility of a downgrade without any hassle.

True, I wanted to give the rom a test however I could not download it because it's saying "Free download is currently unavailable"
So i'm waiting for it to be available.
I'll post more about it when it try it myself.

Nope, everything is fine.
All can be saved with the firmware by selecting the file HOME_CSC.
Touchscreen works, they say that non-original touchscreens do not work
I like it - there is a section of AOD in the SamsungThemes app
Is this rom is for j7 dual sim

Sent from my SM-J730F using Tapatalk
I have wiped cache and user partition.
Went to download mode.
Start Odin and import all files.
Passed 5 minutes and still did not start to flash ?
Oreo stock (PHE)
Samsung J7-2017 on Nougat 7.0
What is wrong ?
Update.
After reinstall adb drivers, everything went fine.
Rom is stable, not issues at all.
