Hello. I was wondering if the partition has to be 16384 MB in size or it can be less as for some reason I can't resize it to that amount in order to install Remix OS, even though there is still about 25 GB left that disk. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Dear community,
I have the new Kindle Fire HDX7 (32GB). I have rooted it and installed Safetrap 3.75. My ultimate goal is to install the Nexus-Rom. Therefore I have already backed up the Stock-Rom with Safetrap. I think the next step is to create Rom-Slot-1. I'm stuck here as I have no idea which values to choose. I dont need the Stock-Rom (FireOS). I'd like to have my Nexus Rom as the only Rom I want to work with. I have read that it would be better to keep the Stock-Rom on the device nonetheless in case of an emergency. Though I have saved the backup on my PC as well I would leave it on the device too.
When using my kindle with the Nexus-Rom I'd like to use apps, games (especially Point-and-Click Adventure such as Brokens Sword (700MB), Broken Age, Monkey Island etc.) and surf the internet. I'd store some music as well if possible.
I have read that most people say: choose the values to your liking/depends on what you want to do. I tried to explain what I would like to do but I really don't know what values would fit my purpose best. I'd assume that I take the highest values as I want the Rom-Slot to be my only working-station? I've read so many threads now but I still haven't been able to figure that out.
My options are:
ROM-SLOT-1:
System partition size: 1248 MB (value cant be changed)
Data partition size: I can chooose a value between 1.000 MB and 16.000 MB
Cache partition size: I can choose a value between 300 MB und 1.000 MB
Selected Space: varies depending on the
Free Space: 23366 MB (value cant be changed)
STOCK-ROM:
System partition size: 1230 MB (193 MB Free)
Data partition size: 26901 MB (23367 MB Free)
Cache partition size: 1009 MB (990 MB Free)
I'm really lost here. Any kind of advice is really welcome. Thank you.
After long days trying to implement some filesystem that allows more than 4GB file size on my Jiayu S3 with a Xtreme ROM (not ROM stock, but still Jiayu official MOD) based on Android v5.1 64 bits, I have concluded that maybe, as for today (September 2015) there is no way to achieve this.
So, please, could someone successful on mounting NTFS or EXT4 (preferred) with a 64 bits Android version tell me how he did it?
I tried multiple tutorials (some from XDA) and apps, but they all fail.

Use ext4 format for maximum storage. Fat32 has a upper limit of 4098 mb for maximum file size.
As far as your english is concerned, use google translate. It is much better and helps to communicate easily.
Have been having issues with installing Remix OS on my USB stick. After installation, with no error messages, there just simply isn't anything on there. All 60ish GBs are unused according to my disk management, that is spread out over three partitions of 20ish GBs, 5 GBs, and 32 GBs. None of these partitions can be can be extended or shrank, yet the 32 GB partition that wasn't in use can be deleted. Formatting does nothing to the partition that was made for Remix OS (the 20ish GB partition), and none of the partitions can be combined. Is this flash drive just lost or can I fix it to how it was before attempting to install it?
My phone has a 32GB storage space, but after I have flashed the RR Oreo ROM, the maximum space shrank to 9GB. Do I need to re partition the space? There is a thread which is the same situation as me but it's for nexus 6 phones....
I cannot flash stock MIUI 9 rom due to fail unmount when installing using TWRP...
Please suggest what I can do...
Sounds like you messed up your partitions. The same commands you'll find in the Nexus threads will work for all devices, AFAIK. Do an advanced wipe and resize the file system in TWRP. If that doesn't work, try fastboot format userdata in fastboot. Then try flashing the stock MIUI recovery (here it is for mido devices only!: http://en.miui.com/thread-528989-1-1.html) for your device and stock ROM for your device.
You might have to use Mi Flash. Qualcomm devices only.
Based on your steps, I have formatted however I had used ext4 and reverted to Stock MIUI rom. However just checking, I had 23.77 GB of storage space. Is this normal? Or I have to restore by stock recovery mode?
It shows in storage settings:
NON-SYSTEM STORAGE
Available 23.77GB Total: 25.23GB
Thanks for your help!

Yes. The system will always take up some space, and so will storage in general. For example, a 32 gig USB stick might have 29 gigs of available space. Smartphones add system files on top of that. So that 29 gigs becomes 25 gigs once the OS is installed.
And yes, you should only have 24-25 gigs available at most: https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-4/help/usable-storage-size-32gb-model-t3634746
You could try flashing a custom ROM to see if you can get more space back. MIUI is really big.
