I got the tab s3 recently and I have some issues with the back button and the recent apps button. It seems to happen often. Neither button will light nor respond when pressed. Sometimes I just have to press the home key instead to get a response. Is this a known issue or do I need to get the tablet replaced? My tablet is the sm-t820 model and is currently urooted.
Hi
Just a thought, but have you got a case with auto wake fitted, a few of us are having problems with the magnets affecting the screen, worth checking

So uh ... my HTC HD2's home button decides to stop working today.
I believe it's a hardware issue because instead of the usual "click" I feel when clicking the other buttons, the home button just sinks in - and the light on the home button always seems a lot dimmer than the other ones. I am wondering is there any way to hopefully solve this problem, or I guess I'll have to end up calling up HTC about this phone I got off craigslist. .___.
Thanks!
I've got the Sprint model, and it seems like the capacitive buttons on the front are broken. the "send" button registers as a "home" and the "end" as a "back" so the physical component works but not the capacitive.
When I try to run Android, none of them work except the center one.
I've opened up the phone but can't figure out what's wrong in there. Any ideas?
Thanks.
PS: Also, sometimes when I press the buttons, they mess up the screen - the backlight doesn't turn off when the phone sleeps, and sometimes there's even some ghosting.
Seems like a grounding issue, but I can't tell where.
Hello,
in one of two cases the phone reactivates when I try to deactivate it. If you touch the display or one of the buttons while (or directly after) pressing the power-button the phone activates itself... that drives me crazy, because it is nearly impossible to deactivate it with one hand without touching the display at this moment.
Does anyone know hoe to get rid of that?
thanks for your help
I've experience that I think - I hit the power button to shut off the screen and lock it, and it immediately switches back on to the lock screen. It's not the end of the world as it is locked and will switch the screen back off in a few seconds, but it is strange.
Think I've figured out what's causing this - due to the size of the handset, when I go to switch it off with one hand, I find that my palm can just catch one of the soft buttons at the bottom of the handset such as the back button, so I think the back button is pressed immediately after the power button, causing the screen to come back to life.
So it's not a bug as such, maybe a design flaw.
Hi,
The home button on my sgs2 (I9100) randomly stopped working on a night out. It doesn't respond to any click (short, long, etc.). I am currently using an app to replace the home button but I'm unable to take screenshots or bring up my task manager now. My touchbuttons next to the home button still work perfectly. I have restored my phone to factory settings without any no result. My phone is not rooted btw.
I'm thinking about buying a new home button flex cable to try and fix it but I'm not sure whether that will fix my problem because the touchbuttons are still working. Maybe just the home button on the flex cable is broken so replacing it would fix my home button.
Any help or insights on the matter will be highly appreciated.

Hi. I have been using my Verizon V10 since November now and it has been great, but recently (like in the past 3 months) I have been unable to use the mini-view feature for one handed use. Whenever I try to swipe on the home buttons, the phone screen freezes and I am unable to click anything on the touch screen. What I am able to do at this point is use the volume rockers and power button, but strangely enough I am able to double tap the screen and turn the phone on but once the screen on all touch capabilities are gone again. The only way I have been able to resolve this issue is by removing the battery and replacing it. If anyone could help me that would be great!
