I have never encountered this kind of situation before.
I flashed my stock recovery and boot image.
But the problem started when I reboot to recovery.
When the phone was going to boot again. the OPPO logo displayed. But it goes off within a second. Then the logo shown again and it goes off again.
When I pressed volume-up+volume-down+power button together. The cycle of the logo stops and now it is ot responding.
Tell me have any of you encountered this situation.
If yes then please tell me how to fix it.
Thank you.
Hello,
Just to clarify: It went boot loops after you flashed or was it in bootloop and that's why you flashed?
Either way, more importantly, after flashing, it stuck in bootloop, you forced power-off and now it won't respond at all? Or if you try to power-up does it go back into bootloop? Maybe a silly question but easy to overlook when you're busy; is the battery charged?
I'm no guru, but I've been studying boot looping and soft brick situations for the last few days and might be able to push you in the right direction.

Ok so I installed the Chucke Rom and the Radio thing for my phone and now it is in an infinite loop when it boots up. It doesn't turn on when I don't have it charged in and when I do have the phone charged in, the Chucke Rom thing loads up the custom boot logo but then the screen goes black and does the same thing over again. This is a serious help needed because I really need my phone. Can anyone help me out here?
please delete this thread mods... i am keeping the other one with the [Q]
Today my phone was bring finnicky and locking up, so I restarted it. Lo and behold the thing won't even boot. I don't even get a boot animation. I get a flash of LG for half a second and then blackness. Couldn't boot into recovery, so instead I booted into download mode and LGNPST back to JB stock. Now it won't boot past the AT&T logo. I see LG, AT&T, hear the little jingle, and then the screen stays the same. When I power the phone off it auto powers itself back up and tries to boot again. Endless cycle.
Anyone have any idea what's going on or how to fix it? I'm lost at this point and fear that I may have inadvertently bricked my phone. Really can't afford a new one...
You could try factory reset from stock recovery. The button combo is volume down plus power. There will be a menu screen if you get it to work.
Went in to AT&T support and that's what the guy did. It worked. Thanks, wish I had seen this post before making that drive.
I'm not an expert in Android, nor am I an expert with computers, just an average joe in the Android world. Since the time I got myself into this community I never stopped learning something small. I was able to root my phone, install custom firmwares, unroot my device, do a NANDroid back up. All of this done with the help I got from an online source. Now, I'm looking forward to do further tweaks in my device's system. It might sound risky, but I'm enticed by how far an android device can be further improved. But before I do any of this, I'd like to know the appropriate steps to do when something goes wrong like what if device ends up on boot loop.
Questions:
1) What is boot loop?
2) What causes boot loop?
3) Is it the same with a bricked phone?
4) Can the phone be recovered from it (boot loop / brick)?
5) What should be done when a phone is on boot loop?
I humbly ask everone to share a bit of your knowledge about this.
Thank you.
1 - Is kinda of obvious. Bootloop is when your device is stuck at some of bootscreens (model screen, Samsung logo screen) and it doesn't boot properly. Even if you remove the battery and insert it again to turn it on, it doesn't turn on.
2 - There are various reasons: incompatible kernel, incompatible rom, edits on build.prop, rom poorly flashed. And, for our device, if you try to reboot into recovery directly and it has CWM installed, it may enter on recovery bootloop.
3 - I''d say it is a "soft bricked phone". If you has access to recovery or download mode, congrats, you can undo the mess. But if you can't, you got a hard brick. So, it will need repairs.
4 - As I said before, if you has access to recovery or download mode, it is possible to recover it.
5 - It depends. First I would undo my last actions. If I don't have success, I would reflash stock rom, it's almost guaranteed.
So, it happened to my phone when I attempted to do a "Recovery Back Up" using "[ROOT] Rashr" app. I had a Recovery Boot Loop, which boots only into Recovery Mode. But it's fixed now. Here's the thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/grand-quattro/help/s-o-s-device-boots-cwm-t2981980
This is a reference for those who have the same problem.
Hello people,
I made a similar thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help-i9305/twrp-stuck-loop-t3069054 but as they are similar devices I thought maybe someone here could help me out.
I have an issue with my Phone (i9305) which came to exist doing a factory reset in the normal settings menu (not in recovery).
I rebooted in TWRP recovery, but it's stuck in boot (screen flashes "TEAMWIN" screen over and over)
I wanted to redo the TWRP using Odin3, but it doesn't reconize the phone.
I did find a helpfull post here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...1974160&page=3 (top post, #21), but the boot with dubbel volume buttons doesn't do anything different for me (other device thing maybe, or what buttons do I all need to press, when to release??).
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get TWRP running normally again so I am not stuck with a brick?
Any help will be appreciated!
Hello there!

When restart, it just loops in "Letv ..." logo forever.
Using adb devices, couldn't find the device. I tried all combination of power button with Vol+/-, same ...
