Recommendations to make Z5 Compact an ultimate gaming/performance device - Xperia Z5 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi fellow XDA members,
My Z5 is currently running on altvolt stock ROM but I'm sure you guys may have better recommendations to make this phone an ultimate gaming hp. Please share your ROM, tweaks, settings and configuration so that we can benefit together.
Thank you

I use atvolt ROM also, but z5c for is hot. So I downclocks CPU to 1.2 and use thermal fix for decrease heating problem

[Q] SetCpu settings for Xperia S

hey guys,
i recently rooted my xperia s and im now on the KA speed 11.1 rom w/ 5.1 sspeed kernel. I just want to find out what you guys think is the optimal setcpu profile settings for a rooted Xperia S. By optimal i mean (extended batt life w/smooth lagless operations and less cpu heat)
thanks in advance!

I overclocked to 1.89 , scaling is ondemand
Smoothness : very , very smooth
Battery life : the same for me
Cpu heat : Only when playing mc3 for 2 hours

And use AnTuTu cpu master , its more stable :good:
Before you doing something that can make your phone burn it is better for you to search an info about it. And there is a step of doing it not just simply swipe it to maximum clock. That is why the devs always remind us to take our own risk of overclocking. You can read more detail info from this link.

*Sorry for my english*
Overclocking the maximux cpu frequency doesnt mean heat/battery dies
It only increases the maximum level of what the frequency can reach , so if ur just browsing or watching utube or playing 2d games like angry birds , the fone wont run at the maximum overclocked frequency , so no effect will occur , but if u play a heavy game like modern combat 3 and u have overclocked , the cpu frequency will jump to the maximum and will cause heat after a while and more battery usage
Thats what i think
check my thread in the general section
Sent with my Sony Xperia S using a little bit of KA magic.
no necessary to overclock
hey guys...i bought my SXS with android 2.3.7 ....3months ago....bootloader unlocked...rooted...and really...2x 1,5GHz is totally enough for your device...even Shadow Gun runs perfectly smooth without overclocking.......but if you have installed a custom rom...you will get lags e.t.c ....if so...download chainfire 3d from google market....free ofcharge...install the driver and everything should be ok now.
if you want to overclock....i advice you to use cpu tuner...uses a bit memory...and you may choose how many cpu should run....i prefer to select just one cpu " in settings...use dual cpu.....deactivate" ....and then overclock it...you will get a nice performance and a little more battery life.
hope it helped
Has been using SetCPU for the last one day on rooted stock ROM n it really boosted the phone's performance.. Plus one of the weird thing is dat it actually saving battery.. I ws using juice defender & GO Power at the same time but wasn't quite getting da performance.. But now SUPERB! Attached are the screen shots of my SetCPU profiles.. Try it now lemme know =) ~

Which rom and kernel are you using ?
.76TW (Got some issues so its better if u use 75) and i fastbooted stock kernel after DoomKernelv0.4 to root =)
Hi, i have a question about setCPU. Can it on rooted XPS with Stock ICS kernel (build 6.1.A.2.45) control CPU voltage?
Or it's a limited feature available only for custom kernels? I have a locked bootloader so no custom kernels for me
Thanks (don't want to buy it now a regret it)

No voltage control on any stock kernels for any devices. Only custom kernels offer that.

[U] How to make your Xperia U lightning fast?

Hi boys,
I've been using the xperia u for about a year now and i'm pretty satisfied with it's overall performance, tough i think i'm not using its hardware to the fullest..
I would like to know what your experiences with the XU are and what did you find useful (battery saving, ram cleaning, etc...)?
Even ROM suggestions are welcome!
I'm a pretty hardcore smartphone user, as in twitter/facebook/GPS/messaging/..
Thanks in advance, hope you guys can help me!
Oh and by the way, I'm currently using SXU_TerraROMICS V2.1 as ROM, apps: AutoKiller Memory, Clean Master.

[Q] An x10 with low battery drain requested...

HI,
I just desired to know what is your take to be your preferred everyday rom for xperia x10.
I am surely looking for one; preferably jb or ics rom who's got low battery drain.
Any tips are welcome and appreciated
And i am a casual gamer so no hardcore gaming ability is required. Moreover i already have nova launcher so nothing fancy is required as well
thanks.

For more informations head to the main thread
It's still under test so feel free to report feedback or any problem you might notice, you are also welcome to share your experience and how much of improvement you are getting .
Enjoy.
Thank you!! I used lxt on Xperia Xz and was really great, gonna try it, thanks for supporting the XZ1
Edit: been one day with the tweaks, great results. Right now 48% battery left, 4hrs of SOT and 1 day idle. Using default profile.
All running smooth, I'm not a big gamer so don't know how heavy performance is affected. Definitely awesome mod, worth to try it.

[REQUEST] Custom Kernel Request for OnePlus Nord N10 5G

I'm looking for someone willing to help development of a custom kernel for this phone forward, as there aren't any options for it at this time, and the stock kernel definitely has some room for improvement for battery life and/or performance. I'm 100% willing to be a tester to help along bug finding and such, but I do not know how to modify kernel code let alone what it really does. I appreciate everything the modding community does and want to help in any way I can!
Edit: I forgot to add the obligatory first time poster, long time lurker disclaimer, so here it is.
Check my post for a Ktweak magisk module & script....its improved my battery life & performance quite a bit. I'm looking into the Nord version of the EX Kernel and getting it for the N10
KTweak -- Nord N10 5g
Hey there everyone! So since rooting my N10 I've noticed some decreased battery efficiency. In hopes to recover and possibly increase it I've taking the KTweak for the google pixel 4 series and adapted it for the N10. While using the script...
forum.xda-developers.com
Yeah, I saw the KTweak module. My issue with stock kernel is the input boost that cannot be turned off and the extreme swappiness with the zram. Otherwise, I'm impressed with the power of the phone.
